I know that Scopely are meant to be working on a fix for the issues with the Field Training Missions but a daily update would be nice. Ive worked with Networking and Servers for 17 years and I had to do a small update every day, just so the client (us) was always up to date. Would be nice if you could do that Scopely.

Yes, as TOS Kirk Captain ability (and Zhou OA) is entirely dependent on stats. Please see this handy demonstration:

Summary; crew good for good outcomes. Crew bad for bad outcomes.

One hits like a… well crewed Realta. The other hits like a pool noodle.

As you can see… below decks makes a massive difference to officers who are stat based.

My advice; take the direction from two people now. You lost because your stats aren’t there to back up the abilities, yes, situationally the strike teams can be quite overbearing and require far less thought to be able to use them, but they can be beaten and beaten easily by using the right crew for the right job. And not to mention, doing your stat-based research will help you in every aspect of the game, from needing less below decks to max ship bonuses through to making ATA successes far easier.

I disagree on your stat based researches. The below screenshot is from a notorious under researcher and F2Per on our server who was Ops 41 at the time:

Just to point that I'm quite frustrated despite the fact that I won the Jadzia SLB. Pairing me level on level 42 against level 45 which are trigger happy to go 46 is beyond any logic. Time spent and/or money invested between them and myself is immense. Not to mention that bracket is twice bigger then it was for a long time before. Instead of XLSB we got double bracket leaderboard & pointless SMS.

I'm not ftp and my spending is a pack every couple of months but for ftp players, how are they supposed to compete with spenders who now have the hull favours, the hull, shield and mitigation bonuses from the armoury and now the 350% to hull and shield from the new primes?

I get that everyone should go at their own pace and spend however much they want but the gap between spenders and non spenders has grown too wide and now the game is basically punishing people for not spending

Another example of punishing ftp players is the treasury where ftp players get laughable amounts of all the mats and resources the spenders get in their treasury. I was shocked at the amounts in my ftp alliance mates treasury he got to unlock for free

I’m conscious of the fact that I rarely give positive feedback (I’m English so prefer to moan🤷) but I’d like to say the improvements to alliance helps has been great, there are also other good improvements lately, can we please do something about the officer recruit turn in? I’ve just spent nearly 45 mins turning in 6 chests at a time….much as I know it seems a small issue it’s one that my rsi doesn’t appreciate 😂, also on the subject of leaderboards I feel the brackets need looking at, I have members of my alliance competing with players 10/15+ levels above them, in most leaderboards this makes competing impossible

For the turas you can park a ship in the low level augment systems and you’ll eventually get them

The turas is not the problem, the orion corvette is. I have no clue where to grind its blueprints I tried all kinds of low level hostiles... and nothing. I did grind level 3-10 systems with over 100 chests and not a single blueprint. compared to turas out of 100 chests I get at least 5 Turas if not up to 15 Turas Blueprints

So i just had a moment to sit down and look at today's events. Who in the world thought up this Kira's favor #1 event? I have to kill 40 level 46 worms to complete, and my aug can only do 6-7 on a hull. On top of that, everyone seems to be going for the explorer worms. This event is awful. We don't need more difficult grinding, we need fewer. Why is scopley not getting that?

I think all of the T1 ships come from about level 10-16 systems, and shouldn't take too long to grind out. It's been a while, but I grinded them out for base defense reasons a while back

Dear Scopely, feedback about STFC:

1. The story mode of the game is fun, the PVP and community are significantly less fun. There is heavy bullying and harassment, which is painful for me at a personal level. Please make a story-only option.
2. If not possible, create an item in-store or something that allows for the player to never get attacked while mining please. Perhaps a one-time purchase item that a player can buy that protects them from attacks while mining (exceptions may be during an event or after x number of minutes/hours that a ship is on a mining node after it runs dry). Not sure this is really necessary since there's lots and lots of nodes to mine. That fact though makes it sting worse every time someone attacks while mining irrespective of how full a ship is.
3. Monitor gameplay chatter better please. Hurtful language and words are rampant. Hiding assumed curse words with asterisks is insufficient.
4. When an alliance leader quits and a new one is randomly assigned, please make it more clear for all folks who the new admiral is, including the admiral themself.

