plus in some cases new lighting and skyboxes harm the game as with SOC, they removed the purplish hue and made the atmosphere more thin
aka, the only 2 actually worth things, are kinda mute

LUA JIT is only compatible with LUA5.1, last I checked base LUA was at 5.3, if you want to use the new features with JIT youre out of luck, but JIT uses a just-in-time interpreter that directly interpreted by LUAJITs intepreter, while LUA base needs needs a LUA VM to execute the code, JIT also has better debugging feautes and different quirks for compiling, I aint a expert on LUA tho

I was personally hoping Enhanced Edition would be, you know, something more than what it is right now.

• I feel like the game doesn't render at native 1440p for me. The blur is literally painful to look at.
• Can't charge the bolt so it just drops right in front of the player when right clicking. Can't even hold it, you instantly toss it.
• Missed opportunity to add weapon bobbing to Shadow of Chernobyl (it was cut in original game due to nausea issues. With the ability to turn off view bobbing it would make a lot of sense to try and re-add it.)
• The store says god rays have been added. For one, that was a native feature in original Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat. You'd think that would mean it's added to Shadow of Chernobyl but I looked and god rays are not visilbe anywhere in that game.
• Can't use mouse4/5 as key binds.
• Pistols in Clear Sky still don't use ironsights
  The list goes on sadly :c

Trying to play EE using Steam's "Combine Joy-Con Pairs" feature, everything works fine except the face buttons are reversed. A is B, B is A, X is Y, and Y is X. So pressing what would be jump on the Switch instead crouches. I've tried what I can to fix it by messing with the user.ltx and tmp.ltx files to no luck. Enabling Steam Input could possibly fix it but unfortunately disables the gyro.

In original trilogy you had DX8 (Static), DX9, DX9 Enhanced, DX10 and DX11
In Call of Pripyat if you run the original you just have to switch between DX10 and DX11 to notice it as the game renders even the fonts themselves with a softer edge.
