Not on you and shouldn’t be a content creators responsibility. The game design team should be more on top of things and more invested in a working product. What’s sad is you can go to any number of other game discords and see the clear difference in communication and professional pride in the development and support team.
Just a quick grab example of what communication and follow through can look like.

think the game had that for a while with mergers being a thing. players drop every arc launch. their accounts are still active .. since they get handed over to other. and scopely doesnt enforce tos cause that would most likely unearth a player loss.

This is one of the things I try to explain to players that they don't understand. Attrition in these types of games is normal. Mergers are normal. However, there are more level 19-29 players now than 3 months. (also the number of level 60s has got from 420->600+ in the same time frame). yes players leave due to frustration/game issues, but one of Scopely's biggest focuses is on new user acqusition.

Players don't realize the amount of new folks joining and new servers being created regularly. The number of daily players has still yet to take a real dip, and it's not because of mergers or players still being listed as active. Scopely actually archives many of these accounts. (they just ran the script again here recently).

That one I can't answer, as I don't have the numbers to what the game was at 2-4 years ago. So, no clue. I personally am tired/struggling with all the new loops. I was actually talking to someone from Scopely yesterday about new events/ships/etc. that could come out in the future and I was adamant that not only do I not have enough docks (and having paid for the +2) but for me to pick up any new loop I'd have to dump another one. Simply only so much time in the day and a lot share my frusrtation.

BUT, if players are waiting for attrition and people leaving the game to be the reason Scopely starts fixing things you're going to be waiting a very long time. It's why I try to get people to speak up more

I feel ya on that. I am doing the bare minimum on pretty much all of my lööps now. Likely to be dropping down to 1 chest syndicate soon too.(though I understand scopely never really intended that chest to be pulled everyday).

Claims take like 10 to 15 minutes per day on mobile. Even the daily mission claims take about 40 seconds per day lol. Never seen a game with so much claim bloat. And the 10 to 15 minute claim lööp pressures one to be on at the same time everyday too😂

That said, someone can attack you over, and over, and over on a daily basis (miners, warships, base), and that's valid game play. The game has no pvp rules. Although, some servers have a group of alliances that do enforce player based pvp rules, but no one is obligated to follow them.

Hey, do you think it's okay at Scopely that the ISO damage is so extremely high and the much more important question is why you can buy it so high. This ability should be significantly weakened because many players no longer feel like building or buying ships. If someone at level 50 is attacked by someone at the same level and takes little or no damage, the ability is way too strong! I know you like this pay to win mechanic, but this is going a bit too far. Make it so that this ability is subject to a cooldown and you can only use the ISO damage ability once every few hours. Similar to ship abilities

I'd score like 700m with my optimized setup up of 2x feesha, full ferengi horizon, and some G4 token space mining.

the score i got this time was with me losing several hours to falling asleep, being busy for a few hours, and not really using my 2nd feesha or horizon.

it went from "you can beat me if you're lucky or prepared" to "you'd need a week to catch up to me."

Updates can be done using versioning so that the act of switching users is little more than an single command, and with multiple parallel processes can be done 1 at a time so transactions are always processed, then only may require a quick user restart

I think the store (https://store.startrekfleetcommand.com/) is one of the worst coded sites I've ever encountered. And additionally, for you to "force" players to use it so that you can fullfil some metrics of reporting into a corporate machine is... complete insanity.

If you're to carry on with that PLEASE fix the code so it doesn't on page load attempt to load EVERY item in the store, as most mobile devices that are older than 2 years cannot keep up with how you've written that code.

I had hoped that lag might get better week two, since you could monitor what happened week one and adjust, but alas, nothing has changed.

When attempting to do a territory capture the system doesn't load anything, no ships, no nodes, no nothing. When it finally does load it takes 2 to 3 minutes to acknowledge a button press of either saying to move the ship to a location or attack another ship. So 10 minutes of the 30 minute battle is a "blank" system so nothing to do besides try to reload. and about half the remaining 20 minutes are my ships just sitting there doing nothing even if I told them to do something. Such engaging mechanics there.

This maintenance means that half the time I try to log in, it hangs and has to be reset. Every time I try to claim an event reward it hangs and has to be reset. Just general gameplay works for anywhere between 30 seconds to 10 minutes (maybe not that long) before the game hangs and has to be reset.

I've logged in and had no alliance territory ownership and so was unable to mine iso. I've logged in, first thing moved a miner off a node, and the game full crashed.

