I have the ticket bot on my server, and we have different ticket creation for different issues (General Support, Reporting an Issue and Requesting a role change). So far, only the General Support ticket option can be created by any member, but the other 2 keep saying that they don't have permission for it. I've looked on the console and it's only showing the General Support ticket creation as an option. How would I fix this?

Ohh, you do that you would need to use the dropdown feature
As well as adding an image URL inside messages -> Panel Message -> Embed Editor 1 -> Image Url
Note: Editing certain aspects of the panel message require a premium subscription
The Drop-down menu or Select Menu replaces the buttons on your panel message and uses a drop-down menu with all of your panels. To set this up, go to your Panel Configs and select your main Panel.
First you enable Select Style. Then you add an item in the Dropdown Editor. Now you can start editing your dropdown!
Each line in the dropdown editor represents a line in the drop down menu on discord. You can add more "Items", by clicking on 

First you select a panel. That's the panel this option will open a ticket for.
DONT select the same panel twice. Each option should have a different Panel 
After that, you can put a Display. This is the title of this option and will appear in the drop down menu. The *Description can be set right after that, which will be below the title in grey.
Additionally you can select an emoji, that will be shown in front of each option. You can either manually input the ID of an emoji or select it in the selector.
- Panel doesn't send? Make sure you have a valid emoji selected

Staff with access to the dashboard can change it whenever they want to, it could be that theyve temporarily closed tickets or something similar but there isn't a one time limit as such

Can anyone help? after a certain amount of time of inactivity (not sure the exact amount of time) the ticket gets moved to a "hidden" folder, which can still be accessed by staff (on desktop, not mobile) but is hidden to the user.
And then after a month in the "hidden" folder it is totally closed

Hello! Forgive me if this is a silly issue or unrelated to the tickettool bot. Recently someone on my server is having issues creating tickets after they had "followed" (like marked the ticket to always be seen) a previous ticket they created.
We believe that because we have it set up to only allow one ticket per person that the ticket tool is assuming they have a ticket open when it no longer exists.
Could I get some feedback on how to fix this?

hey im a relatively new to the scene discord mod and I'm trying to get some bots on my server. Ticket Bot is the one I'm currently trying to get setup but for some reason all commands result in red text saying "application isnt responding"
I think I'm all good with just saving transcripts but not re-open.
In that case you can hide the re-open button to get something like this

So open tickets that don't have anything said in them for a bit get moved to the 'hidden' folder (a collection of chats that only mods can see) in discord.
Is there a way to stop that so the tickets dont move to that hidden state?
when a ticket is created , this check just stays there not letting me create another ticket

i would have to restart my discord, or create another ticket for no reason to fix the issue

Thats a discord issue in that case not related to the ticket tool
No they first get hidden for the user (only visible for mods) and after sitting a while in the hidden folder they get closed
So when hidden a mod can still message in them to push it out of the hidden state
its been happening for days now
ticket system doesn’t reset or close that menu properly, the same selection stays active, and Discord blocks re-selecting it since it’s already “chosen’’

You can change the panel embed by going to panel -> messages -> Edit panel message -> Embed Editor 1
Note: Non-premium servers have a limit of 250 characters and can only partially edit the embed

which causes them to create the 2 tickets above for no reason just to get access to the other one thats glitched
When using the select menu (dropdown) to create tickets, the dropdown works correctly the first time. However, after closing and reopening it to create a new ticket, the previously selected option still shows a checkmark. Because of that, the bot does not allow re-selecting the same option or creating a new ticket. Only fix to this is creating one of the 2 tickets above for no reason ( to move the checkmark ) or by restarting discord to reset it

By default, the ticket owner is removed when it's closed, however server staff can change that by using Panel -> Permissions -> Ticket Owner Permissions - Closed -> View Channel ✅

Each item will need its own panel in order for the show in the dropdown

A panel will contain that information, but it'll have stuff like the categories, permissions, other messages, buttons etc. that are specific to that type of ticket

Not as of yet, I haven't had the time to fully debug this issue, but I plan to do a deep dive into this tomorrow.

That means that the category selected is full. If you're staff in that server you can either delete some tickets in there or set up an overflow category to fix the issue

Likely discord is pushing out a change to how they handle the dropdowns list and not all clients have it yet.. if that's the case it will likely become an issue in the future.
Resending it would fix it for anyone how has already created a ticket.
but they would have the issue the next ticket they create.

