Within all the messages the bot sends (both embeds and text) you can mention either channels, roles, or even users, these mentions will only send a notification to the user if they are used within a text field, e.g: a role mentioned in an embed won't ping at all the users who have that role.
For mentioning a role you can use one out of three options:
{@Role Name} ➞ Which is Case Sensitive.
{RoleID} ➞ Replace RoleId with the Id of the role you are trying to ping.
<@&RoleID> ➞ Discord's native syntax to ping roles.
<#ChannelID> ➞ Mention a channel by its ID.
<@UserID> ➞ Mention a user by its ID.

Are you getting any error messages? And are you staff on the server you're having issues in?
Preferably make the command run inside a staff channel I'd say since the errors cannot be stopped or made ephemeral due to how discord works

Integrating Ticket Tool with an external bot allows you to customize your server's Ticket System further!
- The external bot must output the
$newor$ticketcommands with the user's ID to start a ticket. Preferably in a private channel.
Eg.

First you will want to invite the bot to your server. Once the bot is in your server, you can manage your server in the dashboard.
To create a panel we are going to need to head over to the Panel Configs Tab on the Dashboard.
Once at the dashboard we will need to click Create Panel.
Enter a panel name (Fill in any optional settings you want).
Click Create Panel and you are ready to get started with configuring your panel.

Any roles there will be unable to use the button.

It would require mentions, because that is how you add anyone to a Private Thread. I imagine you could just put your team role(s) in the Ticket Message, since that will mention the role(s) when sent.

Ohh I mean that I'm not sure how TT actually adds them to the thread.
If the "auto-add" function is something like, say, a message that is sent and deleted after, but then you also have the ticket message, you could get two mentions.
The only way to add a role/user to a private thread is by mentioning them

OK this was helpful. I added username's as part of the panel raw message outside of the embedded part, and they were "auto" added to the ticket thread

Ticket Tool was mentioning the support roles as shown in my first message screenshot, but the users were not being added to the thread by role mention. Updating the message itself to include @usernames worked.
Please ensure Ticket Tool has the “Mention Everyone and All Roles” permission
I know that Threads can have roles mentioned into them with a limit of 100 members or less per role, so that should have worked. But that was for a public one, so maybe it's different for a private one.

This error indicates you have selected an invalid emoji, i.e. an emoji the bot isn't capable of using, in a button field
This depends upon which action the error is appearing, the most common cases are the Create Ticket button or one of your Dropdown emojis. You can visit your Button's List to find all available buttons and find the conflicting one by yourself.
- You selected an emoji that doesn't exist anymore, i.e. that has been deleted
- You wrote text there, instead of an emoji (or in addition to an emoji)
- You entered a code for a custom emoji from a server that the bot is not a member of
- You entered a custom emoji code incorrectly
- You're on iPhone and entered an emoji using the phone's emoji pad (use the emoji selector in the website instead)

It was to do with other buttons ig, once I unselected the button emoji on all buttons in the panel and redid it, all the issues was fixed

2. Select the panel you want to ping your support team on
3. Open the Ticket options menu
4. Click on Edit Ticket Message
5. In the Message Content use one of the role mention syntax ({@Role Name}/{Role ID})
6. Save changes
Note: For this to work properly, Ticket Tool requires the Mention Everyone permission. Or the role must have the Allow anyone to @mention this role setting enabled

It gives me a category issues and saying some limit of 45 channels or something on the lines of that
A category can only have 45 channels before Ticket Tool will fail to create new channels. You'll have to clear some existing tickets/channels to be able to create more

how do i make the answers for the forms pop up, and how do i make a claim button visible for my staff to claim the ticket
A Discord Form lets the user answer individual questions in a pop-up Form, which then displays the answers in the ticket message. This can save time if you already know what you want to ask the user.
Forms can be enabled under Panel Settings > Form Options > Edit Forms Options. In the new pop-up window, you can now enable and edit your own Form.
You can add up to 5 questions in the Discord form. This is a Discord limitation. Each question can have a placeholder in the input field, a minimum and maximum input, multi-line, and also the option to have the answer required.
Question Title ➞ Your Question goes here
Question Placeholder ➞ The placeholder text in the input field
Required ➞ If enabled, the user has to answer this question, to submit the form
Multi-Line Input ➞ Allows the user to input multiple lines
Minimum and Maximum Input ➞ Set a minimum and maximum input value for the user
To display the answers from the user, you need to enable Auto display form results on the ticket message as an additional embed
If you don't want a second embed, go into your Panel Configs > Ticket Options > Edit Ticket Message. You use the variable {create.form.x} and replace x with the number of your question. For example, the response to Question 5 can be displayed with {create.form.5}.

If you use the toggle in the screenshot you wont need the variables as it will just post a second box in the ticket with the forms questions and answers
If you dont want that box youd need to use the variables to show the answers

To access the dashboard you need Administrator or a Dashboard role
Any role you put there will have full access to the ticket tool dashboard. The server owner and users with admin permissions already have access to the dashboard.
Be careful of which roles to put here

My recommendation would be to make it support team only.

