I find it funny that giving an abundant amount of 9x18, 5.45 and 12 gauge buckshot is like a tradition to the Stalker series, the only different with 2 is how there are more guns that use 9x18 and 5.45 more effectively, meaning there are more reason to use them😂
If I going to rank the ammunitions base on how frequently I found them on enemies NPC, I would be something like this

1. 9x18
2. 5.45
3. Buckshots
4. 45 ACP: this ammunition can actually be found on NPCs more often since 1.6 rolled, which help pretty much
5. 5.56 :way less common than the aboves
6. 9mm: good thing they're cheap enough
7. 7.62 x 54: you can actually find these way more frequently at end game
8. .308 :at least enemies spawn with these guns sometime
9. Railgun battery: good luck with these, spawn way less frequently than 308
10. rocket : doesn't spawn with enemies at all, iirc there're less than 15 in total, combining pick-ups and ones you get from the launchers themselves
