FRK Armada Directive Cooldown

I normally don’t buy FRK Armada Directives but the recent event refactoring, I bought a round & then discovered that unlike like the Refinery/Faction Store options (eg, Bajoran, Borg, etc) there is a near week long cooldown. Can this be “refactored” to align with the other armada cooldowns to be more frequent?

Finding it really hard to stay engaged in this game. Have been playing since before scopely came on board. At its core I think I stick around for the alliance/social aspect of the game. Waves were an okay shot in the arm for that. But I’m noticing chat getting quieter, mates getting more frustrated, talking less.

These endless new loops give players no time to breathe. There’s too much new content, that it’s stops being attractive - or feeling like a worthwhile spend. Especially since I know in a few weeks it’ll just be made irrelevant by a new arc that makes the previous one irrelevant/totally supplants the advantage of the last. It’s not worth my spend, or the time I could invest in going f2p on the loop.

Most of the time I get to spend in the game now is just claiming endless bundles and refines. It’s become an inventory management game.

These new loops, new buildings, new ships, new enemies, so many new currencies, aren’t interesting. The game doesn’t treat them as valuable when in the next update it offers yet a new one.

The quality of life in the game has declined. So has the fun.

So, can y’all chill out on the loops? I’m getting dizzy.

You still get transporter patterns, and you get more than you could pull before mastery. The claim is full pulls of both officer chests. It has the same visual bug that’s been around forever in various claims where it sometimes shows 0 officer shards instead of the patterns, but you still get them.

The refinery cooldown period is horrible. I'm trying to get enough 111 uncommon tier 3 gas to upgrade my R&D from level 25 to 26. After waiting for 10 hours for the cooldown to reset my refinery, for 12k gas i only received 21 uncommon gas. At this rate I'll be idle for the next 40 hours? Cause I can't upgrade anything else until the R&D is finished. smh

I used to look forward to December in this game. This may be the absolute worst flub of a battlepass y'all have done, and that's saying something. Events with store currency that can't be done or finished. Saying you'll run replacement events and then not doing it. The store itself is a disappointment. This whole set up is an unabashed attempt at dragging more money out of people, in a time you should be taking it easy because people have real life to spend their money on. It's shameful, it's ridiculous, and it's starting to drain away what fun was left in this game. At the very least, make the store currency events doable without having to spend money... that should go without saying, but it would be a show of good faith that y'all listen and are trying to improve player experience.

It doesn't say 30% discount...it says 30% efficiency improvement. Efficiency can improve forever, while a discount of more than 100% doesn't make any sense. The formula for efficiency is 1 / (1 + efficiency change). In this case, 1 / (1 + .3) = .769. 3000 * .769 = 2307.

When we go back to time (5 years ago) when we had one ship enough; Sally. The game was so fresh, relaxing and stress free playing with your friends and alliance members. Nowadays all things in this game takes quintillion hours. Dailies are way to overcomplicating, you need for every loop other ship, innumerable trillion kind of currencies, jumble of different shops, and decillion of clicks in this game

Really liking the new daily events❤️. They are a fun change. But there is still a need for the daily officer that pays out ship parts. Please bring back and also incorporate rare ship parts for 44 and above doesn’t have to be a lot. Only other problem is march of progress is way to high the rewards are great and need to stay at the level they are at but power gained need to be cut 50 to 75%.

The building and research upgrade daily needs to be reverted back to power gained and not mats spent. No point in spending mats just to get less mats than what you need to spend to complete. This event also excludes those who have level locked their buildings and most of their research as they are on the cusp of bumping to a new bracket with the next ops and are prepping for that jump.

So these new SMS have mo moving up OPs slower not faster , i feel like i cant upgrade ships unless its an SMS and i have to stop as soon as i cap so im sitting on dozens of ship upgrades now. Man. this arc is killing me. too many unsorted events. A few months back they put the heroic and quantum events in buckets, and that seemed like a good way for me to sort out what I want to do, what I can do, and what i'm going to ignore. these new daily/weekly events are just awful. 2 days after a SLB daily event is a weekly SLB event, or an arc SLB event, or heavy spend SMS event, and I can't keep up. my officer shards and XP drip is down to nothing, they don't overlap the spending SMS/SLBs so there's no real benefit without a double dip... I get the little dopamine rush from completing SMS events, and the lack of the old events is getting me really frustrated.

