First of all, something very rare, unfortunately, scopely: I think the idea with the avatars is good. It's a change from the usual in the game! But what's absurdly Bad is that you can almost only throw Armada events at our feet. Or events where you get points if you let your ships attack. In the current case, a combination of both. And that's not all, you screw it up with the fact that there are -we almost always- mistakes. I'm missing guidelines and I lost points in an event. Your lousy ingame support takes 2 days to send a reply, which only says that you need more time! That is pathetically bad! I lack the guidelines that I have lost due to your lousy quality. Many players are just annoyed by your increasingly bad events and bugs. Some will stop playing the game. What is the reason? Do you only get bad programming? Is your management too far away from the product it wants to sell? Do you really think that such events are fun in the long run? Shame on you!

State of game feedback: the current state of the game (ie performance) is at its worst ever, continually lagging everyday, bugs everywhere, armadas are killed but still visible for minutes afterwards, select a menu option & it takes 5 mins to register, constantly kicked out of the game (on average 5 times an hour) game freezes on menu options, game kicks you out on menu selection, visual bugs everywhere (ie you have half hull then it’s 100% then back to half a minute later) grind time in game averages 3 hours 30mins to 5 hours per day (that does not include completing all loops/mining) it’s bout time we have an honest response from scopley, clearly what needs to be done to stabilise the game is not being done except for very quick fixes that on some cases last only mere hours. An awful lot of players pay a premium price for this game IT IS time for us players to have a premium, genuine response about what the fixes are going to be… @tacit obsidian @royal solar @weak marten

Also, tuvok doesn't seem to have any effect. Is scopely just lying to us and deceiving us? How do you get compensated for that? Why is there no ingame warning about this? What is this lousy service? By now you could write something every day about things that don't work or don't work properly! You, scopely, should pay us players money!

Have had an alliance together for a year and a half. We have a great time playing the game together. We have become so used to the glitches and bugs that we fully expect them each day. But this latest Event truly blew me away. I get that maybe the first day could have been Armadas. And I think the gameplay showed it. Lots of competition and many people trying to score. But then Day two and three of Armadas. Biggest Spend event in the history of the game. Here at the end of day three, I can stay in the top ten grinding hostiles. People have lost interest in the event. At least on my server.

Realistically most would only be hitting the solo board stuff today/tomorrow if that had gone as planned.

Change the limit not by total hostiles but set limit by type… that way when we kill our limits by faction hostiles we can go and kill swarms and get frequency modulators or Borg probes and not feel cheated out because of the event requires us to kill more than our daily limit

Its been like two weeks since the issue began and we havent received any official word from Scopely on it. Tons of wasted directives with no artifact rewards overall for your customers. Anyway, while we try to communicate the issue to our alliance mates, people still are wasting those directives often.

For all its worth, I can imagine that keeping such a complex game running at all is a real test. I do also understand that the company needs to make money to keep it running. From the outside looking in there seems to have been something on the order of 10 to 12 mergers this year. Attrition must be on the rise for longer-time players. Trying to keep my team engaged and having fun is a priority for me. Many have become friends and enjoy the comradery. The thing I hear the most is that if not for the interaction with the team many would have left a long time ago. Seem to me some hard looking at how to cure some of the more long-standing issues should be at the top of the list. These are just a few main ones. Armadas create a huge number of instabilities in the game, Apex doesn't have the capacity or refresh time to allow smaller teams to complete events in a reasonable amount of time. Let's start with them. I know many on this server have been asking for some positive changes on both of these. 🖖

It’s really not that complex of a game, it’s point and click and let math happen. Even visually it’s not complex.The issues all stem from them not being willing to take the time and make the core coding more customizable and instead keep kludging new feature on that affects older coding in ways they don’t understand until afterwards because things are not more modular and integrated.

Armadas are now not clearing/respawning after being killed. You are able to start them, and they will take your directives, but you can't kill them and get points/rewards. 💩

doing a ping test doesn't tell you anything except that you have a connection. it will expose significant latency, but will not show if your internet provider is throttling you or deprioritizing game connectivity over streaming media.

I'm not a programmer by any stretch of the imagination. But thanks for your post. It at least gives me another perspective about some of these things that I can bring back to my team. And thank you all above for adding your thoughts as well. I do hope Scopely will attend to these things soon. If it's not a complex game then I don't see what the problem would be to burn a little midnight oil for a week and just run simple missions while releasing the fixes that are needed. You have a fun game when it works you don't want to disenfranchise players any longer. It would be a shame to see this game go away as it has brought so many together.

How about it Scopely. Give everyone a multi day shield. Close access, send all active ships to there home bases. Then fix and clean up the program issues. Restart the servers. Any ships out belong to inactive accounts and remove them. And any ships moving are bot accounts and can be removed. Hopefully this will fix the lag and programming errors. And rid the game of bot accounts. You figure out a compensation package for everyone to cover down time. It’s either this or start bleeding players. You can’t keep plastering over problems.

