The mini battle pass has been great in the past. The change to having no unlock for a blue is unwelcome. I have purchased it several times in the past but half the shards for an officer that you can't source until 33 is worthless. The snw Spock mini pass got you the unlock with the $10 option if you did it and overflow. This one gets you a big pile of maybe if you weren't playing during the snw arc.

I wish at least the battle log reflected the true numbers at play, during combat.

Is hostile penetration reduced by (30+200=) 230% or (30x200=) 6,000% or (30x200%=) 60%? I wouldn't know.

Plus, the battle log also reflecting XP multipliers. Sure, it doesn't help in battle, but I'd still like to be certain they will apply, as opposed to just trying to catch the quick flash of XP gain, go back to the station, repair, rearrange the crew, go find an identical hostile, and see if that blink-and-you-miss-it XP gain was any different.

Plus, does Pike's Officer Ability multiplier even apply to Hendorff (and kin's) officer ability?

The correct math for Moreau's ability would be 30% * (1 + 2) = 90%. The 1 is the base value of the officer (30%) and the 2 is the bonus from Pike (200%). Since there is no research that decreases hostile penetration (to my knowledge), this would be it. If there was, those numbers would be added to the (1 + 2).

Ship xp is not dependent on the battle itself so Pike's ability would not apply to Hendorff or any of the other officer ability that does not activate in combat (an example a lot of people try to use is 5/11 for loot bonus; it doesn't work).

I can't lie its incredibly disappointing to see incursions canceled again. I understand there being issues but back to back 2 months in a row is sorta wild. This marks 3 months we haven't had one.

This might sound silly to some but it was the first event that actually felt community based. At least on server 84 we all worked together and communicated a lot. Its was fun and can unite servers for a general cause which usually is not the case with every event in this game. Besides the rewards we now lose out on its an aspect of the game that was added and is now missed. How are you fumbling this event so badly? Now we wait another month again? It feels so poorly done and its just disappointing because at least for me it was something I looked forward to everyone month in this game.

Fix the mantis grind. I only have a certain amount of time to play. Currently all the regular enemies aren't giving an exo, and the only apex is frozen. I can't afford to just sit around and wait for rng to kick in. How is that remotely okay?

Sadly… second there was an incursion where the PVP events was about 12h and both at the same time for home and away team. So much better to do. We have really problems to find enemies. Also the killing of only Franklin A, is more then worse. Many players don’t have a Franklin A, it’s a long way, you know.

Your gifts of 50 or even 200 SHIP XP are a joke and a waste of time, especially when you need 47.5K to upgrade your ship. and what about the other 10 ships that need the same thing. Lack of the necessities are leaving people disgruntled and in despair. We need a lot more of this and a lot more of the uncommon minerals. That extra exchange that you run periodically for uncommon should be run full time, every day, every week. I still think an event with 1 million SHIP XP would be a big draw.

Of all the utterly ridiculous and not at all thought out things that Scopely does the way it handles logging in on a new device redefines dumb. It is bad enough you have to go through the whole tutorial BEFORE you can log in (why not let us log in first?). Then it comes up with a very poorly worded message of the choices when you do log in on your new device. The final coup de grace is that it marks all your missions AND officers as ‘New’. Why?

It seems like this has never been tested because as a process and procedure it is obtuse at best.

Notifications in the game are notoriously bad. They shouldn’t be, but always have been. Never rely on them for anything.

Also due to the scoring issues, we were declared the losers, but who knows we might have been the winners if the scoring was correct. All loosing servers should have got the winnings as well as it wasn’t fair that it didn’t score correctly.

The Battle ship ST crew (La'An, Ortegas, Una) do not require Burning to be active to have their Officer abilities to work. Only La'An's Captain's ability requires Burning. They only require to be on a battlehsip and fighting players. But the Interceptor Crew Require Hull breach and the Explorer crew requires Morale. Why is the different teams designed in such a way with the extra requirements on the Explorer and Interceptor Crew?

Many players are unsatisfied with all the new grinds you pushing in so that its just too much to do.

I know some might say you dont need to do everything, but this feels bad for many players, basically fomo. Also you miss out on stuff.