Last month was such a good arc and they just messed it all up this month.

You need 7 set chests pre op 38 for the artifacts , ive played 2 and a half months completed every daily every day i have 305 of those formada directives. i wont even have 700 by the end of this month to do the SMS one time.

They are the ones who review and decide what to change or not to change in an event, which is paid and which is free, before it goes live. The problem is when they give it to someone who is not the one who programmed the event to repair it. And they give it to them at the last minute with a time limit to be able to do it. The one who programmed it may have had 20 days to do it. And the one who repairs it, 1 day to be able to repair it. To the coordinator's liking.

I assume one of the reasons is that many research nodes are interconnected, so filtering would be problematic -- although areas like Starships are naturally grouped so wouldn't be a problem. I was wanting to see incomplete nodes, so in Combat, Station, etc. I could focus on nodes that need to be completed. I was thinking even if the filter left everything visible but dimmed the non-relevant items so the results "popped" visibly, that would be fine. Most armadas are group armadas (FKR, eclipse, Cardassian, etc). Any armada that multiple alliance members can join is a group armada. As opposed to solo armadas (dominion, borg, shipyard) in which only you can send ships.

Maybe lower G4s that want to sit in the G4 range a long while but a G5 has no need to scrap those. I've never scrapped a G3 Epic. We get enough resources as a F2P, or $19.99 monthly battlepass player with this years updates to not need to scrap G3 ships.

Scopley wants us all to level up so why put an Epic level artifact in for a 3* resources? They can have the artifact but does it need to be epic? no.

They should also have a 5* o/c/g reduction artifact since they want us to continue to level faster.

So apparently the new, impossible, March of progress event tranches were determined by average gain in power at your level, over a monthly period. was an adjustment made to pull out the power gained from upgrading ships and the extra power beyond the stated power when you upgrade defense platforms.

Congratulations Scopley today prior to reset i was bored and counted the events that I am unable to do because they require spending, 10 events, plus 3 more with unrealistic goals. I do think you did something right with the archives finally but even that could have been better, make the hijacked ships scrapable or remove them entirely. Please add Duscovery to the archives for those people who will still play this game going forward. The greed this arc displays is outrageous even for you, I will be quitting this game at the beginning of the next arc if this is repeated then. While I'm not a huge spender I hope this post will help others to make the same decision to walk away from this poorly run game.

SUGGESTION: The event rewards screen has everything listed at the top. Also, the tally from live kills is listed there and overwrites the information on the rewards screen. You click on their Website, then you can see that another Website is opening and you are able to choose between different payment methods. But none of this is from Scopely. It's an Third-Party Company called Xsolla ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xsolla ) that is handling all the payments for Scopely. All that Scopely after the Payment Process is getting is an "Yes, they Payment went through" or "Nope, no payment was done." So when someone does tell you that their Scopely Accounts were hacked and then Payments were done through their CC i can already tell you that it's impossible to pull since Scopely doesn't have any of those Details secured saved up anywhere. So the question should be how someone could obtained the CC Number and the CVS on the Backside of an Credit Card and on top answer the Security Questions that are in place if you pay with your CC Online that many Card Companies have in place. They either used a different Webpage that scammed them into inputing all those Details into an Webformular and then on top verify that payment manually or something else happened. This doesn't work anymore. The product is 6 years old. Too few customers for lower prices. There are around 250k player profiles. Now I subtract the dead and the second and third profiles... remain about 100 -150k. This works with the Cash Cow Monopoly Go from Scoply. The app was designed for small prices and millions of players. Scoply lives in Star Trek only from the old players who don't care about the prices.

Lets do some simple math Scopley... the 3 Borg battled event has a completed score of 853 million points. So if it takes an average of 30 seconds to kill one lvl42 hostile probe because the system is packed with folks doing the same. Then it will take approximately 5 hours to grind the 547 hostiles to complete the event. Have you broken your calculator? Not to mention that lower level players like like lvl 40 would be much longer. Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember Scopley saying they were going to try to reduce the grind not make it three times worse. Not to mention that most will run out of tokens well before completion

Well the description clearly states IMS, which may be confusing if you don't see it often which mean Instance Milestone (aka server SMS). And they were added to be ambitious so you as a server have to work hard to get it. Even with our server being rather well developed we don't always complete it. There have been a lot of complaints that the IMS goals were too high and they have been adjusted a bit, so if at the end your server is truly far off of the final goal, then I'd send in a report that it needs to be lowered if not enough people on your server can do it

That is what my alliance mate got. Took him about 20ish min to complete the survey he got the lat next day. Took me 40 min and it was pick the best and worst things on a sliding scale and then it gave me the top or bottom picks and I had to arrange them in top 3 or top 5 of importance. Literally took forever to do. I don't really care about what the reward is but don't say you're compenstating players and then not.

