So its delayed due to quality issues and they aren't happy with the produced products.
You can refund the collectors edition and you basically get a full refund meaning you keep the game for free.
So I think of getting a refund then. Get all that money back and keep the game for free. Not gonna wait another 10 months for a uncertain physical edition that costs 400 bucks.

It's entirely subjective. A lot of people get pretty high on their horses about GAMMA but it is pretty granular in how you can adjust to to your preferences. As stalker or not stalker as you desire. I say this as someone who has been playing since SoC dropped and still have a hard copy of it.

Ill give you a tip: The only real things unique to the Ultimate edition are the backpack and the Artifact Lamp. You can have the backpack likely made by some bozo on Etsy for probably $75, and the Artifact Lamp you could definitely 3D print and have painted by someone who does 40k figs if you want it to look really good.
Past that, you can readily buy the Collectors Physical Edition on Amazon/Ebay for like $200-250. You can buy the patches, Figurine, and other stuff commonly and easily seperately everywhere

They have half a year to figure out how to manufacture something that was already fully manufactured previously. 90% of the stuff is made of damn paper/cardboard or simple fabric that can be printed. The only semi-complex things were the figurine, lamp (even then that's arguable), and backpack (also arguable given you could hand that off to a sweatshop in a pinch)
