We don't have to make such things convoluted suddenly, it's just a dub & the accents in the dub are often used to signify some important character details. If you're telling me you think someone named "Korshunov" is all of a sudden an American/British/etc bcuz of a proper dub — I'd say you need to reconsider some stuff heavily 😁 I personally wouldn't mind a black guy shown in the trailer to have some sort of an accent — it'll make perfect sense, cuz it's likely this lad would've had an accent in any language he speaks 😁 That would've made sense, but literally everyone? The GSC Forums (2001-2022 R.I.P.) was often the place we would discuss those problems. It was the largest archive on the planet of Stalker knowledge, that is now gone.

So GSC is treating Strider like he ended up in Freedom, despite the variables in CoP? I've tried to limit all the Stalker 2 reveals aka spoilers.

That makes sense since Freedom is the only faction you can get Strider to join in free-play, if he missed the trip in the Pripyat underground.