This is on Android. On my PC it was mildly better. But, prior to this maintenance I don't think PC ever (maybe rarely) fully crashed from a hung session. PC fully crashed/went unresponsive three times on me this morning. Once when collecting am event, once when trying to refine crystal, once when just killing hostiles.

Ships can’t be recalled, combat won’t take place, cloaking won’t work so can’t finish that daily. The pvp and Cerritos events and daily combat goals though are completely screwed and off the table for me to do. Clearing localization does nothing rebooting device dies nothing. This prime addition could potentially be the most unbalanced prime ever released for PVP/Base Raiding. This prime throws away every single defensive crew setup in the game. All at once it takes away any chance of a lower OPS player surviving or even damaging someone higher ops then them.

Part of what made this game at least semi enjoyable for me is the fact that money didn't always win over game knowledge. That with the right crews you could defend against some pretty big ships and punish people who didn't do there research or have proper crew setups. This prime takes away any remote sense of skill or knowledge in this game and just makes it completely play to win.

It destroys literally dozens of officer skills all at once and throws them away. It will not matter what crews or ships you use. Someone being able to just hit you two rounds in a row for free is going to destroy the majority of what you have. Kras will not save you, Pon will not save you, nothing will stop these first 2 hits from coming through. No amount of knowledge or preparation will save people from having there base wiped out.

I can almost promise you this was introduced because of high OPS players complaining that people in the mid 40s to low 50s could still defend against there very expensive ships. The new pvp crews already made it difficult to deal with and with this its the final nail in the coffin. I think this might be the prime that finally makes me quit the game.

Before at least you could dent a ship even if you didn't win against it now you will surely lose every time. Seeing them wipe out several key crew skills/captain skills all at once with one prime is just disgusting.

This takes away any chance of people trying to defend against a much larger player.

I know on out server, a couple players, yes, just 2 or 3 controlled all tc through fear and intimidation. A few of us were fighting them and managed to get in tc and they couldn't dislodge us. They complained and complained and YOU removed us and everyone else. You didn't fix takeovers and now they control it all.

They didn't like us getting them guerrilla style...fine, you give them voyager to find our bases. Ok, we can still defend and fight. Especially with strike teams defending bases.

They didn't like strike teams punching up and hurting them, do you made iso and allow 1 volley kills without ANY DAMAGE IN RETURN. It is brutal but Freeman allowed us the same. And we could have 1 big ship tp drop damage.

With a bold, active defense, we could repell whales at our bases. It was a big middle finger to them. The last defense.

With prime station delay, you killed the game. You have given the whales, the bullies, the harassers all they want, and all locked behind a paywall.

There is no counter. There is no defense, there is nothing to do but stay shielded 24/7 and not fight back. That is not fun. I am sick and tired, already, of being raided by miners. Of being cracked by miners. Doesn't matter what ships I have at home, when a maxed 58 faction miner with Freeman hits your base, even with multiple ships home, unless fully staffed, they crack and get a scoop. We are back at the old days of miner cracking.

You are free to do this, that doesn't me I have to play. I will give you a month to fix this, that is my choice. Then I will quit the game or just burn the server and kill everyone and drive more away, that is my choice.

I got to experience the real power of this. A 60 whale, who might have been able to get a scoop once or twice out of 10 was able to get 7 or 8 now. Using a 60 ship to crack and then using Freeman on the amalgam. The iso damage and crits will eat platforms. So unless you can instant repair a couple small ships AND a couple platforms, there is nothing you can do. You HAVE to shield now. Pon is the only possible counter and that is only 40% chance. The game is officially broken and not playable. There is no fun staying shielded 24/7 and not able to fight or pvp or raid or opc or defend in a war and forget tc takeovers.

I asid it last month, the reason they did the hugh event was to get rid of armada directives and sell packs. Too many players had too much saved up so they did a second hugh event to get rid of more. Then they dropped 5* armadas. And I can say the 5* packs are the best packs out there for armada loot. THE BEST. This was intentional. I had saved up dozens of epics and rares. I can't run any because the whales on our server declared war on anyone not under their boot and we are fighting.

• Add many more submenus/subcategories
• Make sortable (by quantity, by last recieved, by rarity, by grade)

Hello @tacit obsidian and @royal solar , I want to express my concerns about the state of the game. After watching Rev video about the new base delay prime and all, I wonder if I should leave the game and play ST Infinite instead. If Scopely continues to add primes for Pay to Win in this game, I guess it's time to stop spending and move on. About the station prime, why should I have to use resources to upgrade my defenses because the whales will wreck the station more easily.? And about game stability, I do see in the last months a lot more issues that I didn't have last year. Getting very tired of this.