I'd advise you to remove the banning and directly invite him to join, I believe that alienating top players isn't very clever ...

WarThunder's playerbase revolted not long ago because the in-game economy was so bad that players felt the only way to break even with battle rewards was to pay premium time. Things got out of hand for Gaijin (WarThunder's developer company) really fast. I can't say the game now thrives in paradise, but the changes made to the game economy worked and it's actually rewarding to play now.

Armadas aren't worth anything, I'm 59 and the rewards stink to anyone that isn't compelled to raise the ACC to 50, the "chance" is a joke (isn't it gambling?).

Scopely is pushing armadas with events, just to to sell directives of course, but even with business in mind they don't care to "guarantee" that the damned thing works!

The only I do is to help fellow alliance members, but this stinks and is costing my time!

How about working in the weekend 24/24 to fix the damn thing, and btw the whole game!

Here's some feedback. There needs to be more ways to make coins for the Bjoran faction store. It takes about 4 days just to make enough to buy something. At least include some coins when players group armada Cardassian and Obsidian stations. Even if it's 20+ coins per station, it's something.

So on Kamin 78, the level 32 doomsday armadas will not spawn at all. This leaves out about half my team from competing in the event. Some Domesday systems will not respawn at all.

General feedback about missions. I discovered the delta quadrant by curiosity, a week later I got to the mission that creates the wormhole to the delta quadrant (that I already used), the conversation, hence, sounded silly and weird that I'm discovering new territory but it's not new.

Either put a red lock on that wormhole until the mission, or modify the mission so it doesn't play out of sync.

Hi there. The stability of the game is, said frankly, the worst of any game I have! Any time I change from system to galaxy, or vice versa, i must reboot the game. Same goes for switching to deep@space, or if I don’t do anything for 20sec…..it kicks me out and I must reload the game. It happens seconds before a battle/armada.

If you pick lower time armarda like my alliance is doing right now. Cardassian and worm fissures 5-7 minute timer is 300 minutes using 1 ship so 5 hours for 60. If you are using multiple you can cut that down. If you limit yourself to 15 minute armardas sure that's going to take a while

As a returning player when i reinstalled this game in Mai and started anew on Server 106 i can tell you the following.
The game has become very fast, at least in the first 30 operation levels as far as i can tell.

As i noticed you already improved the occurence of galactic cleanup to every saturday. But the game has become so fast, if any f2p attempts to grow naturally they miss out many many important specialty ships until much later. Yes the Eventshop from the Voyager-Arc will help greatly. But nevertheless, it takes only 5 to 6 weeks from operations 17 to 25. Not even enough to get the Franklin.

I would say when it comes to the specialty ships for really starter levels, please improve the blueprints aquired by the factor of 2. 5 Weeks for 1 Ship is still long, at least for the basics. Franklin/Vidar, you can leave the Discovery as it is with 10 Weeks.

And if you consider any changes... look at the Sarcophargus as well if you got some time left 👀 . 🙏

If you placed decently in the SLBs during the first week (which you should if you actually ran that many armadas, especially if you actually ran solos which was the intention), you still get enough for 6-8 elite SMSs, which will be between 4200 and 5600 credits. Which is even more materials. You also got these credits as reward in the SLBs themselves. You're just not doing the math on how much the credits are worth in mats, honestly.

As for repeating the elite events, after last week what makes you think they will change the elite events from costing some sort of resource (bet you they repeat exactly). Frankly you are overvaluing what at my ops is a modest amount of uncommon/rare. The shards are neither here nor there. It is a crap design with a crap slb for something that had players spending a week to position themselves to do well in. And you can wait until tomorrow to eat the crow but if there is any variation at all it will be in the single ticket events. There is no reason to try to convince us this isn't garbage content because we got a convoluted trade of armada directives for mats. We already have that in the form of armada pulls.

Your claim that your low to no spending alliance is filled with people with thousands of directives is ridiculous. You don't get that many green directives per month even if you buy two cow packs and the weekly alliance start that along with dailies is maybe 1000 directives a month and you are saying your alliance has 4-5 months of directives just sitting around. Right. Whatever you say. The event is still garbage and the entire point of making convoluted conversions from directives to tickets to some ridiculous currency via leaderboards that people overspent on (you have no clue what the cost per 🎫 was in directives on any server but your own) is to to deliberately obscure the cost of the rewards so that people like you think they are getting a good deal. You aren't or they wouldn't be doing it. It was giant directive sink across the game and is a terrible event, especially if the continue to make the elite events use resources (at my ops 420 uncommon to do the ticket for reference). 4-5 months of directives sitting around seems quite right. If you are punching up you don't really have an issue with uncommons. I have 44 days worth of max pulls if I never do an armada again. Besides, for the event, any armada counted.
I know exactly how many directives I spent, and I know how many materials I got, and it was totally worth it 🤷‍♂️
There are no decent events for using uncommon armadas anyway, which is another reason we had so many sitting around. In other events they count 100 points while rares/epics count 4000/7500+ so barely a tiebreaker.

