Why is the master difficulty only available at the start of the game? Are you really asking the playerbase to start an entirely new game, after they spend a few hundred hours in the game already, just to experience a higher difficulty? I think most people want a higher difficulty because they unlocked all the good gear which makes the game too easy to wander through. It would make more sense to give the ability to activate the difficulty then. Like make it a "you can only switch to this difficulty once" kind of thing.

The limit of active offline NPCs is also pretty small. Basically, there's no real persistence and NPCs spawns feel kinda fake

I can think of at least three reasons:

1. There is one big world/level, not multiple ones
2. The game runs like ass, you need dlss and beefy gear to have decent frame rates which is mostly caused by engine they have picked, so there isn't much room to squeeze in additional feature that would require more CPU power
3. Not enough time to properly playtest it, the game was in some sort of dev hell, but at least it wasn't fully gutted like Bloodlines 2

On the other hand, having simple matrix in the background with npcs represented as dots/records and making rng rolls to determine who survived the encounter off screen seems simple/not that performance-heavy to do

Outer Worlds 2 has a “Flaw” system. Much like “Quirks” from Wasteland.
A decent perk, with a debuff.

I found one that’s essentially “Crunchy Knees”- You’ve spent so much time crouching, that whenever you go into or come out of a crouch, your knees pop audibly for the enemy to hear you.

So like. My Stealth is good.
As long as I start sneaking far away from people.

The trilogy games have crouch and low crouch. Movement in either, was a form of stealth, albeit slow.
Unfortunately, we only have crouch in Stalker 2. No idea why we can't also have low-crouch. Very annoying.

The two biggest grinds in Stalker 2, are the cost of repairs, with the other being the cost of upgrades.
Both take coupons. The prices set for both, makes the Player realize he or she has to grind for coupons.
You can add a Mod to adjust and lower the cost of repairs, which in effect, allows more coupons for upgrades.

There should never be a broke Stalker with mods, unless they use the hardcore mods.

I’ve never really paid mind to that. I’ll use the shitty weapons regardless of the stage I’m at in the game. But I have dabbled in BB and it is nice for free play

Legit. Like a Borderlands Jakobs revolver.
From hip fire. Fires as fast as I can. ADS is slower.
As long as I never let my mag run dry, I maintain a constant damage buff.
