I continued my game that I took a quick break from.
It was basically 2 Noontiders and I outside the WPS.
Burers kept coming from the north and we just kept shooting.
I went through my entire loadout of 308, something I've never done before.
I had to switch over to my GP-37 and some HP ammo that I had for it.
By the time the firefight finished, I had 12 Burer Toes, and not all had them to skin.
I went to the northeast corner of the WPS and looked over the wall out in the woods.
I counted 6 Burers all together in a cluster, walking about. I got the hell out of there.
I went back to the Wild Island base for more ammo and repairs. I never got to go
to my destination, that was some small village down the road to the east of the WPS.

Not sure, I didnt head further north from Polissya, fought the mercs; grabbed the suit and stash, then back to wild island. I'll probably look when I get off work but looking at an online map, the road heads north into Concrete Forest and ends

Nah, just mutants be sorta wacky with spawns. I personally havent encountered and issue but I have got an unusual amount of mutants sometimes. Like 30 dogs, 4-5 burers, 8 bloodsuckers.

I was able to go where the green arrows are. At the red "X" I heard a Bloodsucker
on the other side of the wall fighting the soldiers. I got as far as the sentry tower
at the gate and killed the soldiers there, but realized there were too many IPSF
soldiers inside the compound that just kept coming out of the buildings, so
I quickly realized that there was no way anyone could try to take it over.

I like that. It makes sense there would be so many soldiers there that you would eventually get overwhelmed. A nice unpassable obstacle that gives the player an illusion that they could make it
