Some jobs you are given, especially when the targets have individual
orange skulls for each person, once you kill the last one, they all vanish.
My suggestion is to start looting the dead, before you kill the last person.
That way you get all the loot and then when you kill the last person, the
only loot you miss, is them. Why does it work this way? No idea why.

If they pull something off with 1.7, then good for them and big Kudus, coz I have loved STALKER for a very long time, S2 has always had potential, but never realised. They story is abhorrent, IMO, and just refuse to play it, the world is devoid of life, the NPC barely do anything, just stad there most of the time, A-life is has always been a sloppily implemented spawn simulator, that has mad the zone, busier than terminal 4 at London Heathrow.

I really want them to make the zone, actually feel like the zone, and I don't think they can do that, but I am hoping to be proved wrong.

I think they can do it. I've been paying attention with each patch and every time there's been noticeable improvement and steps in the right direction. I love S.T.A.L.K.E.R too, I've been playing since SoC; I want this game to succeed and be a sequel that is truly worthy of the legacy that the original trilogy left behind.

I disagree on the story too; I think this is the best story a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game has ever had and I think that it's the closest they've gotten to capturing the spirit of Roadside Picnic and Tarkovsky's Stalker.

I mean, I think it's pretty clear that it was trying to wrap up unanswered questions from the trilogy. I don't know why you think the Monolith and C-Con would no longer be a thing. Sure, Strelok canonically killed off the C-Con in SoC, but it's clear in CoP that something is still controlling or directing certain groups of Monolith. There's also mentions of "The Group", which have a different name by the time of S2 but clearly still have their tendrils wrapped around everything.

We also don't know yet what the upcoming DLCs are going to elaborate/expand upon, or what questions they'll answer. There's still more story elements to explore.

Quick follow-up regarding the retailer and the delay of the physical goodies: GSC probably chose the retailer they did for distribution reasons. Maybe that was the only one that was able to ship the physical stuff worldwide? This is just speculation on my part though.

The developers still in Kyiv have to deal with shit like power outages and presumably times with zero internet too, on top of literal bombardment.

It honestly varies quite a bit, but it'll happen just about anywhere, I get the frame drops from closing my stash, walking past or looking at NPCs, entering into combat, randomly during combat, sometimes with absolutely no event or anything tied to it at all

Pausing the game and waiting will almost always fix it, or if I look at the floor for a second or two, or redo the action that made the frame drop start in the first place, I mentioned opening my stash, sometimes when that gives me a frame drop if I go and open and close my stash again, I get the frames back
