Does anybody know why it is in my PDA upgrade menu, there's an empty slot for the helmet area of the SSP-100 discovery armor with an option to upgrade it with a suppressor... But then when I take it to a technician, you can't even select the helmet area slot. Notice it's greyed out in the second pic

Does the blueprint for the suppressor have to be acquired first before you can even click that area?

Ah so nothing terrible. It’s maybe just a memory leak that’s the issue. Would be easy to tell if you can get the info up. When you get the lag again you can just close the game and see if the vram usage drops. If it doesn’t it’s a memory leak. Atleast I think that’s atleast how you can tell. Since I’m guessing you have a 8gb card your usage is pretty high with the game running so it’s hard to tell.

ah, that gave me flashback to when I got that accidentaly and got so happy before losing it because a quest bugged and I had to reload a save

so, whenever I get the lag, it appears my FB usage and power% actually drop significantly, but my BUS usage spikes

the changes in the graph are right when lag occurs and the game turns into a slideshow

this happens when I approach the building to talk to Richter, I can run around outside without it happening

not sure what this means or what actions to take towards fixing it, but if the game worked i'd certainly be playing it a lot

it seems like if I could "unlock" my GPU's functions to work normally in this case, I would have no problem running the game

it's also saying my GPU usage is at maximum most of the time, but the temps remain as if this isn't true because my GPU cranks at 78c when it's going full out

That area is high in radiation, it looks like you are not there when it comes to main missions yet, so I will save you the spoilers. But even if you did get to that point in the game there is a way to avoid the radiation. I am not sure about that orb thing though, doesn't look like one of those electric flying anomalies.

my guess is that it has something to do with nanite since you see tiny parts of the cnpp / pripyat buildings slowly appearing instead of the whole building as a whole
it CAN be fixed 100% but perhaps it takes time

That CPU is creating a bottleneck. Its not really for gaming. It also looks like you dont have xmp enabled on your memory

i know and for some reason xmp doesn't want to work right or adrenalin just isnt recognising the update

its only 77 mhz off the rated speed (according to adrenalin)

I had this problem when I built my system for me it was because I was running a manual overclock. I had to reset my memory to the default 2133mhz then enable xmp which brought it up to 3200mhz.