The /add command is used to add a user to a ticket. To open a ticket, you'll first need to create a panel
First you will want to invite the bot to your server. Once the bot is in your server, you can manage your server in the dashboard.
To create a panel we are going to need to head over to the Panel Configs Tab on the Dashboard.
Once at the dashboard we will need to click Create Panel.
Enter a panel name (Fill in any optional settings you want).
Click Create Panel and you are ready to get started with configuring your panel.
An example of a creating a panel is shown below.

the default prefix is $, if you want to use .delete, you'll have to change the command prefix in Server Configs.
Once you've got the prefix, you should be able to use it any ticket to delete it

You can just configure the panel's buttons/commands respectively.
Do you use buttons to close and delete?
In Command Configs, you can access the close and delete command settings. I would just make them support team only!
And if you have routing for ticket deletion (a higher rank reviews them before they're deleted), you can configure that as well.

so with open tickets only one person can see, but on closed tickets, everyone is in the list

yeah so for the everyone tab, it was red, but we use a verification system, so on the additional roles page it was on gray not red

Nvm found the answer. You can combine panels
1. Open your Panel Configs tab in your server's dashboard
2. Select the panel you want to ping your support team on
3. Open the Ticket options menu
4. Click on Edit Ticket Message
5. In the Message Content use one of the role mention syntax ({@Role Name}/{Role ID})
6. Save changes
Note: For this to work properly, Ticket Tool requires the Mention Everyone permission. Or the role must have the Allow anyone to @mention this role setting enabled

I suggest instead setting up a role selection that can access a custom team; it's very inconvenient when you can't configure roles in custom teams.

The Drop-down menu or Select Menu replaces the buttons on your panel message and uses a drop-down menu with all of your panels. To set this up, go to your Panel Configs and select your main Panel.
First you enable Select Style. Then you add an item in the Dropdown Editor. Now you can start editing your dropdown!
Each line in the dropdown editor represents a line in the drop down menu on discord. You can add more "Items", by clicking on 

First you select a panel. That's the panel this option will open a ticket for.
DONT select the same panel twice. Each option should have a different Panel 
After that, you can put a Display. This is the title of this option and will appear in the drop down menu. The *Description can be set right after that, which will be below the title in grey.
Additionally you can select an emoji, that will be shown in front of each option. You can either manually input the ID of an emoji or select it in the selector.
- Panel doesn't send? Make sure you have a valid emoji selected
- Option doesn't show up? Check if two options have the same panel in the DropDown Editor

After closing a ticket, you need to wait a certain amount of time before creating a new one.
You can change the amount of tickets a user has open at once (for both open and closed tickets), but i'm not sure of you can set a way for there to be a cooldown as such

They could be using the buttons. Make sure you've set the permissions for buttons as well as commands.

The Backup and Restore feature allows you to transfer your panels, tags, and all settings to a new server, even if the server the settings were created has been deleted! You will want to copy the whole key.
First, go to your server's Dashboard ➞ then Server Configs ➞ under Config Backup & Restore (Server Owner Only) click on Old version can be found here and generate a new backup key by pressing the green button. Now, a key should be generated in the box above. You may need to refresh the page to see this.
Once you have your backup key, navigate to the same page on the new server. Copy the key on the Restore from backup key field.
Now you can choose what you want to copy. Finally, press the green Restore Configs button.
- We suggest you keep this backup key somewhere safe, in case your server is deleted so you are able to recover your panel's settings.
- This feature is only usable by the server's owner

If they've sent their panel, it may have a button, dropdown menu, etc.
Or they use command style, where you use /new in a channel, or the prefix version. (Default $new)
I'm not able to understand where the discrepancy is without that information.

This error indicates you have selected an invalid emoji, i.e. an emoji the bot isn't capable of using, in a button field
This depends upon which action the error is appearing, the most common cases are the Create Ticket button or one of your Dropdown emojis. You can visit your Button's List to find all available buttons and find the conflicting one by yourself.
- You selected an emoji that doesn't exist anymore, i.e. that has been deleted
- You wrote text there, instead of an emoji (or in addition to an emoji)
- You entered a code for a custom emoji from a server that the bot is not a member of
- You entered a custom emoji code incorrectly
- You're on iPhone and entered an emoji using the phone's emoji pad (use the emoji selector in the website instead)

If you're using the dropdowns, you won't have a create ticket button.
The issue is happening on the second item in your dropdown list. Panel -> DropDown Style -> Dropdown Items

hey so i got a very great question, so i was wondering if its possible to use Discohook Utils X Ticket Tool? is it possible?
There is no direct integration compatibility at this time. But if you wanted to experiment with webhooks into Ticket Tool (maybe another app that speaks to Discohook when it detects that a ticket is created? Or staff members create webhooks for each ticket?), then that is the sort of option available to you!

how do i get the ticket to ping a role when opened?

1. Open your Panel Configs tab in your server's dashboard
2. Select the panel you want to ping your support team on
3. Open the Ticket options menu
4. Click on Edit Ticket Message
5. In the Message Content use one of the role mention syntax ({@Role Name}/{Role ID})
6. Save changes
Note: For this to work properly, Ticket Tool requires the Mention Everyone permission. Or the role must have the Allow anyone to @mention this role setting enabled

The prefix is what goes before any command, by default the prefix is $ but you can customize it following these steps:
1. Open the Server Configs tab in your server's dashboard
2. Update the prefix editing the Command Prefix field
3. Save changes
Note: Ticket Tool also supports slash commands which you can check by using the/operator on the chat box.

Just set the User Limit to one as it is by default ^^

We set up the bot a few days ago and it's been working well.
Somebody joined today and created a ticket but it didn't give them 'read message history' permissions. The bot has the permission showing as green when I view it on the dashboard.
Advice on how to fix this would be appreciated please.