This game has been a very negative experience based 100% on the server I landed in. Likely just my luck, but also, enough for me to view Scopely negatively. This is the second Scopely game I've played, Yahtzee being first. In Yahtzee, predators praying on vulnerable individuals were rampant (often telling people to disclose their sensitive PII). Here, there's highly toxic individuals and an unsupportive gaming environment. Star Trek was about exploring and building new worlds/solving problems. STFC feels more like targets attacks tearing people down. Diametric opposites if you ask me, but purely my opinions and perspective. I think you make decent games, but I think your in-game communities greatly need more attention.

I do appreciate you generating such engaging content so please align your in-game community moderation better.

Love the POTM event - the hostile grinding scoring levels the event for spending and F2P. However, I don’t feel auto grinding should count towards scoring. Count only hostiles players attack sure, but when guys can park four or five ships to auto grind in faction space all night it kinda feels diminished.

The 2000 hostile kill rule is really making me angry!!! There are a lot of events for killing hostiles plus I need to collect from several different types of hostiles. I was incredibly excited for this contest and put almost an hour of effort into submitting a meme. Maybe a showcase would have been a good idea? Because now I feel stupid and won't ever participate in a meme contest again. We suffered through days of a broken banner and about half of the finalists you chose are horrendously unfunny and lack creativity. Memetics is an artform. Image macros are not the only kind of meme.

Some you selected are absolutely fantastic choices, and I hope they win. I'm not mad mine wasn't there, I'm disappointed that the curating of finalists was phoned in. When weighed against the anxiety this glitched caused players, and the effort we put into turning that pain into humor, these selections are lacking. People do have lives outside of stfc, such as Work. ~1600 kills is from 5 ships in augment. I don’t have time to manually grind until the evening. The limit is harming players, and you’re advocating for it to stay. 🤯

If I were to prioritize I would be losing out on ~1m points a day. I can’t grind hostiles due to work, and if I don’t autofarm I’ll fall behind.

It sucks that Scopely limits you on how many hostiles that you can get loot from. You use a token to go to borg space kill a bunch of probes to get the nanoprobes to refine to up grade your ViDar and they say sorry you have killed to many hostiles so you don't get the nanoprobes. That is total bs.

PVP level range is further broken with the new researches/ships. This is a big quality of life fix needed for the game.

Lvl 50 hitting lvl 33 makes no sense. (17 levels)

With the mantis, I have been hitting the ship kill count daily now. Heck, my t3 mantis with +cargo crew is over 50k per run. At about 100 per hit, that is almost 500 per run off explorers. Even off interceptors. That is still almost 100 assuming I could get all them everytime. Add in 100 borg per run and almost that per jem hardar and you are already way over half the limit.

You need to drastically up the loot drops on for borg, mantis and Jem Hardar or the kills per day. I prefer the cargo because it is taking 5+ hours of killing per day just to finish them and that is not counting faction grinding which I have basically had to cut out.

Since we have to submit a ticket - is there anyway we can get an extension to the timer for how/when we claim the treasury? For example, if I claim this treasury, I may be tempted to use the Ketracel to get more Dukat shards, but I won't use that Ketracel if I can't get the treasury opened in time. If you send it after it’s closed they won’t do anything. If you sent it before it closed they can give it to you. If it’s already over. Same goes with other events. They can give points after its over and any remaining rewards will be given

The fix for field training worked for me (except the research one for the orion corvette which has already been discussed) BUT for some of my alliance mates, the fix didn't work at all, maybe have another look at it? No challenge got autocompleted or upgrading another ship doesn't work, they all updated their game and tried deleting the local cache to no avail.

It’s a PvP game, and many servers have their own Rules of Engagement that include permitting hits where cargo can be stolen.

Recall your ships before going over protected cargo, empty them, and head back out usually keeps you under thieves radars 🙂

I'm doing this Mantis grind for few days now and it takes a looooong time. Systems are constantly full, keeping the bonuses up always, then chasing just few APEX spawns. Ship is slow and it seems like always I have to haul it across whole system....

