It’s so ridiculously bad it’s hard to find words. Based on an outdated translation too.

So many issues with it, I wish they just retranslated it.

They could even keep the old voiceover accessible in the list. Call it “legacy Ukrainian” and “legacy English” or something and let people who grew fond of those voices use them.

But it’s insane that after 20 years and 2 reissues English speaking people still can’t experience the trilogy properly

Yeah, it's got that Elder Scrolls problem where they didn't have the budget for a proper cast, so you have a handful of people voicing the same characters, which is why Honta has the exact same voice as Magpie and what's-his-name at the Boiler anomaly.

The delivery is also just....so much goofier in CoP. Not all the time mind you, but bizarrely frequently.

Oh, I don’t have issues with a limited cast. With enough voice range, one actor can voice many people without issues. SoC and CS have many people voiced by the same actor with no issues

But the delivery, the accents, it’s so stupid.

I don't play with the entire hud off but i have the reticle and aggro indicator off and there's a mod that lets you customize your compass, I removed the enemy markers on mine.

I didnt have that issue consistently. I got massive framerate drop when a barrel one of them wanted to throw at me got merged with another.

If that barrel merging didn't happen it wouldn't do it otherwise.

That would explain the freeze/crash I once experienced. I also had a weird thing happen where if I picked up any of those RPGs, my inventory would glitch out, I couldn't pause the game, and all this other weird stuff.

Unsure. For me I was able to reload a save and it would stop the framerate drop. What settings you play on? Graphics and etc.

Low for everything, I've only got a 1660ti 6GB. Everything else meets recommended requirements but that's definitely my weakest component.

If you go back and watch the activation cutscene, you can see the desired link path on the screens. Dalin wished to connect to the generators and use the alpha artifacts to make that happen and more. His idea was fairly calculated and would've gone as planned if not for Faust and ofc scar. The image I sent shows the shift in the link signal path. Instead of connecting to the generators in the north, Faust hijacked the control and directed it to the Duga. Scar is already known for supplying him with psi emitters and we perfectly know that there is basically too many ex monolithians within every faction in the zone, not just Noon. The psi emitter could've been used to seize control over them (since they have no psi resistance at all, unlike normal people.), so he used an inside guy to sabotage the whole process. Another scenario involves Hermann, but it's a bit meh.

After the activation and before the whole laboratory collapse, the screen that was showing the antennas or signal links was leading to the north (since it's a map with dots on it), then it started to show an error, and after that, before skif falls down, the mapping changed and shifted to the duga.

The duga is obviously part of the later parts of the story, so you know how it played out and what the antennas there does

Hermann hated dalin since he kinda hijacked his research and the sircaa head post. He helped Faust get the scanner (and thw alpha artifact in it ) from the beginning.