My suggestion regarding QoL improvement: define a average daily playing time. As soon as you push new stuff (like daily borg grinding and borg solos), estimate how long this takes and see if it exceeds average daily playing time. As it certainly does you need to reduce grind for another cycle!

You already have good examples on that: amalgan grinding, frank-a with giving 3 times the points for dailies, borg refinery with atas (before new stuff)!

I can partly understand why you constantly need to push new stuff, but if you do, reduce time on other grinds!

Uncommon Armada Packs needa to be changed. If I shared the last 10 weeks of screenshots it would show you proof that there is zero chance of receiving max Rare Armada Tokens. I'm cusping 34/35 lvl for a several months and the Recruitment and Armada Chest just suck, to put it mildly. Scopley needs to address and fix this disappointing minimum rewards tactic. Why would I spend money on a game that needs constant repair?

Prophet's Tribute is a one-off favour that upgrades your 24hr chest in daily gifts (adds 100 ultra recruit tokens).

Prophet's Gift adds a new milestone on the end of daily goals (think it only needs an extra 10 pts) which gives additional Syndicate rep and Bajoran badges.

Dominion Domination will help your daily Jem hostile grind - but get Prophet's Prize alongside as that will boost Jem loot drop so again will speed up the grind.

When you get onto solo Armadas, Prophet's Reward will give a decent boost to armada loot which will let you open chests more often.

For the rest of the Favours, it's very much what you prioritise for your play style. Like cloaking? Then Tetryon Abundance will raise the cap on how many tetyrons you can store. Like PvP? Then Lenaris's Edge, Stubborn Defence, Kira's Sword and Bajor's Advantage all help.

FIX LAG. I will never spend money on anything territory related because of this. Recently my server merged and territories went up for grabs. Coalitions of alliances are just getting 600-700 ships to spam territories 45 min to an hour before a takeover. Systems get locked out and meanwhile while trying to fight, ships that are on attack vectors either stop and the cross point or just start traveling in the wrong direction because what we're seeing isn't where the actual ship is. This is destroying anything fun about territories. FIX IT would be my suggestion and until you do... stop playing with mergers. You're making the game unplayable for later stage players

SNW Pike is the Pike from the show Strange New Worlds so he is in the Mantis officer pulls with the other SNW officers. They are the same actor and the same character in both shows. So in short it’s how they keep us confused.

Sooooo it seems that scopley totally messed up the 1 of its packs. At my level the Dil included was 3.5 trillion in tokens, a totally insane amount.

On realising their error they have pulled the pack, here’s the problem:

If you pull the tokens back to the intended level then everyone that bought it should be entitled to a refund, you can’t change what hey bought after they’ve done it.

If you allow it to stand everyone that didn’t have chance to buy the pack is massively disadvantaged compared to those that did.

It’s a 1 limit pack anyway so I’d highly recommend reinstating but at the level it was at in error. Otherwise you are being grossly unfair.

What I expect you to do is….. well nothing. Pretend it didn’t happen.

"Requital Part 9" final stage - Mine 3M Tritanium for Ruchin. Crewing up all 4 shipslots with best miner and officer combos I can muster this turns out a speed equal to just a few mins short of 49 hours of mining. The Vidar Talios, despite looking better on paper, the performance against borg probes honestly is disappointing, and as of now I can get more probes per transwarp cell with my maxed vidar, and much faster at that. I know, I know, world's smallest violin and all that, but still.

And don't even get me started on the loot exocomps. Supposedly, they're a "catch up mechanic?" You can't even meaningfully pull the exocomps unless you have a maxed vidar to pull BSA directives...

