Lol how many damn thunderberries I saw when I was just trying to farm for some of the common ones I missed in going for the collection achievement, eventually realized was better off loading a pre-SIRCAA save because spawns seem to flip on common/rares & thankfully it tracks across the whole slot, not just your most recent progress

The progression ladder for the "Western" (5.56 and similar) assault rifles felt less...developed when compared to the Warsaw Pact and other non-Western-origin weapons.

Agreed, that mapgenie pro was a godsend in chasing down the blueprints. I had made sure to get the missable ones during my playthrough and then towards the tail end of it, I literally just walked from Pripyat to Swamps zigzagging through all regions between blueprint locations on mapgenie, took nearly 10 hours, but was so satisfying when the achievement actually popped

Still way more fun completing that journey of meandering the map vs. the horrible ~150m spawn RNG save & reload tactic of collecting all the artifacts, I had gotten most of them naturally just playing across my length of the game, but farming for those last 15 or so I needed for achievement was pretty miserable

It has a way to make the plate run from 98% to 100%, which would be to increase the resolution by the AMD (super virtual resolution) drive, so the board will run the game at a larger resolution and resignate to a smaller resolution.

There literally is a difference tho. A-Life npcs could berely move in offline mode when they exit your bubble, they were kinda broken on that patch.

before or after 1.5, it makes no difference. they are just a random encounter. holding no story. it doesnt matter if the next group you met was a mercenary group. a monolith group. bandits. before or after, you met the same groups. its still just a random spawn.

how much do you care a random group of freedom moves about the zone, encountering other random groups? you cant see every npc interaction at the same time, thats happening all over the zone. it doesnt matter to you. as long as it matters when you encounter it

A-life is a beautiful idea. a fantasy. but it doesnt work in real world application

the closest it got to working was in older stalker games. and as this developer learns how to work with unreal 5, which wasnt made to make a-life work, im sure they will try their hardest. they had their own engine, perfectly suited for this kind of mechanic.

is it beautiful to see npc's traverse anomaly fields, hunting artifacts? of course it is! but only when you see it happening when you encounter it. outside of your bubble, ya dont give a shit

because in everyone's game, your the protagonist

Not very different from a Bethesda Encounter System.

Agreed weather overhaul and 24-hour day cycle have been amazing as well, I was big on Metro Exodus and loved those similar modifiers on NG+ they have done wonders for the atmosphere here as well, man did I resent the original timescale lol.