Repair is finished and shows 0 seconds, then underneath is a button labeled “Collect”, as soon as I click on Collect, the repair starts again from the beginning. Please please please fix TC Trailblazer event. It is one of the worst events and excludes more than half the population.

First, to be in active tc is a pain because it takes about 50 members doing a max refine if iso1, per day, to join 1 TC. That eliminates most alliances from joining actively.

Second, being in an active tc is boring or is a pain in the butt when you have bullies harassing you or players just wanting to annoy others. There is no fun in either. This further eliminates most players and smaller alliances.

Third, the rewards that are needed are impossible to get unless you compete the event or own specific TC. This eliminates so many for so many.

Please make it where pvp kills and deaths earn points in tc, during any takeover event. This will allow everyone to participate. Second, please add iso opc hunting. You can change the points to be 370 million points instead. And I points per iso. Or 100,000 points per pvp win and 50,000 points per pvp lose. This would allow the entire server to participate and play and be a part of this. You could even award double iso points if taken during an active TC. Or double points if your alliance is engaged in a takeover (joined). Please allow the entire game to take part and not just the top few alliances.

Which chest for example? You want to be very sure what you’re comparing. For example, when I open 5 Ultra recruit chests, it says I’ve opened 1 chest but I can confirm 5 were actually opened based on the # of officer shards I received. The splash screen is showing you the correct # of items you are receiving, the # of chests is the only thing wrong. So don’t take the splash screen and multiply it by the # of chests opened as it is displaying your proper item receipt.

Hi powers that be - I'd like for there to be a filter, either of stfc.space or in game on the officer screen, to filter by trait. I don't always remember who all has 'calculated' or 'mastermind' when I want to level up traits during say an AT BP event. Right now the only way for me to do that, is to have an AT task that is looking for that trait. Being able to look up who has specific traits will greatly improve my decision making on who to spend my trait xp on. Thanks.

Destroying a hostile normally takes about 5 seconds. It’s currently taking 10 seconds. Plus just loading a system is like watching a pot boil water. Every thing is taking 2-3x as long at minimum

It appears that the only way to get the Vi'dar Infinitus skin is through the "Return of the Megacubes" event. But, for some reason, this event limits the player to only being able to purchase 1/4 of the skin each event, and further is spaced out so much that I have now gone from having no Vi'dar at all to its archive being completed and having a Talios so much more powerful than a maxed-out Vi'dar would be with the skin that it's still pointless to use, and in that time it has only been possible to half-unlock the skin. This is ridiculous and now I wish there were some way to refund the half of the skin I have for the "Return of the Megacubes" event currency. By limiting this reward, which is only relevant for a finite portion of the player's advancement, to requiring them to save up across multiple runs of a certain event and then not running that event consistently, you are scamming players who actually trust your management of the game.

You should either actually run your recurring events consistently or not spread individual rewards out across multiple events. Pretty much every player who is currently 50% or 75% of the way to completing the Infinitus skin would have been massively better off spending their event currency on literally anything else at this point. Alternatively, a way to make this specific situation better for everyone would be to simply make the Infinitus skin effect also apply to the Vi'dar Talios.

But most people have jobs, they already have the grinding demands of the game which are quite high, and now they have hours upon hours of events daily that give very small rewards. At least on our server, most people talk how they have given up, and play much less until this arc ends. Having too many stuff to do is not better than having none. It is worse. @tidal notch Don't know when the official grading sheet will be out but about my only complaint about this arc is the overly long cooldown timer for the Polygon directives and chest pulls. Once a week is a little too long. Label Heroic events as heroic please. I went from Ops 55 to 57 this arc plus about another 50 or so researches and I didn't even make the first tier of the March of Progress SMS. Everything else was great!

