I’ve played about 80 hours (not finished playthrough yet) but the only issues I ever had was memory leak crash three times. But that was easy fix by verifying & repair files. Other than that my game has been good performance speaking and tons of fun. Especially good as of lately. Diamond : highest carry weight increase, best base stats
Brummbar : can reach maximum physical protection and wear resistance, cheaper sprint upgrade, seriously you don't need more than the sprint and maximize the physical protection with this exo.
Liberty: most expensive, 2nd best base stats, can either give you the same extra carry weight but less physical protection than Diamond or 2nd highest carry weight.

Cuirass: doesn't have sprint upgrade, so unusable lol

you can add faceless companions to stalker, sure, but that idea was abandoned by GSC as far back as 2006

though again, ultimately it boils down to the vibe the game is going for, some narratives are just better experienced alone