Battleships are slow by nature but the mantis has its own research to increase impulse speed. It will get quicker over time. Thankfully there are now 3 apex per system and not just one.

The game is completely unplayable this morning. It hasn't been this bad since right after that horrific breaking of the game a couple months ago. If it's not straight up crashing, I get spinning circles on every button, hostiles take 30 seconds to kill, if I can even get my ship to engage them, which takes another 15-20 seconds of spinning circle before it starts moving towards it. I am literally unable to do anything in game without it freezing or crashing.

I've wasted 20+ minutes of Cerritos support only being to kill 5 hostiles. When it shows me my away teams, instead of telling me the shuttle bay is available at level 8 (I'm level 52), it's showing me completed missions I claimed 5 minutes before, and then tells me there's an error.

I've restarted my device and my router. Everything is up to date.

I have to assume this is because of this new, faster, less laggy battle engine. Like everything else you guys roll out after extensive testing, it doesn't work when it's live.

Between the never ending bugs, and the mediocre content, I get a little closer to quitting every day.

The DS9 art is nowhere near as good as the older stuff. You guys broke from cannon with TNG, it's all been disappointing since.

I did, but for some reason it was not logged in on my pc, so when the guy "testing" stfc on the pc created a new account, when I went to sync my ios to the pc via my scopley account, it asked if I wanted to overwrite my current progress... apparently I answered incorrectly. It removed my lvlv 44 account and replaced it with his lvl 7 account.

So Alliance starbases feel almost like a waste. As an Operative I can't interact with it in any meaningful way, the only contribution I make is passively opening armada chests and the assault function was locked behind a £90 paywall, not being funny but its almost Christmas, if Im throwing £90 at anything it's presents or food for the family not whatever this event was supposed to be.
The ASB needs improvements to how it functions in an Alliance so that all members feel like they're contributing in a impactful and meaningful way. Maybe something similar to Away teams where members can contribute ships/crew to ongoing assignments that reward resources/ASB materials based on contribution level?.

ASB looting is just madness. So it turns out if you fail an assault but you do 50% of HP damage you get 50% of the over-protected loot.
The notice explaining this was posted 4 HOURS ago.

Do the same looting mechanic to steal a player's starbase or miner and the riot fire would be visible from space.

Customer avoidance techniques haven't changed... When we first introduced customer service directories in call centers we found reps would tell customers they picked the wrong option and then transfer them back to the start (when they really hadn't). We had to start firing customer service personel who were doing it to pad their stats. Nice to see in the internet age nothing has changed. The only thing that has changed is that after waiting 5 days for the rep, when they avoid the ticket, then Tribbleshoot closes the ticket in 30min if you haven't typed. No email, no notice, no way to know that's what happened. That's shameful.

It takes so long to get help most times. Anything time sensitive does not happen.

There is no way to know help has gotten back to you, unless you keep checking the help chat. They add pips everywhere but the one most important spot.

Most tickets get closed before you can talk to anyone. The automated system is a joke. Get told: The fix is in the works or there is nothing that can be done good bye. You lose please buy a pack. Joke.

What good are ticket numbers if there is no way to input the ticket number to access the help across multiple devices. You get locked out of your account good luck keeping the chat going. Total joke.

That does not always work. Like attack notifications. If they respond over night or while I am not on the game I have seen the banner if it is not lost in armada notifications. Then not every time but some. But while playing or on the phone I don’t get help banner. I have checked help before and seen it has popped up while playing. Other times I notice the ticket was closed days ago and I never knew they got back to me.

The new starbase assault is flawed.

-The timer being so short basically means that your entire alliance has to hive up in the system with the base to have any chance of defending.

• Just like base raiding there is very very little balance to the entire affair. These things are basically an armada combined with a base raid meaning there is already very little protection for smaller players/alliances.