Pon is a 40% chance delay and removes the strike team. The prime is a FLEET WIDE ALWAYS ACTICE. IN FACT, WHALES ARE ALREADY USING MINERS TO CRACK AND RAID ALL IN ONE SHOT AGAIN.

I will not continue playing with this type of game play. A whale can 1 shot a base before this and it only makes it easier for them to crack anyone not a whale.

For a smaller players to stand a chance against bigs, we have to instant repair 2 ships (lat only) AND repair at least 2 DP. Whales will one shot the DP with freeman/rom/hgw/lorca.

Not only are you guys not bringing a Disco-A arc, you're now forcing me to pay for something I've got thousands of useless spore drives for. And also for a maximum range increase of 400 to 600?! There are systems out there with warp ranges of 1500 now. Star Trek designed the Disco to be able to go anywhere it needed to. -One (1!) bugfix, for something that you obviously broke yourself, owned to a lack of sufficient (if any) testing
-3 new Primes to pay for fixing that one thing you broke yourself

You time and time again introduce game-breaking changes behind paywalls to squeeze more money from the big spenders.
You knowingly steer towards the point of no return where you‘ll have to completely start from scratch because all those short-thought „balancing fixes“ and whale primes will continue to utterly mess up your codebase as well as the game mechanics to the point of breaking.
So now we got G5 armadas, 1B power ships and a plethora of specialty ships. Whats next? G6 obviously! Lvl70, 1T ships and more primes!
And then? G7 and 1A ships? G8 and 1AA ships? I‘m sure you see where this is going, but you‘re not doing anything against it.
The non- or light-spenders will probably find themselves still below lvl60 when the big spenders hit lvl80.
Do you see the issue? You have a growing gap between the heavy spenders and everyone else, and it keeps growing.

how scopley works is they cycle players not keep them. they dont plan on keeping players for the long term but rather keep players in a cycle. new players on new servers that creat new whales. old servers get merged since non whales get tired of scopley and quit. eventually whales quit but scopley would have milked those old whales already so they dont try and keep them. instead open new server get a bunch of new players and new whales to milk. once they run out of new players/whales theyll drop the IP.

Freeman is way op for interceptors. With explorers, they need morale to activate their bonus and then you need an officer to apply one on them. The best you can apply an effect is Dezoc turn 2. 98% if battle are over by then.

For battleships. You need burning and they won't apply that affect until turn 2. So again, battles are over by then.

Interceptors take massive advantage of Freeman with Honorguard Worf and Lorca. Huge. It gives them a distinct advantage.

The new iso damage officers are the same way but worse.

And even with shaxs for the battleships, won't get an iso boost until turn 2.

The best solution would be to flip the abilities on strike team la'an. 10% chance to turn at the start of the turn +40% per synergy. And her officer ability would be the same increased shot chance as the other strike teams. For Ransom, his iso should work if his ship has morale or their ship has an effect.

Georgiou doesn't provide synergy with the strike team. So yes, tou xould trade off one of the side officers and get a 70% increase in shots but no iso damage. Even if you did have shaxs and you used synergy, you lose out on shot delays or shield reduction.

And, the biggest kicker, you lose those hull breaches and that drastically increased damage...same with explorers and morale.

There are artifacts that give iso damage when explorers have morale, battleships have burning and interceptors have hull breach.

Right now, Freeman is best with HGW and lorca. You get massive critical hits and iso damage is almost the same.

98% of all battles are less than 1 round by doing this, in fact almost all of themnare first weapon fired kills.

If you tried to get the extra iso damage on explorers or battleships, you WILL DIE to a similar sized ship. Almost every single time. You are not going to win unless you are using hgw and lorca.

The "cheat code" is scanning in the borg coordinate systems. It will still take considerable amount of time as well as impact your ability to mine anomaly, but the scanned hostiles do have a decent drop rate on commerce tokens

Look, I have put up with incursions not working, I have put up with the bugs, I have put up with people paying large sums of money to hit me with a ship 20x my power (I get it, you need to make money), I have spent probably $400 on this game, which may not sound like a lot, but is more than I have ever speant on any game in my life…and what do I get in return?

