hi! just made a ticket tool and searched in this discord to see how i can mod it so that "administrator" role cant see the locked new ticket channels but couldnt figure that out, can anyone help me with this please?
info: currently the "support" role is able to see and is designated that on the dashboard. the "admins" role with administrator access is not designated but can still view etc those channels and would like to remove this access. thank you!
from looking through on this discord, looks like administrators have auto access to all channels and there is no way to bypass this?

You can make a separate server for tickets where your main server's admins don't have the Administrator permission

You can use forms.
The user would have to enter information in regards to what they’re opening a ticket for
E.g you could use this question to gain information
“How can we help you?” And they’d be able to type a response which anyone with access to that ticket can see.
A Discord Form lets the user answer individual questions in a pop-up Form, which then displays the answers in the ticket message. This can save time if you already know what you want to ask the user.
Forms can be enabled under Panel Settings > Form Options > Edit Forms Options. In the new pop-up window, you can now enable and edit your own Form.
You can add up to 5 questions in the Discord form. This is a Discord limitation. Each question can have a placeholder in the input field, a minimum and maximum input, multi-line, and also the option to have the answer required.
Question Title ➞ Your Question goes here
Question Placeholder ➞ The placeholder text in the input field
Required ➞ If enabled, the user has to answer this question, to submit the form
Multi-Line Input ➞Allows the user to input multiple lines
Minimum and Maximum Input ➞ Set a minimum and maximum input value for the user
To display the answers from the user, you need to go into your Panel Settings > Ticket Options > Edit Ticket Message. In there you use the variable {create.form.x} and just replace x with the number of your question. For example, the response to Question 1 can be displayed with {create.form.1}. If you don't use this variable, the response from the user is lost.

helloo! apologies if this has been asked before but if anyone is able to help explain what adjustments we could make that would be great!
we only have one panel for general tickets which can be used for many reasons. we often get report tickets where we have members send their screen shots/images for proof on their report. we have recently noticed that some of these tickets don't save the images within the transcript which becomes an issue when we use the transcript for logs
we have tried:
- staff opening tickets and trying transcripts through the button vs the command (
$transcript) - the images save - staff opening tickets trying different image types while saving both with the button vs the command - the image saves
- general member opening tickets and trying all of the above - the images save
- members opening tickets when they have an actual report - the images are deleted and replaced in the transcript with "Attachment"
is anyone able to understand something we may be doing wrong? if more clarification is needed lmk!

Tickets save the links to the images.
After a message on Discord is deleted, any media attached to the channel is flagged for deletion.
It remains accessible with the link for a few days
and after that the link goes dead.
If you have premium, up to 8 mb worth of attachments are saved along with the ticket.
If you don't have premium, the option is to download any media, reupload it to a private media channel, copy the link, then send the link into the ticket before transcripting
Unfortunately, all previous images from tickets you have transcripted are lost.

Within all the messages the bot's sends (both embeds and text) you can mention either channels, roles, or even users, these mentions will only send a notification to the user if they are used within a text field, e.g: a role mentioned in an embed won't ping at all the users who have that role.
For mentioning a role you can use one out of three options:

{RoleID} ➞ Replace RoleId with the Id of the role you are trying to ping.

You need to create multiple panels and attach them to one panel, you can do this under:
Panel Configs --> Panel --> Attached Panels (Multi Panels)
Once you have created a panel you can send it to a channel under:
Panel Configs --> Send (Blue Button top centre)
You can edit the embed under:
Panel Configs --> Panel --> Edit Panel Message (Green Button) --> Embed Editor
Note: If you want to add fields you will need premium

You don't merge panels, you just make them available as buttons (or dropdown menu options) by setting it up in the corresponding menu

How do you assign the ticket bot to a channel I gave it the permissions but the ui on the website is way too confusing. All tutorials showed the previous ui which is way easier to follow you create a panel and assign the bot to it
Go to Panel configs and then select the panel from the menu at the top
Then you will find a send button under the menu

Am I just dumb in that I can not figure out how to have my support team notified when a new ticket is opened other than them constantly having to watch for new tickets, I've tried changing many setting within discord to make notifications show up and since the ticket creates a new channel everytime I am not sure....

Within all the messages the bot's sends (both embeds and text) you can mention either channels, roles, or even users, these mentions will only send a notification to the user if they are used within a text field, e.g: a role mentioned in an embed won't ping at all the users who have that role.
For mentioning a role you can use one out of three options:
{@Role Name} ➞ Which is Case Sensitive.
{RoleID} ➞ Replace RoleId with the Id of the role you are trying to ping.
<@&RoleID> ➞ Discord's native syntax to ping roles.
<#ChannelID> ➞ Mention a channel by its ID.
<@UserID> ➞ Mention a user by its ID.

You need to check 2 places:
Panel Configs —> Limits —> Tickets Open should be equal to 1 or higher
Server configs —> Global Ticket Limit default is usually 100

Hi, I saw some mentions of this in this channel prior, but is there anyways to have any screenshots/pictures/embeds sent in tickets be saved and accessible in the transcripts?
I know Discord likely removes it from their cache but I was wondering if there ever was a workaround found and made for this?
Premium will save up to 8 megabytes of attachments
Without premium, you can manually download the attachments, upload them to another channel, copy the attachment URL, and paste the URL into the ticket before transcripting

A Discord Form lets the user answer individual questions in a pop-up Form, which then displays the answers in the ticket message. This can save time if you already know what you want to ask the user.
Forms can be enabled under Panel Settings > Form Options > Edit Forms Options. In the new pop-up window, you can now enable and edit your own Form.
You can add up to 5 questions in the Discord form. This is a Discord limitation. Each question can have a placeholder in the input field, a minimum and maximum input, multi-line, and also the option to have the answer required.
Question Title ➞ Your Question goes here
Question Placeholder ➞ The placeholder text in the input field
Required ➞ If enabled, the user has to answer this question, to submit the form
Multi-Line Input ➞Allows the user to input multiple lines
Minimum and Maximum Input ➞ Set a minimum and maximum input value for the user
To display the answers from the user, you need to go into your Panel Settings > Ticket Options > Edit Ticket Message. In there you use the variable {create.form.x} and just replace x with the number of your question. For example, the response to Question 1 can be displayed with {create.form.1}. If you don't use this variable, the response from the user is lost.
Currently customisable commands aren't possible.

