Hey Hey.. Will there be a Feature where the ticket system can ask the user certain predefined questions before the ticket is getting opened? It would be pretty nice if the user can give important questions so our support team doesnt have to ask
you could just input them into the ticket message
or use tags

if you have premium, you could just remove the number from the ticket name automatically
The ticket name is the default channel name of all tickets. To edit it, go to your Dashboard > Panel Configs > Settings > Ticket Options. There you can edit the channel name of opened and closed tickets. You can also use variables in there.

You can have TT automatically close/delete the ticket is a user leaves the server in the middle of their ticket
you can also have TT immediately delete the ticket once you close
otherwise, there's not much automation for those
There's currently no ETA for when automation will be enabled again. The issue that's caused it to be disabled, us hitting rate limits, is tied to the increased load on Discord's servers. The situation's currently unpredictable, which makes it so we can't give you a fixed time.

Hi Guys, i'm trying to set up ticketbot on a server, but on my tickettool dashboard it keeps saying i don't have any servers to manage, even after logging out & in several times. (And yes, I've got root & server admin on the server, which the bot has been added to). Is there an obvious step i'm missing?

You will possibly need to relog. Look below to see steps on how to relog.
First, you will need to go to the dashboard. Once your there, click on your avatar on the top right. after you clicked it, you will see button that says Logout. You must click that. Once you have logged out, you can log back in.
You need one of these 3 things to access the dashboard.
1. Server Owner (Level: 6)
2. Server Administrator (Level: 4)
3. Dashboard Role (Level: 2)
You can check your level using $level on your Discord Server

No. 😦 We're trying to work out why the bot thinks i'm still level 0. I had permissions to add the bot in the first place, but now it's convinced i'm level 0. Our admin is showing as level 6 though
That Level 6 admin is the server owner. And even though you can add the bot having the Manage Server permission it won't let you manage it

There's no command for that. You need to add them through the Dashboard.
You can do so by copy pasting the Emoji ID in the field you want.
You can get the Emoji ID from using the ID command
$idcommand
Ticket Tool has a useful command that helps you get the ID of various things like channels, roles, emojis and your server.
Just use the command $id <#channel/@role/:emoji:>. Now copy everything, including the brackets <...>, to your dashboard (or wherever you want it)
If you want the server ID, just use $id.

It is a premium feature called multipanels, more information on that below
For a more convenient use of multipanels, you can now combine panels on the dashboard. This will allow you to directly send the multipanel from the dashboard or via the $panel ID command.
You can find this setting on the Dashboard -> Panel Configs -> Settings -> General Options
Note: if you're attaching all the panels to a panel called English, don't include English in the attached panels box (If you do this, it will create duplicate)
This will put all buttons from all of your panels on one message. The message is the panel message from the panel you're combining these panels in.

Any role you assign as a blacklisted role won't be able to use commands or reactions.
Go to your Dashboard -> Server Configs. There you will find the option to select blacklisted roles.
Note: Don't forget to save.

@jade topaz I just checked, and actually you can have a hyperlink in the Author or Title section. You just add the text to the Author name or Title section, and add the URL in the sections which says URL.
But for a field you add there's only title and message, so you can use the method I mentioned above in the field's body

Tags are used to send a predefined response to your channels using a command. Tags will only respond if the command itself is used, it will not function if you put the tag into a sentence. The prefix is not included.
To create tags, go to: Dashboard > Tags > Create Tag. After creating and naming one, tap on the response button, and you can edit the response.

im trying to create new roles on my discord and give them permissions to help with the ticket bot. but im unable to get them to view it im not sure where i havent looked. ive been on the dashboard nothing there. and ive been on discord nothing that stands out to me. how do i give a role permission to view tickets the bot creates?
A support role lets your support team see into tickets with out having to add them manually to each and every ticket.
You can add as many support roles as you like per panel.
NOTE that the way discord works all admins can see into tickets regardless of this.

What are the limits to tickets? I made 2 tickets and got a warning saying tickets are being made too quickly. I plan to use these tickets for NFT whitelisting, which is usually fast paced, so do I need premium to handle this?
While having the free bot you can do 10 tickets per minute
Now, that warning is that you are probably spam clicking the button and trying to create several tickets at once
This is the bot's way to prevent hitting rate limits

You can actually set it
There are two limits
The panel limit
$help limit
A ticket limit may be set per panel to prevent users from spamming tickets. By default this limit is set to 3. Once a user hits this limit the bot will notify the users that they reached the limit.
To set a ticket limit go to the Dashboard -> Panel Configs -> Settings -> General Options -> Ticket Limit

And the global limit, that is all the amount of tickets a user can have at the time in your server
Unlike the regular Ticket Limit, the global limit will limit the amount of tickets a user can create at the same time for ALL Panels. When a ticket is closed again, the limit resets for that user.
To customize it head over to your Dashboard --> Server Configs --> Global Ticket Limit
This is not a limit for how many tickets a user can open at all times or how many tickets you can have open on the server in total. This is just a limit per user for open tickets.

Yup, you can create as many tickets as you want, the only limit is Discord's channels per server limit, that allows each server to have only 500 channels

You will possibly need to relog. Look below to see steps on how to relog.
First, you will need to go to the dashboard. Once your there, click on your avatar on the top right. after you clicked it, you will see button that says Logout. You must click that. Once you have logged out, you can log back in.
You need one of these 3 things to access the dashboard.
1. Server Owner (Level: 6)
2. Server Administrator (Level: 4)
3. Dashboard Role (Level: 2)
You can check your level using $level on your Discord Server

rather than attempting to sync with a category, can set the permissions you want roles to have in newly created tickets under permission options of your panel configs
So I tried doing that but some of the permission options are missing.
My ideal scenario would be a mod would create a ticket for the supported user then grant him permission to view and interact the ticket thread. This is so we avoid tickets creation that aren't actually worth of escalation. Is there an alternative?

Alright then, you could make use of our command style ticket option. Have the bot monitor a staff only channel for commands, then run $new ID of the user in said channel, this will create a ticket for the user (I can explain in detail if required)

just set the channel to monitor for command... field to a channel viewable only to staff, then instruct your moderators to run $new userID whenever they want to create a ticket for a user

They cannot be edited or disabled, as they are a discord requirement that is set by the developer of any bot. The ephemeral messages can be removed by pressing the little blue Dismiss message text, or by restarting your discord client.

The panel message is where people react to make a ticket. To customize it head over to your Dashboard --> Panel Configs -> Settings -> Panel Options -> Edit Panel Message

we dont store them anywhere in the bot, or the website. It's all within your servers basically

To disable the premium bot you will have to go to the Dashboard -> Server Configs -> Premium bot -> And on the right-hand side select the primary free bot in the drop down menu.
Premium features will still work on the normal bot.

Not really.
You can either have the ticket ping a role or user once it opens, or you can set logs
I guess you could set logs and then have your notifications set to "all messages" but i guess that'd be shooting yourself in the foot, since you'd restrict yourself to only one type of log, unless you want to get spammed

Hello everyone, I'm trying to setup the bot in my communities discord server. I've got it all configured the way we'd like, except we've hit a snag... When a member creates a ticket, they and everyone else in the server can see their open ticket. I configured some more and I thought I resolved the issue, but now when they create a ticket, the user that created it cannot see it, thankfully nobody else can either! lol. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
