Understandable, but when you look into it, neither of those games were shown to the public like stalker 2. For instance we KNOW it runs fine on console, so it doesn’t have half the problems of F76 and Cyberpunk.

cyberpunk and fallout 76 were not able to be played a month before release with people praising it.

Also cyberpunk’s last delay was like 2 weeks from release if I remember correctly

I've played MISERY and Anomaly, but I've never touched GAMMA. All three had some features that I thought were cool, but...

MISERY's difficulty felt unfair and artificial, and overall made the experience unfun.

Anomaly felt like it was trying to do too much all at once, and there was just too much grinding.

From what I've seen, GAMMA has a lot of the same stuff I disliked in Anomaly in addition to a large mixed bag of additional features, some of which seem cool, while others seem like a miserable slog.

TBH I totally understand the reasons for the limitations for the firearms in the game, but to be real... I honestly wish the stalker games had the same weapon diversity as eft, if for no reason other than realism & diversity. I feel like the real zone would be absolutely loaded with all sorts of weapons, new & old.

But I just humbly accept the weapons we get bc I'll enjoy the game no matter what, but I do feel like the limited weapons hurts the realistic diversity of firearms that'd be available in the zone.

I'm happy that more Ukranian firearms are in the game now for sure though, I just wish there was more in general. At the same time it's very understandable bc obv the game would be presumably tougher to balance with a bloated list of available weapons. Plus you run into the same problem as EFT/reality, where there are like 2000 f'ing Ak47 variants.

That's the big one for me. I'm a fan of gameplay features that add immersion, but they need to be handled in a way that doesn't make interacting with said features feel like a boring slog.

Like for example: In MISERY I loved having the ability to cook food, all of the different little "fluff" items, the new weapons, new suits, having to use special containers for artifacts, etc., it helped make the world feel more real. What I didn't like was enemies having equipment that was seemingly in perfect condition until you got your hands on it, laser accuracy, absurd long-distance vision, and their weapons doing more damage to you than you could ever do to them.

Progression being so much slower was also something I disliked. (MISERY and Anomaly) I don't need to become powerful immediately, I don't mind progression taking time, but I don't want it to take too long either. Yeah, the baseline progression for a lot of those mods are sluggish. It's supposed to be challenging but it winds up turning into a slog once you've spent your fifth hour running around Cordon or Great Swamps or Garbage.

Like I said, I don't mind if progression is slower. I think it really does make it feel more satisfying once you reach a new "power level" so to speak, but for the love of God, don't make it feel like such an unfun chore. Even if it's challenging, the journey to power needs to feel enjoyable and not like a Sisyphean torture climb.
