GSC has also said in recent interviews that they're planning on supporting the game for longer and more intensely than they initially planned. (They weren't expecting the game to do as well as it did.) They even mentioned restoration of cut content being on the table.

Keeping silence for 23 days not the best strategy at all ... especially when you worked in IT for 13 years and perfectly understand, that at least one full sprint (agile thing) passed so they at least have something to send as "hotfix". Or at least announce "ok, folks, we've been working hard on certain things, it will require some time to polish it more, but by the end of these month you will get a decent patch". This is just a COMMON best-practice in IT sphere, doesn't matter whether its mobile, web or gamedev (in this case we speak about product company, not outsource). I doubt that they work under waterfall strategy because MS paid S2 development and game pass exclusivity - and these guys I more then sure ensist on agile dev cycle type, just because you can get progress updates on any stage of it, while waterfall is something different. The only my guess why they still didn't announce anything is because they are preparing something huge and want to make a surprise, but tbh I doubt that its this case+its a very high-risky thing in terms of reputation not only for the community but for their reputation in investors/publishers eyes - because if they will fail with this "surprise" that will be not catastrophic, but extremely bad PR thing for them (the game was moved from its release multiple times and each time they was saying "this is the last move of release date, honestly"+release state and current state - which still have softlocks, bugs, terrible optimisation, etc). I'm not saying they are lazy - in fact it is seen that they made a great progress with last patches, but still serious issues persist. I'd be ok, if there was still bad optimisation, but no softblocks/bugs related to the gameplay stuff like artifacts/items disappearance, quests bugging and never completing (or failing even you've made all the objections like with "On the Edge" quest or quest related to Akapyan, who never shows up on the base to reward you), but we have what we have. That's why I believe its pretty fair and logical to ask on official discord channel for at least an abstract update, because again, they keeping silence on when their "hotfix asap" will happen for 23 days already (as I joked before, at least we know now which days minimum they have in their definition of "asap").