Found the issue, it's fixed
once someone creates a ticket the select menu will be reset for everyone else who had it stuck from the bug.
Unfortunately if you're not staff then there's nothing you can do to fix the issue other than try contact that servers staff by another means

Update: I contacted them again and they said it was an issue with the bot apparently , and they said not to make more tickets at the time as I have created an influx of tickets

from your screenshot it appears as it's related to custom commands, otherwise you wouldn't be able to get that kind of message in your dm's unless it's a transcript but that's not it, so my only conclusion is they have something wrong written inside the close reason variable or full embed in this command
to be perfectly clear, it's nothing wrong with the ticket tool bot
after some thoughts, my final answer is that they just incorrectly used the close reason variable

How do I set up a ticket bot for my serv?
First you will want to invite the bot to your server. Once the bot is in your server, you can manage your server in the dashboard.
To create a panel we are going to need to head over to the panel configs on the dashboard.
Once at the dashboard we will need to click Create Panel.
Enter a panel name (Fill in any optional settings you want).
Click Create Panel and your ready to get started with configuring your panel.
An example of a creating a panel is shown below.
Once you've created a panel on the dashboard you will need to send it to a channel using send on the dashboard.

if you don't have the role that allows you to create ticket or the configuration there (as above) is wrong, then creating ticket for this specific button (panel) won't work

Your role must be added into Server Configs -> Dashboard Roles or just have administrator permission / be the server owner

I wanted to create a ticket within each specific panel via dropdown, but the command creates it in a general panel...
The Drop-down menu or Select Menu replaces the buttons on your panel message and uses a drop-down menu with all of your panels. To set this up, go to your Panel Configs and select your main Panel.
First you enable Select Style. Then you add an item in the Dropdown Editor. Now you can start editing your dropdown!
Each line in the dropdown editor represents a line in the drop down menu on discord. You can add more "Items", by clicking on 

First you select a panel. That's the panel this option will open a ticket for.
DONT select the same panel twice. Each option should have a different Panel 
After that, you can put a Display. This is the title of this option and will appear in the drop down menu. The *Description can be set right after that, which will be below the title in grey.
Additionally you can select an emoji, that will be shown in front of each option. You can either manually input the ID of an emoji or select it in the selector.
- Panel doesn't send? Make sure you have a valid emoji selected
- Option doesn't show up? Check if two options have the same panel in the DropDown Editor

Hi, so this is my current issue
When my moderator create a ticket, does their ticket stuff, the ticket would then be closed. However, now the moderator that opened the ticket can't see the ticket, because the current setting is Ticket Owner can't see Closed ticket, but Support Team can see closed ticket. You can restrict the amount a user can open across all your panels by following these steps:

Secondarily you can also set a limit per panel, meaning that a single user can open a certain amount of tickets on the given panel. Note that the Global Limit takes precedence upon Panel Limit, to set the latter follow this procedure:

> 4. Save changes

Within all the messages the bot sends (both embeds and text) you can mention either channels, roles, or even users, these mentions will only send a notification to the user if they are used within a text field, e.g: a role mentioned in an embed won't ping at all the users who have that role.
For mentioning a role you can use one out of three options:

This depends upon which action the error is appearing, the most common cases are the Create Ticket button or one of your Dropdown emojis. You can visit your Button's List to find all available buttons and find the conflicting one by yourself.
- You selected an emoji that doesn't exist anymore, i.e. that has been deleted
- You wrote text there, instead of an emoji (or in addition to an emoji)
- You entered a code for a custom emoji from a server that the bot is not a member of
- You entered a custom emoji code incorrectly
- You're on iPhone and entered an emoji using the phone's emoji pad (use the emoji selector in the website instead)

So if you had 3 panels, you could add all 3 to the dropdown, you just cant use the same panel more than once

I have added the ticket tool to my server but I want it to ping some roles once the ticket has been opened can anyone help me?
1. Open your Panel Configs tab in your server's dashboard
2. Select the panel you want to ping your support team on
3. Open the Ticket options menu
4. Click on Edit Ticket Message
5. In the Message Content use one of the role mention syntax ({@Role Name}/{Role ID})
6. Save changes
Note: For this to work properly, Ticket Tool requires the Mention Everyone permission. Or the role must have the Allow anyone to @mention this role setting enabled

Please make sure the bot has permissions to view channel, send messages, embed links, read message history
if already has these in role, then probably the problem lies in perms in channel settings