• The lvl restrictions (as small as they may be) actually work against alliances with smaller players. When their starbase is assaulted by a larger team they have members that literally cannot participate in the defense because of level restrictions. This means that smaller alliances are at a critical disadvantage when attempting to defend, unlike a base raid where the level of the base being defended, helps determine the real benefit/interest of those big players often times or in territory capture where there is no level restrictions allowing all teams to leverage their full strength based on participation. Starbase assaults are unfair to smaller alliances.

• The protected amount for plasma is extremely small, and difficult to determine. Plasma can't be bought, or earned in events. You only get it from mining, which is a dangerous activity as we all know. The amount lost in a single assault compounds with the balance issues to result in a situations where smaller alliances are at a massive disadvantage to even try and grow their star bases at all.

• The mechanic that prevents the starbase from being upgraded unless it's deployed makes no sense.The requirement to have a starbase deployed while mining and upgrading puts the base in danger basically at all times. Does Scopay remember when the game first came out and shields were, pay only? That was dumb and so is this. If it cant be upgraded unless its deployed gives us shields that keep us from mining.

And vaults not working properly is just an extra kick in the teeth.

(ASB is level 2) and as a suggestion please add a way for us to not only navigate these logs easier but have a way to defend the star base by at least stationing a few ships members of the alliance don't use as the star base's defense fleet

We had a TC today with only one alliance challenging us and all players from around the country and all different platforms that you can play all experiencing serious lag and regular crashing. That is ridiculous that the Scopely servers cannot handle the bare minimum of a territory challenge of just 2 alliances battling. That roadmap means absolutely nothing if you continue to refuse to acknowledge and repair the basic mechanics of this game.

My thought of the day is add desealing rods to the Event Store. If they have the goods to buy. Why don’t you add them. For example. • and i have read the new Roadmap and i didnot see the most important point --> appropriate fighting system
  let me explain: for pve fights you fight one by one, at pvp it is just the same, if anyone else is fighting my pvptarget i cannot attack.
  though the whole fighting system is serial, for pvp should it be a parallel system ( and it doesnt disturb in PVE)
  today me and my ally tried to defend a raid to one of our memberbases, but we couldnt stop the enemyplayer(LVL55) the refreshrate of is
  shield was faster then i was able to repair and send back my ships. our strongest player is lvl44 and he only damaged the shield.
  if its not possible for me as lvl39 player (mayby together with some other players) to breakdown a bigger player in a longer period of time
  then the pvp system isnt worth to be used

• and the system who shows the strenghts(power) at arround lvl 25+ is sensless to look at it. weaponpower, hull and shield combined with

Assaults are a terrible mechanic. The only defense is to not deploy your Starbase. Don't deploy, can't mine plasma. Deploy to mine plasma and not a top 3 alliance, but get attacked by a top 3 alliance, you're screwed. 0 recourse. At least you provide the “under attack” notification well after the ship is dead; that’s a super convenient notification. Here’s a suggestion - place the “clear cache” button on the Home Screen; don’t make me go from screen to screen in the settings to reach it - I use that function more than almost anything else. We were talking about this in my alliance the other day. A lvl53 hit my base (I’m ops 35) and cracked it in one hit with a SURVEY and took about 14M rss in one go (he was using a lvl10 Nova).

Note: This was with 4 ships at home (averaging well over 1M strength with full-synergy Kras on my lvl40 Bortas).

When a player’s survey ship is comparable in strength to another player’s base + warships, that doesn’t seem fair at all, does it? He doesn’t even need to use a warship to crack me. He can skip straight to taking loot. The PvP level range could definitely use some adjusting IMHO.

So, the recent changes to the battle engine, while mostly good, did "fix" some well-understood mechanics in the game that many players would use in certain situations. Most obviously, the baby jellyfish's Ship Ability is now far less effective.

Understood that this is a "bug fix", and that the mechanic of the ability is now consistent with what's displayed on the tooltip. That's understandable, I suppose.

Now, a lot of the use that a middleweight player might have for a g3 jellyfish (or two) is during active base defense. The ships ability allowed for clever deployment of captain manuvers to help prevent one-shot-kills of a base by much higher g5 ships. This wouldn't make one invincible, just might give you enough time to repair before you get scooped, if you're actively staring at the screen. Many of these tricks don't work anymore.