We pivot to a pure pay to win strategy vs. a mostly pay to accelerate. There are now so many elements of the game behind a paywall, oh and ya, now there is a prime, where the larger players can now smack my base and I have no recourse. There is no way to defend against the new prime. I have players that are lvl 41 to my lvl 46, that have a D4 with 15M power, causing 6M crits and 4M iso on me…owned my Valdore running the new meta crew, with a decent amount of research.

Look, I know you need to make money, but this culture of pay to win has to stop. I was about to drop serious coin into the game to get two more docks for defense, purely and mainly for incursions, but not only do incursions not run, but now, those docks are null and void since my defenses won’t work against the larger players I need them to.

In short, not only am I not going to bother with more docks, but I am considering dropping out of the game. Scopely, you have broken me and a lot of other players. I have not seen this many people flee a game in a while.

Yes... this Prime with the station is really evil. There is no possibility of Defence. I mean that I can't defeat a 🐳 is fine. The fact that my station burned after his visit is also okay. But I would like to do him at least a little harm just on principle. With the new Prime, it doesn't matter what kind of Defence I build. That's sad... actually it's a strategy game.

Yup, I used to be able to really hurt those sanctums, and I was hoping with two more docks I could actually defend myself, and yes, it would not defend against a G5 epic, but completely understand. Instead, now, I am owned, incursions I will not be able to raid as I have over 3T in resources myself, and with that buff, I would get raided as I raid.

The power creep with buildings is one things, at least I eventually am able to rank them up and it feels good when I do, but the paywall for some primes, and the forbidden tech, simply allow people to spend to win. And that is not fun anymore. I am fine with spend to get an advantage and spend to advance. But the pay to win strategy, it is now more evident than ever and really makes me not even want to try anymore, both with money and my time.

Unfortunately, it was overshadowed by the new station delay prime and the pvp Carol Freeman debacles.
Station delay prime negates active base defense and nullifies F2P strategy. Incursions will be a huge bore as players turtle up. Carol Freeman and critical ruined PVP. So what is left for a low spend player? Mining? Hostiles? Armadas? Essentially the most boring tedious aspects of the game.
Ultimate Djz stream seemed to indicate something even worse is on the way. Way to jump the Shark Scopely!

This prime lets G5 uncommon ship and maybe even G4 ships kill my base. Shielding up and moving away from the raid are certainly choices… just not strategic or entertaining

For me the G6 ships whatever, again, that is progression, I can eventually get there, I never thought I would ever own a pillum, but I am 41 shards away from it, exciting! Pay to progress is fine, I know I am never going to be the biggest guy out there, yet I love punching up and in my weight class. But the pay to win, which includes but is not only the station attack prime, that is where it is very disheartening when I will never win unless I spend serious money. On top of that, there is so much in the game right now to do, which on one hand is good, but it feels like a job to keep up, and that is not just from the smaller players, I hear that from the big spenders as well. So much has been introduced, that it is insane how much effort it takes to work on everything, unless again, you hand out lots of 💰💰💰. Which again, turns it even more into pay to win.

The problem is, most of those who go... go silent and do not delete the profile. For Scoply, everything looks fine. Sales per server are not falling at the moment. The number of players also looks the same on paper. The right problem only becomes visible later when too much stops... chain reaction. Who goes should delete his profile so that Scoply even notices it. And yes, I see more and more empty dead stations. However, they still exist on the pretty graphics in Scoply's Meetings. So they think everything is great.

Randomly when opening thr event window, the game simply freezes in the blank loading screen. And Randomly I get error pop up codes but I have no idea what caused it (error code 5 is one of them). Add a way for players to transfer servers at any level. The rationale supporting this is the following:

1. Scopely does nothing to enforce rules regarding in game conduct this leads to abuse, harassment etc and toxic gameplay on some servers.
2. Some servers have inactive players.
3. Some long term players may need a change of scenery to stay in the game.

For me personally it is shocking how bad this year is for f2p and F2p bp-elite players and how every event turns into "don't even have the chance of being top 10-20" if I don't get for e.g forbidden technology. Many games understand while making money they also have to be careful with balance f2p/ small spenders vs whales because without the majority of players the game will die slowly or even get boring for whales. This year has shown that they completely lost the little balance or consideration they had in the past for f2p / bp f2p. I am saying this from a perspective of a like so below whales dolphins and tuna fish. I am just worried that for what ever reason they are so much catering to spending they accidentally kill or slowly melt the playerbase that is vital.

