yes and no at the same time. the gate to rostok (from wild territory) is one of AI path and spawn points whenever the player is away from that gate. you just happened to be in wrong time there, that the AI coincidentally chosen that path and spawned there in horde (because the player is too close to trigger the spawn).

So I'm still enjoying my playthrough of shadow of chornobyl, I'm near the end, there's just a couple of things that have soured the experience a bit.

The human NPCs in stalker are incredibly annoying to fight, they don't act like ai from any other game I've played so it's a tough adjustment. They constantly encroach on your position, making reloading behind cover even a risky move, and some of the more advanced soldiers that have exoskeletons have wayyyy too much health, like it took way more ammo to take down some monolith specialists than pseudogiants. They are lazer accurate and no matter what armor you are wearing it doesn't seem to matter much in terms of raw damage you take

Also the gun jamming is too much, I'd be fine with every now and then but it happens all the time, like far more than a gun would jam in real life, and no the guns that Jan are never in bad condition