Which wouldn't be nearly so bad if the very same players who this defense might help against, are also, in their bases, simultaneously rendered untargetable if they have all 8 drydocks.

So, fix a bug that helps regular players repel the big fish, while introducing a bug that makes the bases of big fish untargetable.

I'm not the sort to complain about the game being "unfair", or whine about the power disparity between g4 and g5. It is what it is, unless you're that one guy, there will always be someone more powerful - this is the game, anyone playing for any length of time accepts and or embraces that.

But to cripple defensive tactics for the mid 40's and below, while simultaneously offering what amounts to a base invincibility portion for 49 and up - is super profoundly backwards.
G5-class players don't need any further advantages against those of us in the moderately-priced seats.

It's quite imperative that the base-targeting glitch be fixed immediately.

My understanding was literally the opposite of this. That the tooltip has stayed the same, but now the mechanic is actually as stated - and before the recent battle engine update, the ability was actually more effective than it indicated.

And that's what my experience has been. I didn't read a change and start saying the 'sky is falling' - I experienced a change, things not working that used to work, and went to figure out what had happened.

The battle engine update wouldn't have changed the tooltip, the text strings shown on screen are completely disconnected from the engine.

Please adjust targetting. It was much better about a year ago. I understand it's a pain to be unable to target a base under a pile of ships, but could you at least reduce the range a base is auto-targetted? And, secondarily, make the selection arrows work more consistently?
Contested raiding is IMO the best PvP in the game, by far, but it's ruined when if you try to target anything in the battle area, you auto-target a base, or even the planet, when you don't click anywhere close. And trying to adjust to your preferred target with the arrows is clunky and inconsistent

The whole reason people will invest in stuff will be to see the differences in the leaderboards, to feel a sense of achievement when their alliance grows, etc. Well there is no such thing when the leaderboards are completely broken. The 20th alliance is shown as 5th, the 1st as 2nd, the 3rd as 1st by 200 mil (!), etc. This has to be fixed.

Why we have such a big diffrence between the StrikeTeams. Laan and Dukat create in synergy with the officers with 100 percent burning or hull breach for the whole battle.
Weyoun creates morale only for 8 rounds. If you cannot beat the enemy in this time, all crew effects end and you sure lost the battle. This makes no sense.
The Argument from Revs video, that you can use the crew for other things, is not convincting. If the crew not does, what they are made for, its a waste of Ressources. So please adjust this.

@tacit obsidian @royal solar Problem #2 with the game: Raid notifications. This is a game where you can be raided at any moment. Every game of this kind has notifications. It is unacceptable for the game notifications not to work properly. And before people say shield or share, if i am next to the phone at any given moment, i should be able to trust in the notifications so i can get online if needed rather than having to soend shields like water because a game mechanic isnt working.

Notifications rely on a third party mechanism in APNS, and potentially FCM (although I’ve not explored the Android configuration). In short, even if Scopely were bulletproof on it, it could still fail for reasons outside of their control; never rely on it 🙂

There’s an option to turn them off, I have as I don’t trust it. I get notification issues fairly regularly with a load of apps, but that’s probably because Apple like messing around with new features (fun one the other day, they introduced a setting that screens all calls when you’re “driving” unless they’re from a favourite; or if you change the setting).

I have to say incursions is far better then this stupid poorly executed starbase assault. At least incursions small alliances and players still have a chance to do something. This starbase assault is done just like a armada when it shouldn’t be. The only way to defend it is to click attack each and every ship one by one. This is a straight up bully system since low lvl alliances and players can’t beat whales and since most the whales are in whale alliances it’s impossible. You claim fun for all but in truth you cater to the whales building more and more ways for whales to bully low lvl players and small alliances. This system needs to be fixed and addressed. The in game bullying system is why many new players quit.

OPS 45, i know that event store issue. You usually get way less RSS and Mats, but it was never that big of an issue. Kept my Valdore at T4, so its not that expensive to repair.
Actually working towards the Pilum and it kinda scares me to think about the Trit when i got it. Issue is, at some point my dailies and everyday business will get effected. I already dont use it to PVP anymore, also not for Assaults and even try to be cheaper on armadas.
Its not a small term issue like one event store long.

