The one X will run games at a higher resolution than a series S and that's about all it has over a series S. The series S caps itself at 1080p to provide better performance, allowing it to run games meant for the series X. I don't understand this very modern and very recent association with high system requirements with being a bad game or having bad optimization. Maybe its the fact that so many games have released in trash poor state, but games have always targetted the bleeding edge of hardware. between 99 and 2005 I upgraded gpus constantly. I couldn't play Half Life 2 on highest settings when it launched, I had to upgrade, I couldn't play UT2k4 on highest settings, had to upgrade, I couldn't play Unreal 1 without an upgrade... It's perfectly normal for even the best optimzied games to chug on lower end hardware.

so i found the problem with nvidia drivers, actually "nvidia app" was the main problem here i uninstalled it via windows control panel and voila back to good ol geforce experience. when i installed "nvidia app" before, games started lagging and even its overlay is soooo poorly optimized that it is beyond me how its even possible for nvidia to fail so hard. so TDLR: use nvidia driver all alone or with geforce experience together. avoid "nvidia app" because its a laggy bloatware, and not the other way around.

Series S might be better if there are alot of stutters due to my cpu. series s cpu seems way ahead but worse gpu , and @cinder sparrow i feel my cpu makes it more like a 2060

I picked up a old DELL LCD monitor and it's pretty nice. No CRT, but I use it for chat/pathfinder character sheets and some retro gaming and it's really nice.