So we kill a solo borg armada to get a 1 hour buff, which will stack up to 7 times, which we take over to another armada that has a 15 minute timer. So we can expect maybe 3 runs of the expansion cube on those buffs when I’ve got 6 people who will be rushing to start them? Arc loop day 1 feedback since Rev Deuce discord doesn’t have its 💩 together:

1. I cannot tell you how fast I turned off the hailing frequency setting after doing the dumb sms.
2. I was incredibly pleased to learn that diligent FTP players were being rewarded with the new ship in just 8 days.
   2a. I just got the Vidar skin in your event last month and now it’s obsolete. 😑
3. Very frustrating how much of Scopely’s resources are going into cosmetics like hailing frequencies and the stupid help button aesthetic (things that do not generate revenue) rather than fixing the lag, fixing the bugs, or consolidating defunct currencies (things we have been told are not a priority because they don’t generate revenue).
4. Really? I have to build an Orion corvette even though I have one already?
5. Sourcing for these new officers is going to be a problem. Dabo table rng rates are WAY too low. There should be at minimum one officer shard per spin. WAY too low. Did I mention WAY too low?

Today is probably one of if not my last day playing this game I have loved for years. My wife plays too, and some times it seems all we talk about is how the game screwed up this or that each day. Today was not fun. Hailing frequencies was not entertaining. New Vidar, not entertaining. 1/3 of my alliance will not be able to get it this month f2p because they have not maxed their Vidar yet. Yet another new armada, not looking forward to that. We really have to coordinate our alliance members doing BSA's right before we do the new group borg armada? Thought I'd share some feedback in this general-feedback chat:

• Hailing Frequencies: the most useless addition to date (that event was a total laugh - like, seriously? got better things to do than waving at strangers 50 times!)
• New Sent Help notification: when I hit that button, I know how many helps I am sending. No need to spell it out in yet another obtrusive popup/bubble!
• Current missions: mining 3M of trit? even with maxed faction miners, this will take several days!
• Current missions: requiring an outlaw transwarp token when for most OPS 40+ players, that area is long dead. had to do some Stella grinding to get that...
• App crashes: yes, it's over three years now and the app still crashes like crazy on a brand new iPad (heard complaints from Android users as well). There's no improvement on that at all. In fact, those crashes seem more and more frequent with every major update!

People with max Vidar should have the option to reach the 36's without assistance and find out for themselves the daily grind aint worth it.

• Switching back to the cash grab for this arcs epic officer?? I thought Scopely had learnt their lesson based on the previous outrages this caused. The outrage on this will be diluted because the implementation and missions have been badly done. Put in a spend SLB!!!, not SMSs!
• The emojis are a complete waste of time and energy, for both you and us, basically no one asked for it and no one wants it
• Good job on giving the ship away within arc, this is one of the few things keep me engaged in this arc, but having an armada SLB the arc before for the Vidar skin....
• Borg solo armada warp range is becoming insanely time consuming. You want to hit the biggest you can, so you need to repair inbetween solos. It takes me 7 mins to fly out, kill one, then 7 mins back to repair and another 7 mins back out to do another, this is a crazy 'play to travel' ratio. Link the borg solo systems to a few hub systems dotted around the map and put very low travel times on these warp lanes to reduce overall travel time.

It's half the price of the 3 chest pull after they updated it. I don't know how it compares to the original 2 chest pull. I fear it was a bait and switch. Was it intentional that people would buy that prime last month, only use it for a few weeks, and have it wiped out already when they get the new ship? Thanks for confirming - there have been dozens of people reporting that their prime went away - obviously thats not the case, the whole vidar refine went away instead and was replaced with a better one. When I asked, I wanted scopely to simply tell us yes or no so it was solid and no confusion needed. This community has gotten too used to players doing all the legwork and investigating due to poor/slow communications, I am not blaming the CMs as I imagine they dont get answers in a timely manner from above in the company (where the real issue probably lies). Glad to hear it works still, but still an EASY resolution would have been an answer from the team yesterday when people started asking. Thanks @crisp dome for answering so quick today :). Another case - you have 3Mil and 5Mill trit requirements in arc missions, hundreds of people have asked if it was a mistake, not a single response from the company. Again, these are not complex questions, so an answer should not take so long from the source :). Thanks again for comin got my Ted talk. lol

I try not to complain too much, but over last 3 months my play time has been reduced. In the beginning it was ok because I was able to still complete events, but now there is too much. Scopely promised to reduce grind times. Yet every arc piles on more crap. Then we revert back to having to mindlessly grind probes again. Add to that new forms of these borg things and its even more grind. Add to that even more that a lot of times, arcs are flops in terms of being playable of fully functioning. New "features" are really just new problems.