Don’t know how feel about the game , but I can honestly say that these past 2 yrs have really ruined much of the game. From the several severe screwups that made the game unplayable to screwing up of how armadas work to the severe lag times. Armadas used to be good where you killed unc you got some rare derectives to do the rares and rares gave epic . Now it takes way longer then an hour in many systems before armada responds, doing unc gives epic rare gives epic and epic gives epic making it nye impossible to do rare. Then you get these stupid events that say you have to do rare or epic to score when you used to be able to score even by doing unc ones , on top of that this bs of saying score by doing armadas rare or epic without specifying so people who spend armadas tend to get screwed then when launch a complaint about it they go and say oh it means only regular fkr armadas. If you don’t specify then it should be any armada . You do know companies been sued by not specifying things.

Dear scopely, the new station delay prime should be removed, comp buyers with new officer that either synergises with ROM, or has the same ability as an officer skill. This would then be a more balanced approach as ROM would then be valuable and not useless any longer + there still remains a small counter (kras) that can reduce, but not fully negate the 'package' : for example 2 officers with synergy adding another 2 rounds of delay (3 total), partial negation by kras to 2 rounds. THIS is what i call BALANCED -> because theres no 'crit officers' as the bridge is full of the 'ROM SQUAD' this also negates most of the current 0 crit dmg issue TOO. What postrate couldnt think of this as a solution?

the new isolytic PvP crew completely obliterates the usefulness of strike teams - may as well put Badgey as captain. the game is no longer enjoyable, and gaining the new iso officers is next to impossible and/or takes far too long to acquire just a few shards, which knocks me out of PvP.

if Scopely's direction is going to be to continually negate my hard work, then i just might tell Scopely to pound sand and leave the game for good.

Answer: we passed that threshold.

Primes should be there to skip grind and advance more quickly, not to create a completely different playing environment for payers.

The whale game has a subscription fee of about $2,000/month and anything below that is being pushed out entirely.

If you want to keep players:

• all Primes need a grind path
• all new Primes materials (dolomite, valor emblems, etc.) need reasonable sourcing in the game (voyagers 3 year pathway to one level of one multi-level prime is not adding it to the game)

Here's your feedback - restarting the game to get it playing every 20 mins (and that's being generous) is not fun. In fact, it's the complete opposite of fun. Getting a black screen when you shift to a research page, or a station build page is not fun. The only time the "network issue" sign disappears is when the game has flaked out and is unresponsive. @tacit obsidian @royal solar you have a serious imbalance of power when it comes to the iso officers. Ransom needs to be on and explorer and morale which can happen turn 1. It is not as bad. Battleships are completely hosed over. Skaxs needs to be on a battleship and burning, the iso damage boost WILL NOT OCCUR until at least turn 2. And there is a change it won't occur at all. The fill strike team for interceptors and explorers will always, 100% occur. This is broken and imbalanced, especially when 98%+of fights are over turn 1 and 95% are over the first weapon fired.

The tracker is: have you spent more time in game clicking attack more times than is entirely necessary or healthy for an idle time phone game. If your device says you are spending more than 2-3 hours a day in the game, you have issues, and that’s being generous on time.

You can also hit it with farming ship XP. Since it is 1 hostile per minute, so 4 ships could mean in 8 hours grinding out 1,920 which covers most it...so, hitting it in your sleep is definitely possible

I was spending around £600 to £800 a month on the game until Scopely introduced this massive imbalance. Consequently I have spent nothing on the game for 6 weeks and will continue not to spend any money. Scopely isn't listening and is simply trying to extract as much money from the whales as possible. I'm not a whale but if enough people like me stopped spending maybe, just maybe, they might start to listen.

Get rid of the event BP Tab, I lost out on two days worth of events because of the new format. Its really bad. Some of us don't care about the territory event stuff, so put THAT on a seperate tab and leave the monthly bp event where it always has been, the front of the main screen so you don't miss it. How about you do something useful instead and fix some bugs, or maybe sort out the armada stuff, find something to do with all that useless currency we have in our vault. I would just love it if this game didn't completely lose connection every time there's the slightest change in Internet connection. Cell service gets just a tad weaker: Disconnect and reload. Cell service gets stronger: Disconnect and reload. Why are there still lag issues? That's why. Any change in internet connection, good or bad, causes a timeout. It's less noticeable on PC, but still has the same issue.
