Reputation is independent from story progress, except for Ward/Spark obviously. You can increase your reputation with faction traders/mechanics by doing repeatable missions. Once you complete a mission you can sleep 4 times to get access to a new selection of missions

Climb it, climb another ladder there, drop on the pipes, and after some climbing around Malachite building, you will eventually get to a door with a code panel and a safe inside, with another code panel (you can find the exact path on the YT). The codes are ||4601|| and ||0430||. The safe has Dnipro (the best AR in the game) and Liquid Rock inside.

It is working. RN now on the level between SoC/CoP and CS (it is better than SoC/CoP but still not as good than CS). Some things are better than OGs Alife, some things are worse. For worse mostly some behaviour small details are missing and that offline NPCs are loaded only once you visit local area (once they are loaded, they function in offline, but they are not all laoded from the start). And another thing is limit to roaming groups. So thats why CS is better still. But for better thins, forecample ppl can here leave groups and join another group, or when they are anihilated, they can switch groups and etc. Its nice

Not just Alife simulation but the AI behaviours need huge improvement. I’ve had so many long lasting, nail biting moments with the og trilogy.

In Stalker 2 the AI doesn’t really keep you on your toes like the old ones. They don’t really feel like they ever have the advantage.

Ok first of all before you tear me apart just let me say this.

• even if it is a benefit overall it still damages stalker 2 sales and perception. A community modded game will always look and play better than one just made by devs because it allows for personalized customization for everyone with thousands of mods to pick from. This damages the perception of stalker 2 and the games sales because the devs spent years on an amazing game and you could just pirate a better looking game that plays better for free and everyone on YouTube and the forums will tell you that stalker 2 sucks in comparison which it does not and they probably couldn’t afford the game so they are telling everyone how bad it is to avoid having to buy and play the newest title.
• GSC doesn’t have a choice. The modding community is so ravenous and toxic that if GSC ever took away the distribution their free pirated copies of stolen games there would obviously be constant doxxing trolling and harassment/smear campaigns directed at the developers and anyone who actively supports stalker.
• it sets a precedent that people can steal from and bully GSC into doing whatever they want. Seriously how long until stalker 2 is pirated and distributed as stolen copies for free with the exception by GSC out of fear of harassment and doxxing

I’m not saying mods are bad they do have a place. I believe Bethesda creator club is a good example of how mods should be implemented to avoid a SKSE situation where devs are doxxing and threatening each other and the games creators. Anomaly and modding is kind of a double edged sword. On one hand, the modding community kept the love for stalker alive for a long time, and anomaly brought a ton of new eyes onto the series, which ultimately is probably what enabled GSC to make another game. A much bigger audience made it financially viable. But, a lot of those people have never played the og trilogy and had a completely different idea of what stalker 2 was supposed to be in their head, making them disappointed when it released. Countless times I hear people referring to stalker 2 missing “legacy” trilogy features that were never actually in the trilogy, but came from mods, like pda chats for example. I think this is also why so many people think the trilogies a-life was so advanced, but it really wasn’t that crazy

I just went up on the rafters on the north side of the building, jumped on the vents, and on top of the place where the guy is that sends you to the arena, and from there you can just jump down behind the bar

So far I’ve tried jumping sideways on the shield with the knives in it to give me a boost, same with trying to jump on the stacked tv’s but the bent pipe at the top doesn’t let me get on it

Same and that makes sense. My expectations were much higher for S2, mostly because of A-Life stuff which wasn't even in the early stage on the release. I didn't even care about all the softlocks that we had because of that

Some of us had to wait until version 1.0.3 to be able to play

About a month ago, when I tried to play version 1.0 to see how it had evolved up to version 1.7, I still couldn't play it and had to install version 1.1.4

As for Cyberpunk, on the other hand, I was able to play it on launch day and even make pretty good progress with a 980, which was my graphics card at the time
