so the problem might be that you didn't actually select the premium bot
which means its not reacting to commands or reactions
The first thing you will need to do is invite the premium bot, an invite can be found here

It is because you have the 2 other reactions disabled from the dashboard
you have to enable them back up which will make them appear in new tickets

I'd like to limit ticket tools to just 2 categories, is that possible?
As in you only want tickets to go to specific categories? or do you want the bot to only appear in specific categories?
if the bot doesn't have administrator then you can use the View channels permission and make the bot only see the channels and categories you want.
won't that prevent it from creating new channels/tickets?
if you set the Category in which you want the tickets to be opened it to View Channels
then it will work
it just needs to see the channel where you have the panel
and the category where you want to make the tickets in
This makes no sense to me perms wise but if you say it works i believe you.

its because the bot automatically adds itself to the channels it creates

so the categories are just more or less visual?
categories are there for organisation
so you don't have tickets at the top of your server

You will possibly need to relog. Look below to see steps on how to relog.
First, you will need to go to the dashboard. Once your there, click on your avatar on the top right. after you clicked it, you will see button that says Logout. You must click that. Once you have logged out, you can log back in.
You need one of these 3 things to access the dashboard.
1. Server Owner (Level: 6)
2. Server Administrator (Level: 4)
3. Dashboard Role (Level: 2)
You can check your level using $level on your Discord Server

For you, it depends how you want it to work
we use an unverified role
and they are supposed to react to the embed to be verified
A simple way is to make a channel that the unverified role can see when they join, that only has in it the panel for the ticket. Once they make a ticket, you can verify them, and then they get a role that gives access to the whole server. But you cant do it automatically for reacting with this bot
You would need someone to see the ticket and manually give the role
(or remove the unverified role)

The View as Role discord feature will not work for testing ticket tool. Ticket Tool opens permissions with user permissions & not role permissions.

Any role you assign as a blacklisted role won't be able to use commands or reactions.
Go to your Dashboard -> Server Configs. There you will find the option to select blacklisted roles.
Note: Don't forget to save.

A ticket limit may be set per panel to prevent users from spamming tickets. By default this limit is set to 3. Once a user hits this limit the bot will notify the users that they reached the limit.

You can't have a global limit. Only a per person limit
oh i wanted a global limit otherwise it causes a flood of tickets on a server.
And that is per person per panel as well

Users can have a blacklist role when they are waiting to be helped so they can't open tickets. You can use a bot to remove / give the blacklist role to users.
It's a lot of work but only thing I can think of
But then again blacklist roles keep them from using the bot at all costs.
So, it's up to you.
This is a good idea but I think the ticket bot should then auto remove that blacklist role and also assign it.
If everyone tries to open a ticket at once, it won't work as there is a 500 channel limit anyway, but if you have that many you can't create more yourself
Basically, the idea would be the first x people who reacted, open the ticket. Once x is reached, the ticket bot would assign the blacklist role for new reactions. Once a ticket is closed, the next person in line would get their blacklist role removed.

Sometimes it can be sensitive and requires the perms even with administrative, try assigning it all perms (without administrative). If it does not work, please create a ticket in #🎫│make-a-ticket and provide your server ID + debug lonk.
Right now buttons are in beta, ticket tool is beta testing this as well and it is not default for servers as there are problems still occurring with buttons. Most bots are using them as well as they substitute for reactions.

First, you will need to go to the dashboard. Once your there, click on your avatar on the top right. after you clicked it, you will see button that says Logout. You must click that. Once you have logged out, you can log back in.
You need one of these 3 things to access the dashboard.
1. Server Owner (Level: 6)
2. Server Administrator (Level: 4)
3. Dashboard Role (Level: 2)
You can check your level using $level on your Discord Server

Yes, two ways. You can have the bot do it by default by using the directions in the message below, or use $add {roleid}

The first thing you will need to do is invite the premium bot, an invite can be found here
Once the bot is in your server we will head to the dashboard and manage your server. When you are managing your server, you want to head into "Server Configs" then click the drop down menu under "Select the bot you would like to use on this server" then click "Ticket Tool#6207" and then save.

Which part do you need help with specifically?
So the way it works, is that a panel is made that you react to, and a new channel is made called a ticket. This ticket is private, and can only be seen by a designated "support" team (you pick which roles this is) and the person who reacted. You can have a message automatically send when the ticket is opened, telling the user what to do
Tickets can be set up to be opened with a command as well, using $new, however this is not the default and needs to be enabled

So you are only logging saving transcripts currently. Try turning on Ticket created and opening a new ticket to see if that works

I believe that this is a discord bug. The owner of the server. Should be able to see everything. It could be your WiFi connection.

You can give permissions that are differnt to a support role. For example if you wanted people to be able to view a ticket but not message in it. Or when a ticket is claimed you want them to still have access but not the whole support team to have access you can use it there as well

i set up the ticket tool bot in my server and its only letting my staff members open and see tickets. i dont know if this was recently changed to where i have to change something in the dashboard to allow a role to open ticket

You simply click on the 📑 reaction. Yes, it may be time consuming depending on the amount of tickets you have open your server. You can also copy and paste the $transcript #transcript-channel-here command into the closed tickets if you wish.

Considering you have just been blacklisting and unblacklisting the default member role, thats why I could open a ticket and run the ping command once before you set the blacklist role back.
