By the way, I have merged a lot of reshades together before and one of the reshades gave me an option to switch between them with the nom keys. It was a six and a four and while playing I was switching from gas mask to night vision. It was really cool

just got through fixing the sound in my anomaly pack, my sound like many others is muffled in vanilla anomaly, so used https://www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly/addons/10-groks-better-sound-for-anomaly-151
it didn't sound muffled, but then a new side effect, static and stuttering and a reduced framerate
found out that mod changed the default 44.1kHz to 48kHz and that caused the issues and my system is set to 44.1kHz

Strafing at range means they're reasonably likely to get a glancing shot instead which you will probably survive 1-2 of at least. And if you sprint perpendicular to their line of fire you probably won't get hit unless you are pretty close
