They can't make the visuals quite as fancy if you want the game to retain stable performance during the most insane fights, and to be fair it does that pretty well

if you aren't in the mood for normal anomaly gameplay then it probably won't be very fun, its pretty much the same thing except you cant buy any gear. what makes it fun for me is that the progression is a pretty slow burn, so getting upgrades feels meaningful. i find it fun to gear up completely before doing scorcher and the rest of the main story and then i usually get bored before i can finish all the stories bc im not rly progressing anymore

as for what i actually played recently i can HIGHLY recommend Dread Delusion, one of the best videogame narratives

Warframe was also good, it had a pretty cool cinematic story and it was completely free, it's literally the only true F2P MMO out there

i also played Enderal, a TC mod for skyrim, while it was amateurish i'd actually consider it leagues ahead of skyrim itself, if not just for the cutscenes alone

I’ve played both warframe and enderal and yeah they’re both great. I’ve heard of NieR but don’t really know anything about so i gotta look into it.

If you want any recommendations from me I’d say try Drova. It’s a pixel art indie RPG with probably 30-40 hrs of content on your first playthrough. The story is OK, but it’s not what makes it good. It’s just fun to explore and progress

And I’d also heavily recommend the Persona series, specifically 3-5. Not everyone’s cup of tea but i love it. You’ve probably heard of it but it’s a narrative focused turn based RPG

It doesn’t require any modification, you can just install it and play. Any extra modification is purely because you chose to do so.

The health system definitely is more difficult than most other modpacks bc the body health system mod isn’t even a thing in the trilogy modpacks

And I don’t know what you mean by no loot. You get stash coordinates with almost every task you complete, and they’re almost always nearby

I prefer rifles with grenade launchers. I'm way more deadly and accurate launching grenades than throwing them.

I wouldn't call the amount trickle. You get 150 armor-piercing rounds daily. If you sleep for 10 days, you get 1.500. Not a whole lot, but, unless you're shooting rodents and dogs with it, you should be fine, especially since you can drop even exoskeletons like flies with this ammo.

They are both available to do the work to crack open the UAV module for information. Nitro is cheaper. The downside is, Senka is exposed to the stash locations and goes there first and dies.

If you give the module to Nitro, Senka is found at the final Strelok stash, with the UAV module.

Let me try this again. There are three stashes that are called the Strelok Note stashes. If you know where they are and you search them BEFORE they are activated, it produces a bug, where once you get to the third one, it will be empty of its contents. It does not matter the order you search them in. No matter if Nitro or Novikov opens the UAV Module. Does not require any participation from Senka. The bug does not happen if you wait to search them once they get activated.

Most people don't see this because they don't find the stashes until they are activated.

This must be from older versions, maybe. On my last playthrough, the stashes were completely empty before doing the UAV mission and only activated after starting the said mission. Perhaps the developers took note of that bug and fixed it by making the stashes empty until you do the mission.

It's the act of searching them, regardless of any contents, before activation that produces the bug. I don't know about the digital version of CoP now. This was in 2009 on the actual disc version.

I did search all three of them before the UAV mission. They were all empty and after activating the mission, the bug didn't happen.

However, I undestand the reasoning. It's not worth risking this. Simply go past the Ash Heap anomaly, find the UAV and start the mission.

I'm not playing any version of CoP now. I'm playing Stalker 2. The version I played of CoP had 4 major bugs. GSC provided two patches and in 2010, the International version of CoP had the two patches incorporated into the retail version. They never fixed the other two problems. Maybe years later in the Steam version, they did. The 4 bugs had nothing to do with what we are talking about. They were other issues.

I wasn't talking about other bugs. All I said is that this particular bug never happened to me and, on my latest playthrough, a few months ago, I searched the stashes before the UAV mission. They were all empty and they didn't bug out after taking the UAV mission.

I waited until AFTER the Strelok Notes stashes were activated to get the contents and I went to Novikov and Senka lived. Because there are variables on that. Snag can be killed by Sultan's Escort. Snag can be wounded by Sultan's Escort. You can kill Sultan's Escort. You can let Sultan's Escort go and see where he walks to. One time I let Sultan's Escort live and he was shot by a Freedom in an Exo at Morgan's camp across the road.

hey folks. i finally got around to playing the first game after buying it on sale years prior. i started a playthrough on stalker difficulty, but heard people online say that master difficulty where it is at. i just got to the Bar for the first time. I have vague memories of trying the game for a couple hours when i first bought it, playing on master from the gt go, and the difficulty was for sure partly why i bounced off of it the first time round.

That being said, i feel like i know the game a little better now, from the aim to the ai mechanics. should i start a new game on master difficulty, or keep going as i was, and maybe return for a second playthrough perhaps some years later still?

For Pripyat-1, I suggest using a SGI-5k, preferably with the M203 underbarrel grenade launcher

It's a great all-purpose weapon, accurate, high rate of fire, good mag size, etc.

Reliability and Durability both degrade your gear's quality at a slower rate. The lower the quality of your gear, the worse they perform, so it basically allows you to use them longer

Nah not yet, i did all side quests possible, hunted artifacts etc to get a good gear and the only quest left are at the Jupiter plant now, but at least i am ready for pripyat i guess

Anyways I was going to pick up the Vintar BC at the freedom base but it's just not there. I know it's not supposed to be on the floor and it clips from the attic but I also went to the attic as you can see in the pic the ammo box was there but no Vintar to be found.
I tried reloading an older save and also exiting the area but it didn't change anything.
