As someone who's played all three OG games, I can say I never really managed to sink my teeth into them enough (aside from call of pripyat) and mods are a really accesable way for new (and younger) players to play stalker as they're much more modern. Mods breathe new life into stalker, This is particularly useful for a series which hasn't had a new entry in nearly 15 years (hopefully 0 years soon).

There’s only the limit that full-automatic weapons can only be under 0,5 Joule strong
But semi-automatic and Bolt-/pump action can be as high as 7,5 Joule (most fields only allow up to 3 Joule for action Airsoft games tho, since 7,5 is pretty powerful from my experience with my own Airrifle)