I know this is a common theme in feedback. I'd ask you to get it together, Scopely, but I am afraid you're in too deep at this point.

I have apologised to my employer for my lack of attendance over the next couple of days and explained that despite Scopely's commitment to reducing daily grind, they are actually increasing it.

I was shocked at my employers response, which is unprintable here, but the upshot is that I forget the increasing grind and fall behind or I lose my job and Scopely get nothing more from me

scopely will only wake up when they run out of revenue. Before that, nothing will change in the ever worsening situation. Rate the game in the app store, don't buy the packs from them anymore. Meanwhile, every crap is supposed to be paid for in order to mitigate things that scopely screwed up. The only thing that keeps me going is contact with the players. But I don't think I'll be playing the game much longer if scopely doesn't change its business practices.

Unfortunately, it looks like the arc is a disaster due to technical issues and one or two bad game design decisions. But there are also good points:
• Thanks for changing the Fleet Commander.
• The new ship will reduce the Borg grind. Good point 😊
Not so good points:
• Launch - No updates in iOS store and again a release with new bugs (see your announcement channel). Fortunately, you fix them soon.
• Events broken / not playable (Strength is irrelevant, Plunders of War). In general, it looks like that the milestones of all events are too high + pay2win in “Strength is irrelevant” event.
• Missions contain endless mining (3m Trit + 5m Trit in another mission)
• New ship, which is worse than the old one. I will explain this in detail. in a second post (line limits...)

The new Ship is a great idea, but you have to change the design asap. In the best way before the armada events start. Here my points:
• Exocomp: You get an exo from a solo armada and do a group armada afterwards. I love the idea, but it won’t work. To do the new armada you need 6 players with an active (1h) Exocomp. Take in mind the game is our hobby and the job. Even for big alliances it will be difficult to organize this. While playing the game you get always “disturb” by a job call or by you family 😉. Please remove the Execomp. You should get the damage reduction by “just” using the new ship.
• The Refinery is not good!! The currencies and the rep are fine, but the Nano refinery needs a review! Small disclaimer: I have all Borg primes (see Screenshot)

Let’s start with active Nanos:
In the old refinery I got 9.6k active Nanos for 155k inactive Nanos (with prime, 2 chest.). This means I had a change rate from 16.15 inactive to 1 active Nano. In time when I do not need many Nanos I could refine just one chest (4.8k active for 28k inactive -> 5.8 to 1).
The new refinery (Talios Tier 3) I miss the cheap one chest option. Instead, I have an option for one chest (7.455 for 132.600 -> 17.79 to 1) or for two chest (14.910 for 331.500 -> 22,23 to 1).
--> Please improve the refinery or give me the old one (ViDar) back !!!!!

Next one charged Nanos:
Here I won’t go into details regarding the refinery rate. I just want to talk about the number of chests I can refine per day. In the last arc you added an option to the old ViDar refinery to refine 3 chests per day, which was a great option. In the new refinery I can refine only 2 chests per day. It feels like you stole my great old ViDar refinery and gave me a second class incomplete Talios refinery. The worse one is I am the idiot who spent money for the disaster.
Please change it. If I spent money on this game, I do not want to feel like an idiot.

I'm seeing this sentiment daily now in a lot of alliances and different servers. The game continues to decline with more and more being added to complete every day so that casual players just can't do anything to enjoy the game any more and the spenders are starting to feel like they're wasting their time. When whales get bored either the server suffers a rogue or they just quit and walk away.

They did that because they know folks blew threw a bunch yesterday. They also halved the milestones for todays event. It's clear they want people to stack max mitigation (pmc) to complete and punch up and not worry about nanoprobes. The SMS event is clearly not meant for collecting nanoprobes and the runs should be bascailly considered "throw aways" for the sake of probes per run efficiency

look, talios is garbage. considering the repair cost, new grind, new level of hostiles… It cannot even grind the same amount of inert probes from a level 33 system as the vidar without invictus. considering the fact they the road map was to reduce grind, the 1M trit repair cost, etc, it should be able to get at least 500K inert probes from a lvl 33 system, same as a vidar at lvl 45! As it stands right now, it is trash.
