I think because some people uploaded anomaly videos while tarkov was really popular and they were looking for an alternative but similar experience. Tarkov offers the pulsing high stress gameplay unlike most other shooting games, but suffers from many issues. stalker anomaly / gamma is accessible enough to hop in and have fun but still deep enough to keep people engaged with an equipment upgrade cycle and death around any corner if you arent paying enough attention or mis-step into a death area

have you ever used Godot? it has a lot of tech dead ends that make it worse without actually trying to improve the actual flaws in its design, GDScript will NEVER be viable for example, yet, the maintainers keep pumping out new features because nobody wants to get their head down and actually hammer the base into something someone would use aside from novelty and because ragh proprietary sucks

heres the crux, the base of Godot is rotten, it rejects any scaling of a project past a very small indie one, if you want to make something bigger even in 2d, you will need to look elsewhere or change the engine so much it wont be godot anymore, rather a bespoke internal engine for you