- you're an admin/owner so this won't affect you,
they can't create the ticket because probably you did something in Panel Configs - Buttons - Edit Create Ticket Button - Allowed/Disabled Roles

You could try using the backup and restore feature?
The Backup and Restore feature allows you to transfer your panels, tags, and all settings to a new server, even if the server the settings were created has been deleted! You will want to copy the whole key.
First, go to your server's Dashboard ➞ then Server Configs ➞ under Config Backup & Restore (Server Owner Only) click on Old version can be found here and generate a new backup key by pressing the green button. Now, a key should be generated in the box above. You may need to refresh the page to see this.
Once you have your backup key, navigate to the same page on the new server. Copy the key on the Restore from backup key field.
Now you can choose what you want to copy. Finally, press the green Restore Configs button.
- We suggest you keep this backup key somewhere safe, in case your server is deleted so you are able to recover your panel's settings.
- This feature is only usable by the server's owner

How to do like this
A Discord Form lets the user answer individual questions in a pop-up Form, which then displays the answers in the ticket message. This can save time if you already know what you want to ask the user.
Forms can be enabled under Panel Settings > Form Options > Edit Forms Options. In the new pop-up window, you can now enable and edit your own Form.
You can add up to 5 questions in the Discord form. This is a Discord limitation. Each question can have a placeholder in the input field, a minimum and maximum input, multi-line, and also the option to have the answer required.
Question Title ➞ Your Question goes here
Question Placeholder ➞ The placeholder text in the input field
Required ➞ If enabled, the user has to answer this question, to submit the form
Multi-Line Input ➞ Allows the user to input multiple lines
Minimum and Maximum Input ➞ Set a minimum and maximum input value for the user
To display the answers from the user, you need to enable Auto display form results on the ticket message as an additional embed
If you don't want a second embed, go into your Panel Configs > Ticket Options > Edit Ticket Message. You use the variable {create.form.x} and replace x with the number of your question. For example, the response to Question 5 can be displayed with {create.form.5}.

However, you can edit the ticket message, which is the first message sent when a ticket is created ⬇️
The Ticket Message is the first message sent by the bot on a new ticket. To customize it head over to your Dashboard ➞ Panel Configs ➞ Ticket ➞ Edit Ticket Message

For more convenient use of multipanels, you can now combine panels on the dashboard. This will allow you to directly send the multipanel from the dashboard or via the $panel ID command.
You can find this setting on the Dashboard -> Panel Configs -> Panel -> Attached Panels
Note: if you're attaching all the panels to a panel called English, don't include English in the attached panel's box (If you do this, it will create a duplicate)
This will put all buttons from all of your panels on one message. The message is the panel message from the panel you're combining these panels in.

You'll need to make sure that you only have the "girl mods" marked as the support team role for that panel, and make sure neither mod role has the Adminsitrator permission

Ticket Tool cannot send a direct message for the escalation event. You can configure the escalation message to include a mention for whoever you need. Or, you can have the escalation send the new panel's ticket message upon escalation if that includes the mention.

The Drop-down menu or Select Menu replaces the buttons on your panel message and uses a drop-down menu with all of your panels. To set this up, go to your Panel Configs and select your main Panel.
First you enable Select Style. Then you add an item in the Dropdown Editor. Now you can start editing your dropdown!
Each line in the dropdown editor represents a line in the drop down menu on discord. You can add more "Items", by clicking on 

First you select a panel. That's the panel this option will open a ticket for.
DONT select the same panel twice. Each option should have a different Panel 
After that, you can put a Display. This is the title of this option and will appear in the drop down menu. The *Description can be set right after that, which will be below the title in grey.
Additionally you can select an emoji, that will be shown in front of each option. You can either manually input the ID of an emoji or select it in the selector.
- Panel doesn't send? Make sure you have a valid emoji selected
- Option doesn't show up? Check if two options have the same panel in the DropDown Editor

Ticket transcript html files shows this little preview and I noticed that the server name has incorrectly displayed characters "My Café" instead of "My Café".

No, the html page renders correctly. It's just the preview that looks a little off.
Thats probably just how the HTML formats it

I'm a little curious on that. If I view the file with notepad it looks normally "Café". The only instance I see it look a little weird is the discord preview which has me wonder if something odd is going on for parsing the file or how discord displays it.
(But as I said it's nothing big. If this isn't connected to a setting I overlooked it probably isn't worth looking into^^)
