You can never get an experience like this in anomaly/gamma/any freeplay mod, because they clearly dont care about story, nor the setting they are in

So, this is a modpack. It's is using OGSR, which apart from looking and playing more modern, it includes graphical features. Its got ZRP included too tho, but also many manual changes made by the guy to make it "more lore accurate", following what happened in Clear Sky

They are very similar, but I think having a chunk of grass together is cool. Although having them a little bit separated makes the ground have more presence, which can add to the looks of stalker

Does anyone know why this guy spawns in Volkow AA complex without any weapons? I followed him for like 5 minutes and prevented him from picking any guns. I tried giving him an rpg but he refuses to pick it up

It’s a known bug. Basically almost each generic NPC in the game has a chance to spawn extra weapon so that he has one to offer for sale.

It lists as:

(regular inventory) (100% chance)
IL86 (2% chance)
Obokan (2% chance)
etc.

But the way the game works, it can’t have repeated entries. So if normal inventory has a weapon that is included in random weapon list rotation, like this:

Obokan (100%)
…
Obokan (2%)
…

The first entry is ignored

Meaning that guy will have no weapon at all if all of his trade weapon chances fail

Devs were aware of the issue so they removed that list from most NPCs that happen to share a weapon with the random rotation

But forgot in just a couple places, and that’s one of them

For radiation and anomalies, use the artifacts that you get from the containers, or just rad syringes, it's pretty easy to take out radiation

Unless you value carry weight a ton, I personally find 50kg enough. Maybe I go over the limit but I just walk, or use a guide if I'm feeling anxious, they are pretty cheap anyway

i spent time going back and forth between cordon and swamp, i have picked up some artifacts at the swamp and cordon to earn money to upgrade my armour. Infact i have raided military outpost twice now and use their rifle as well.

i equipped two jellyfish artifacts for radiation resistance, which another artifact would you recommend at this stage ? I haven't explore garbage yet.

btw how do i avoid the emission ? just now at cordon the warning siren for emission was sounded, i hided at the place marked for me to stay, it was in a house, so i stayed there, and i notice the house also has an underground hole so i decided to hide there for extra protection, but when the emission hit, i died.

Just try to stay in a place where there little to no holes, and that it's a common place to be. If other stalkers are there, better indicator that its safe.

The game sometimes fails to do that check properly, yeah. Idk if it works like this in CS (it does in CoP), but when you successfully hidden properly (like, the game considers you are safe), you'll have a notification saying: "wait for the emission to end". Just stay in that range

If you go out that safe range, you get a message to take cover again, meaning you left the safe zone. Again, idr if this is in CS, or they just simplified it and didn't give the message warning

But generally, a house is ok, even if it has holes

That is an animation glitch trick. Only possible in original Xray engine version on PC. If anyone don't know here is the trick:

1. First go to third person mode via menu and bind the key in controls.

2.The player can hold Move left and Move right key at the same time.

3. While holding those keys, press sprint button.

This method also allows the player to sprint backward by adding step 4: Press Move Backwards. This is useful for fighting rushing mutants. Allowing player to sprint backwards while keeping aim at the mutant.

Just don't sprint backwards yourself into an Anomaly 🤣. (Since you can't see what's behind you).

If you are interested in real explanation the fella was likely injured outside Skadovsk then just went inside in offline as the heavy injury anim simulation is only an “online” thing which works when you are close to an NPC, and if you are on a different level or simply far enough away, NPCs are free to move even below 20% HP.

Might be collision damage when npc spawned too but I have never seen that in CoP to be honest.