What is the sense of the merger from 151 and 143 ? I am sure nobody ask for it... 151 has 400+ active player right now thats a healthy population....

So we get a merger with 143 and then there will be around 600 to 700+ active player. I gave myself 12 hours to cool off before posting this. After spending weeks accruing rare armada credits, I cash in 130,000 for one 4* Rare Armada Pack, disappointing does not even come close to describing the payout, one epic officer, just one! Less Officer XP than killing some hostiles! 10 epic armada credits, so I need to do this 50 times for 1 epic armada! Faction credits are similar to what I get daily in the Borg store. The fact we have to buy these for the Rare Armada Tactical Cores is appalling. How is this supposed to help if we want to progress in the game? This is just one disappointment of an ever-growing list, why does buying 2 things cost x5 as much? At Ops Lvl 42, I have completed nearly all research for ship components/research/repair cost and speed, so why do ships need such large quantities of resources to tier up, my LVL 20 Valdore currently needs 35,351 uncommon ship parts to tier up, which is reliant on the refinery where I feel lucky if I get uncommon ship parts and costs 34.4m tritanium to repair, this when I can only collect 250k from the generators, granted I could research generators, but why, they are completely useless and offer no benefit and the resource are better used elsewhere. If you want us to keep p(l)aying then you need to give us a reward commensurate with the time and effort all players invest in this game. That's enough of me complaining, I used to buy packs from the store, but not many as £90 is the same amount I spend on food shopping for a week. I will not spend £1000s to progress in a game. Especially when that game doesn't give back. Don't forget everyone when the servers are turned off you wont get a refund. @tacit obsidian

Game Crashes and timed outs are Scopley Server Opportunities for cleanup. Scopley Support has been sent multiple tickets during the DS9 Arc events as well as past Themed Arc Events and has yet to clean up their Servers so players can enjoy playing the game. It would be unfortunate, should Scopley Support to continue to ignore the opportunity to address and correct the gameplay concern expressed by many players.

I also agree with previous comments on non-linear scaling of refineries/stores mostly due to confusing way a lot of them are set. For example if refineries are non-linear & gamble type and stores are linear and fixed, this would make some logic. Why there is every possible combination of these 4, I don't understand. Further more refineries and stores have wide range of time requirements which are also not consistent.
And while on this topic doing once a day refines now actually requires significant time to complete as well.

To get a second Stella for free, you would need to do things like spending event trophies in the current event. You can get your first one for free but it's a hell of a grind and hard to do but once you have a Stella built that free option goes away

Biggest disappointment for me in 2022 in this game: is the Strike team. This is why I don't like the strike team,it's ridiculous overpowering the other officers in the game,it destroys the triangle between the ships. I have said this many times,feedbacks are never be read it. Example: My Enterprise max out with anti-interceptor crew and critical(Kang tier 4, TOS Uhuru tier 4- TOS Kirk tier 4), losing the fight against D4 not max with strike team.This is not right. There are so many more such examples. Definitely the battleship strike team is out of balance. I play this game 3 years, grinding hard for the officers and ships, technology and so on. Worked on the Enterprise for more than 1 year.With the strike team all is for nothing. Especially in Base raiding, TC and PvP events.Feels not right and it's not right. I am angry about it.Scopely makes more packages for strike team, that is for me real slap in the face. In the past 3 years I have invested many hundreds of hours in getting officers, ships and technology in this game. Scopely, in less than 6 month destroy all the hard work in dust. why should you invest in other things in the game? Scopely can undo your progress at any moment, and will do it again. What is the point?. Scopely seriously damaged trust.Without trust there is no foundation on which you can continue. The resource for the Strike team officers is still extremely bad after more than 6 months. Scopely has not only changed an important core part of the game. But also a deep gap between players, who was willing to dig deep into their pockets to get Strike, who was very lucky and who didn't fall by the wayside at all. And this gap is not good for the game. Causes unnecessary tension. If you don't have the Strike team, there's no point in starting PvP if your enemy does, there's no counter possibility whatsoever. Hopefully this injustice will be undone in 2023, but the chances of that are zero. Scopely don't care at all, that makes it all more frustrating

Small-ish QOL Feature Request: In the rogue faction store, implement the "eye" icon which will then show the chest claims displayed for the Uncommon, Rare and Epic Uranium chests. When it's on cooldown, it's harder to work out what's needed without remembering the chest sizes / costs and scrolling through many currencies to find current inventory levels.