And there's the rub. Believe it or not stfc is a light mmo... meaning yes, it's basically a job if you feel you have to keep up with higher level players. That's the state of massive multiplayer games. Pay to advance... or put in tons of time to acquire what others just simply bought. Right, wrong.. i'm indifferent I know what this is. Some games do it worse, some games do it better. STFC tends to be in a good place for me anyway. Community is everything. If your server is disgruntled yet the player base online is mostly happy... you can find yourself torn. It's your game and your decision. Bottom line and why I went down this line. You simply stated said game sucks. Cool.. if you want anything effectively done about it. Bring answers to your gripes. Wow, interesting. You felt the need to also twist my words. Indeed, if I didnt care, and I just needed to complain, I would have said "This game sucks". Instead, I said "This arc sucks". Typically when someone talks about a single arc, they compare it to other arcs of the same game. And if you look at other comments of mine, you will see I do give credit where credit is due. But that's reading comprehension for you. Does wonders if you actually do it right.

The archives indeed show promise. I never complained about the grinding of the game as a whole, but how the grinding in this arc has gone. The events need endless scrolling and are disorganized in 6-7 different categories.

The rewards feel significantly smaller. The number of SLBs have increased a few times, and the amount of resources gained from completing single events has decreased. Comparing it to other arcs of the same game, the difference is too big. It makes several players slow down and ignore much this arc because it is simply "too much". Now, we can tell all of them "don't worry, many such games exist", or we can admit that this arc has changed in the demands it has on players, and that is disproportionate to the rewards it gives from said events. Hence my starting comment which is an amalgamation of this information, "This arc sucks".

Still haven't heard a good answer to this... and so far all the public explanations are either "cryptic" or suggest that these events are for lower level players and we're just seeing this tab for no reason.

Completely fair response, but Scawa's comment was still correct. STFC is not the game for a lot of people. That's not a good thing, mind you, but it's still a true statement. This, sadly, is not the game for many people and that rests squarely on Scopely's shoulders. It could be, esp with the IP, but it's not. Having said that, for MMO addicts, it's probably the best mobile MMO out there, imo. (Again, it makes me sad to say that, lol)

Thanks for explaining mate. However, Scawa's comment was directed to me, not to the people Stfc is not a game for. I have been playing for more than 3 years, and I am ops 61. I say this, to explain I am not averse to game purchases. But in the last arc, the events that require to spend all your stocks have become daily and the rewards feel smaller. Take for example the almost daily fleet commander events. Once or twice a week is still fine. When it becomes 4 or 5 days a week for 4 weeks, things become a problem. Also the rewards for those events are minimal. The battlepass rewards give way too much of the new stuff, and decreased rewards for the general progression that existed in previous arcs. So focusing on this arc, it feelsthings have changed too fast, too radically.

Our Alliance is a fan of the waves and MU waves, I would like to make the suggestion that now we have beaten MU waves with 3 player that the scoring and rewards should be amended to reflect the effort taken. If the pulls associated with this were not tied to the f2p drip for the ship, perhaps expectation of getting at least 2x pulls worth of emblems could be considered "irrational" but given that it is...I struggle to see how anyone can advocate that the compensation provided should be considered adequate. It seems like the math was done so that Bronze IV G4 players could keep up with a single bp pull daily.
-To keep up with a 2x bp pull at Bronze IV you have to 3x pull daily. 2bps x 480 creds x 7 days = 3,360 creds to 2x bp pull for a week.
-You have to be at Silver I or higher at G4 to afford the 2x bp pull from the comp 363 creds/pull > 336 creds/pull needed (3,360/10 pulls)
G4 comp = 3,300 emblems = 10 pulls per week (3x2 + 4x1).
-You have to be Silver III or higher at G5 to afford the 2x bp pull from the comp 288 creds/pull > 258 creds/pull needed (3,360/13 pulls).
G5 comp = 4,500 emblems = 13 pulls per week (6x2 + 1x1)
-You have to be Bronze I or higher at G6 to afford the 2x bp pull from the comp 228 creds/pull > 224 creds/pull needed (3,360/15 pulls).

However, the comp chest needs to be revisited. There is the real expectation to double pull every day between arenas, so that should have been the comp chest. I'm not even talking about rating/ranking increase based on previous performance, but double pulls are only fair, since it is tied to progression on several favours (and the new ship, for f2p players).

I hope you can think about it!

Arena comp chest seems to have been based on ops levels, but chest costs in terran store are based on rep, which is independent of ops level. Arena comp chest should be the same for all, or based on terran rep rather than ops level.
