The fact that i drop from a stable 60fps down to an unstable 20fps whenever i get near an area with traders, a-life encounters tend to drop me down to 40fps, and sometimes there will be 5-10m where i get random stutters even if i close everything on the computer besides the game

Running a 3060, Ryzen 5 3600x, 16GB DDR4, not the best but definitely should be able to get a stable 60fps at the lowest settings with dlss set to quality or off

Here's my personal take of the whole situation:

Frankly, I remain somewhat skeptical about the whole thing, both the idea that the takedown is frivolous and an "abuse of power" by GSC, and the idea that the takedown and evidence presented are even legitimate to being with.

A few factors that have me skeptical as to the takedown's legitimacy:

• There's at least one known incident in the past where someone/a group was posing and GSC and sending out fraudulent takedowns on YouTube or something along those lines. (I can't remember the specific details of this one, sorry.)

• It's inconsistent with GSC's track record regarding the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. IP; they've been incredibly lenient when it comes to this kind of stuff in the past. I think either the MISERY dev really f'd up and genuinely used stolen assets, or this whole thing is meant as some weird publicity stunt for his game and/or as a smear campaign against GSC.

• The email and document that have been presented as evidence quite frankly don't look authentic to me. For what is supposed to be an official DMCA/cease-and-desist, it looks very sloppy and unprofessional. For one thing, why are both images (the email and the form) so heavily cropped? Notice how they're cropped in a way that would prevent us from seeing both the sending email and the reply-to address. Then look at the bizarrely slapdash placement of the screenshots in the email. I know people have said that it aligns with real Steam DMCA's they've seen, but if that's the case then it probably isn't very hard to find screenshots or even a template that look like the real thing. DMCA's and the like are well known to be very easy to fake.

Why would the official legal representative of a company have the game site's URL for their email and not the company site URL?