If anything the issue you had is that your bracket was 34-37, so you were fighting a bunch of people that can do Bajoran solos and you can't. Sucks to be the lowest level of your bracket, but that's true for any SLB.

For months now, the iOS version of the app has prevented iOS devices from locking and going to sleep which causes excessive heat, since the game remains running constantly unless you manually close it. I raised it in the bug channel, I’m sure other have too. No sign of a fix for it.

You get attacked by bounty hunters who are anti-augment. Once you have pawn rep with the Augments, they begin to hunt you since you’re an ally of the Augments. It’s like the opposite of the 3 main factions.

They told me to do some missions and it will populate. I was told to contact them again if I didn't get the mission after doing the other missions. I did those and then some. Still nothing. I sent in another request for assistance and I haven't received a response. I would have used speedups by now so that I could continue to progress in my game. I'm stuck. Does anyone know what I can do to either get the mission or get a response in game?

If memory serves, bonus refinery is still working off of the old loot tables and the bonuses don't apply, Rev made a video about it a few months ago I think; they updated the loot tables on the regular refinery and of course we've had other stuff since then like the bajoran favors but they only updated the Bonus refinery to use the additional chests from the prime researches last year but they never updated the loot tables to match the regular refinery

The g3 bonus refinery isn’t buffed either. It’s just that the regular g3 refinery doesn’t have as many buffs so it’s less noticeable than with g4.

The G3 refineries actually say “+1 Refinery Batch” and while never great, always seemed worthwhile. But the G4 bonus refinery pulls yield less uncommon+ than regular refinery pulls 🤷‍♀️

Right the g3 gets the effect of the refinery prime, but what’s inside are also unbuffed amounts. The g4 refinery is relatively worse because the refinery buff for g4 was bigger than for g3, plus there’s the bajoran favors that further improve the regular g4 refinery. So g4 bonus refinery is absolutely terrible now and gives maybe a quarter of the regular one, while the g3 one isn’t as bad and the lower outcomes are mostly offset by getting guaranteed uncommon/rare.
PS: just to be clear, I agree with your main point about the g4 bonus being bad. I’m just answering your question about whether the bonus refinery is buffed: they’re not buffed, neither g3 nor g4.

The inventory Other/Misc section should be split out into further subcategories. Warp Cells, for the Borg and lucrative cells. Event currency, for the old and recurring event currencies. Armadas, for the directives and credits. Recruit tokens. Faction credits. Mission items.

Alternatively, you could allow for custom categorization. Or sorting, e.g. by type, by faction/species (putting together Borg transwarp cells, war funds, recruit tokens etc). But those seem like more complicated features to implement than just adding some new categories for the Other screen

Just an FYI for anyone thinking they will upgrade their Q trials building, so they can do the "rare" trials. Don't waste your money or effort on it... The last few hostiles on a rare trial(3 star), are like 3+B power. Not completable unless you're like ops 60, with a 1b+ power 5* epic. To put it a different way, upgrading the Q trial building is a waste of money unless you're ops 60+

the coherency of this arc is...not great. So we get voyager and we get formation armadas, but Voyager can't participate in formation armadas because its ability that activates against bioships doesn't activate against formation armadas (despite them being bioships). Also Voyager officers are not sourced through the Voyager refinery but through doing formation armadas (which, again, you can't use Voyager for). Additionally, Voyager has research that increases loot for armadas Voyager is in, but there's no armadas designed with Voyager in mind so why would you ever use it in an armada?

The officers look interesting but that's where my interest ends. Rare formation armadas pay out isolytic artifacts which I have from engaging with the Voyager loop (so the feature is DOA). FT I don't engage with at all. Primes and Fleet Commander not interested in as pay for features; and still a G4 player so G5 content irrelevant. If it wasn't an event store I would've considered a 30 day shield (if they hadn't been taken away)

What’s the “average” number of times one could be kicked off at random? I ask because it’s happening more frequently to me.

I’m getting kicked by simply going to the faction screens, mostly Bajoran kicks me off. I have to restart my tablet once I head to hostile faction space, specifically Romulan (or DQ) but mostly Romulan as I get kicked right as I enter the system if I don’t restart.

Or I just get kicked off for no reason, it’s just a day ending in Y.

I’m getting kicked 12-15 times a day in the last six days. I’ve been trying to keep track.

Is all this just a “normal” part of playing this game I just have to deal with?

They are still running on the base legacy code from the previous game developer, and have never really re-written anything as far as I can tell.
Game is a massive kludge of Jenga blocks and adding blocks can topple more things than removing them. Also, touching a block or looking at it funny could break things.
