Lots of games have FPS-sink settings. Monster Hunter World has "Volumetric Fog Quality" and it actively makes the game look worse while eating 20-30 frames. So I expect it to be feasible to run it quite well is an "average" (modern) setup.

Not unusual at all. Half your refresh is common. Half 165 to 82 and you can crank up the visuals to max. Although a 4080 can do both. Remember to enable variable refresh too. Your monitor will match your lock and it will look buttery smooth.

Just wanted to upload a modded Anomaly screenshot to say that since it doesn't look that much worse than what we've seen from Stalker 2 trailers there's not much reason for the game to run badly... Unless something went really wrong with the whole UE5 implementation.

One of them was 1080p max settings DLSS 3 with a 4060 they got 43.2 fps raw and 85 with fram gen.

My current assumption is that "max settings" includes raytracing? so as long as you don't plan to run 1440p or 144hz and also not "max settings" 3060 should get, hopefully, playable fps.

But most is guesswork ...

I tried it with my 3060 laptop a year ago or so when I played gamma and I was able to run it with high grass settings at a good 90 fps at 1440p and honestly the input delay was not bad like.. at all! for singleplayer games its really good

Another reason to lock your frames lower than your system can handle is if you are making videos or streaming. The output visual quality will be much higher.

Use quicksaves often, its F5 on ur keyboard. When u get into a situation that might softlock you, hit F9 to load the most recent save file

Call of Pripyat doesnt have many bugs, but it can crash pretty bad towards the end, so I would suggest using a 64-Bit engine

there is little to 0 ghosting and the anti aliasing is really good