That is using tags
Tags are used to send a predefined response to your channels using a command. Tags will only respond if the command itself is used, it will not function if you put the tag into a sentence. The prefix is not included.
To create tags, go to: Dashboard > Tags > Create Tag. After creating and naming one, tap on the response button, and you can edit the response.
You can use command style tickets to do exactly this tho.

First you will want to invite the bot to your server. Once the bot is in your server, you can manage your server in the dashboard.
To create a panel we are going to need to head over to the panel configs on the dashboard.
Once at the dashboard we will need to click Create Panel.
Enter a panel name (Fill in any optional settings you want).
Click Create Panel and your ready to get started with configuring your panel.
An example of a creating a panel is shown below.
Once you've created a panel on the dashboard you will need to send it to a channel using send on the dashboard.
Select the channel you want your panel to be created in and click send.

when closing a ticket in my sv it only says Are you sure you want to close this ticket? cancel, I don't see the button to close the ticket, only to cancel.

So Ticket Tool keeps saying this: Failed to send: Access Denied (Ticket Tool doesn't have permission to view or send into this channel) I already gave the bot role the correct permission and also the channel that I want the bot to view and send messages in, Idk if it’s a bug on my end.
There's several possibilities
You might have the wrong bot enabled

Within all the messages the bot's sends (both embeds and text) you can mention either channels, roles, or even users, these mentions will only send a notification to the user if they are used within a text field, e.g: a role mentioned in an embed won't ping at all the users who have that role.
For mentioning a role you can use one out of three options:
{@Role Name} ➞ Which is Case Sensitive.
{RoleID} ➞ Replace RoleId with the Id of the role you are trying to ping.
<@&RoleID> ➞ Discord's native syntax to ping roles.
<#ChannelID> ➞ Mention a channel by its ID.
<@UserID> ➞ Mention a user by its ID.

Yes,
Panel Configs --> Limits --> Adjust Open tickets each user to desired amount
If needed adjust Tickets closed in same area as well

In the open ticket setting, the default number of "Open tickets all users" is 500.
Does that mean when the server users open reach the 500, I need buy more tickets from Ticket Tool official, or I can just higher the number by hand without charge?
Those limits are Discord rate limits, if you get to that point you should consider using the storage system found under Server Configs.
The easier option is to transcript tickets and just delete them when they are done.
You can't get to 500 open tickets because your server's maximum is 500 channels total
And you presumably have channels for things other than tickets

Make them a support team role or an additional role
Panel Configs -> General
By default, support team roles can also see closed tickets
while additional roles get the same default permissions as the ticket creator

Note that the new permissions won't be applied to old tickets
To make them apply, close them and reopen them

No, that's not possible. You can however edit the bot's message
The panel message is where people react to make a ticket. To customize it head over to your Dashboard --> Panel Configs -> Panel -> Edit Panel Message
Are there cases where some of the tickets can be deleted and not saved on Transcripts?
I saw "Deleting in few seconds" but the ticket was not closed therefore it was not saved in transcripts. Has anyone experienced this?
Are there maximum words, lines, images in a ticket channel?
Does the ticket auto delete if that made the ticket leaves the server?
afak there's no limit to messages and images in a channel, since it's just a normal channel

I tested with friend. It autodeletes if the person that opened the ticket leaves the server. Is there a way to turn this off? Cause our default save to logs is only when the ticket is closed.

You can change permissions in Panel Configs->Claiming->Edit Support Team Permissions

There is no command for assigning permissions. Check this info:

Hey, if you want add to tickets your support roles, go to Panel Configs->General->Support Team Roles
but if you want add additional roles, go to Panel Configs->General->Additional Roles

You can change the embed description under embed editor and a few other things

Sure, by making the Close Ticket and/or Confirm Close buttons Support Team Only

Panel Configs --> Top centre of screen there is a Send button it is blue --> click that and it will give you option to choose a channel and send it

How to set up ticket claiming? Better said, when someone creates a ticket so that everyone with a given role can see it there, but then one team member would claim it, who will solve the ticket so that only he and no one else with that role can see it there. And to see the role there.

Claiming is a premium feature
You set it up in Panel Configs -> Claiming
It's called a multipanel
For a more convenient use of multipanels, you can now combine panels on the dashboard. This will allow you to directly send the multipanel from the dashboard or via the $panel ID command.
You can find this setting on the Dashboard -> Panel Configs -> Settings -> Panel
Note: if you're attaching all the panels to a panel called English, don't include English in the attached panel's box (If you do this, it will create a duplicate)
This will put all buttons from all of your panels on one message. The message is the panel message from the panel you're combining these panels in.

The voting premium goes with the premium bot or the normal one?
In Ticket Tool, you vote for the entire bot so whether you have normal or premium, voting will work for both.
psst, In general, if you have premium on the server, remember that you don't need to invite a premium bot to make it work 
*What I mean is, no matter if you vote using a premium or normal bot, you have the same votes
