I'm playing through the game and I can't stop thinking about how much better it will be on my second playthrough when I don't have to keep aiming at moving targets at 30 fps

Not gonna lie, I try to get as close as possible to identify faction members, which is fun in such that it adds risk and an element of skill expression in being able to get close and pull back if they're not on-side

I do think OXA adjusts enemy detection, though I have no proof of this, so that might be why its a tad easier to do, but thats anecdotal, could be wrong

I'm using that npc combat overhaul or whatever mod, which is quite nice. Enemies don't detect you through walls anymore

Only if your enemies saw YOU, would they be red dots.
Otherwise your Mini-Map would not display them.

Unless you had the infrared scanner upgrade in the Tactical Helmet.
Then it would allow the Player to see enemies through walls (CoP).

It’s usually centered behind a tree trunk, or bush that only they can see through.

but in general I've found it's more useful to just pack a pistol for the limber mutants and for the bigger ones just use an smg or whatever, shotguns feel kinda unwieldy

One in the area I smoked Beard/Sultan, and another in a blown out wine cellar, in Swamps.

But. One looks Hi-Cap, and the other one looks Side by Side.
What did GSC mean by this?

I kinda like this 45rnd mag I have for Dnipro.
I see there’s schematics for a side by side.
But… I dunno.
That trade off doesn’t seem worth it.
The extra 15 rounds means more to me than swapping after 30.

Once you go to SIRCAA, there are a lot of side-missions that disappear from the game at the various Faction bases.