First, thanks for 2022. As a player I’m not always happy with the content but in the end you maintain a good game with a great community.
I have feedback to the assaults:

1. Translation. In German the assaults are called “Angriff” (attack) and the Dominion is called “Vorherrschaft”. From a translation perspective it is correct but sounds wrong for me as a German is sounds wrong. Even in the DS9 TV show the Dominion was the Dominion. They never translate this word. I have the feeling your translation service translates your scripts but does not know the (Star Trek) content. Proper names, like Dominion (or Assault), should not be translated.
2. Sorry to say it as it is: Assaults are a disaster. The idea is great, but unfortunately the implementation needs some improvements:
   a. First rewards: As an alliance we can steal plasma. Not extremely exciting. My alliance has enough plasma. We need speedups 😉
   b. Fire pattern: a starbase kills the smallest ship in the first round. Afterwards is a weak target which could be defeated by three 4* ships. Change it. A starbase should have a similar fire pattern as an epic FKR armada target.
   c. Only four players: At the moment only four player can participate, increase it. Why not 10? In the best way one ship per alliance member (e.g. if you alliance could have 85 players allow 85 ships).
   d. Defense is not possible/no fun. If your starbase is attacked, you have 10 min to attack the players in the Assault circle. Puh okay but not perfect. Here are my ideas: First “Defense patrol”. As an alliance member I can send ship to protect my starbase. Based on the level of starbase building this number can be increased. Let’s say you start with 5 ships. The ships are docked to the starbase (could not be attacked directly) and fight together with the starbase against the attacker.
   I hope you improve the Assaults. In the current implementation I do not see any reason to do an assault…

Fix this junk. You can’t defend against a whale attacking and since they get millions per attack they never have to put a base out. You can’t cloak when you attack one so a whale kills you so… thanks for the mechanic already favoring hugely overpowered players

Starbase assaults are a trash idea with trash mechanics only put into the game to give the griefing whales something else to do. I just leveled ops from 35 to 36 and I’m completely dumbfounded at Scopely’s progression philosophy. For example, I had been able to get 2 Bajoran Badge chests of 93 each at a cost of 980 Antimatter Units. Now at ops 36, I can get 2 chests of 94 badges, ONLY ONE MORE (a 1% increase) THAN BEFORE, at a cost of 1,300 Antimatter Units (a 33% increase in cost)!!!! WTH?!

Also, the Actian buffs need to be visible (with numerical timers) on the ship tab that pops up on the bottom left when the ship is selected. Having to “manage” the ship to see the timers (without times) is dumb. If I’m chasing an Apex 43s across the system, I should be able to see if a buff is going to run out by then. Now i can only guess and it could run out with 41s etc…

So a level 57 alliance has attacked and drained our level 27 alliance Starbase. We now have an object lesson that has made our players comfortable with the idea to never deploy the object again. Good job Scopely!

I wonder if they gave any thought to how a bunch of level 30 players would feel watching a bunch of level 57s and 60s take everything they have. Even the ones that spend money all the time. It's a sickening feeling. You are being violated with absolutely no ability to do anything other than watch as they crush you. The battlelog says they defeated our station in two rounds. They used three vessels a Sanctus, a Pilum, and a Valdore. They lost one. They defended their attack with 10 additional vessels that did not even bother participating. Not that we were going to fight back against 57 plus vessels. That's not a feature of a game, it's more a deliberately engineered form of emotional abuse to try to manipulate people to spend more money. It's not having that effect, though. More along the lines of "I hate PvP" , " I'll never use that feature again." , "This game is so stupid.", "Why do I still play?", " I can't believe I paid money for this."
