Not action, just cause 4 is action. If not hardcore survival, realistic tactical shooter then. Same point applies, bullets drop people just the same no matter the round depending on factors such as body armor, velocity, round type (AP, FMJ, Hollowpoint) but point remains, if I shoot dog with no armor, 5.45 should hit the same from akms-74 as ak-74m

Not every game needs progression. It’s a realistic game set after chornobyl events. Grab gun and go on journey, changing gun depending on preference but all guns should be more or less equal

I think the problem is, the game as so much potential... the devs are doing great at fixing the issues, but there is so much that they have done that is dragging this game back... And they aren't showing any signs of being able to achieve the level, this game could achieve.

only time i feel like i'd consider HP is darts in a shotgun. the damage increase is practically doubled and then a little more. even if the mutant has armor, they make the Ram-2 or at least the Texan one, able to 1 tab Snorks in the legs as i found out in Pripyiat.

I spent the longest time using HP on mutants and im pretty certain it still doesnt matter in comparison to the trilogy

I use a couple rounds of AP to the head... drop like flies, play it cool and you can drop a squad of 5 snorks in less than a clip... and if it goes tits up, you don;t have 6 hour wait to reload... You just have to deal with animation completing then not adding the ammo... 😄

To be fair though, latest gameplay has shown that they are doing what they can to avoid that such as making Naoe tha main character since yasuke doesn’t have access to any assassin abilities, climbing, stealth etc. they know he won’t be played much. As for the architecture, some is accurate, some not. But the Japanese government even said they don’t care because it’s a videogame, a fictional world. Cherry blossom trees are out of season but it makes the world look nice. They are also starting to listen to players again by adding option to remove the anime filter during abilities, looking towards a lethal difficulty like Ghost of Tsushima etc

Try it out, I think it actually went from 15 (not 15%, but closer to 300% - 3x 5 full bars) down to 10%. I don't think it was supposed to be as good as it was. It's noticeably worse at countering rads now. Does not fully cancel out 1 max rad artifact.

From Rostok, north-east to the village with grav anomalies, through poison hole, then grav anomalies again north of slag heap, to chem anomalies by cement factory, fire anomalies north and east of cement factory, electro south of cement factory, then grav anomalies again south of that, electro south of slag heap, fire anomalies at the brood, then into slag heap to sell (huron pays well for artifacts). That's my regular farming route.

My routes are the 5 around Cement, the burning house, then to the road that is a just all fire anomalies along it, then to the repair centre, up to the chemical one... then back to cememt.

Fast travel to slap heap, go to elctric field, then down to the detention centre, across the fire one in the junk field, up to chemical in the big toxic pit, then to the graventation one just north of slag head... then back to camp.

Fast travel, lesser, go south to big weird one to the south east... then across the south road to the fire one, head north west to the village, for the chem one, the east to the bubble field then back home.

Nice quick and easy.. then you can hed to rostock, go to the electric field, then make your way across popping of at differnt place, to the electric field at Malachite, this bit is optional.

Weird Water artefact nerfed from 15% radiation reduction to 10%

Pistol and SMG silencer recieved a nerf to distance from 30% to 15% but recieved reduction in durability cost per shot from 15% to 10%

That is the thing with blood suckers, they are supposed to go down as they are not as tough as uther mutants... They rely on being almost invisible and ambusing prey/victims.

And should do massive damage though....

it's not that strong but it had armor that iirc blocks damage like entirely if you hit it the wrong way

I think also the damage dropoff thing might be misleading a bit. It's noticeable even in early game against unarmored bandits that the AKM74 S struggles with actually one shotting to the head at long range (but within the 100m draw distance, obviously) while its damage dropoff range is 200m.
So is 200m the theoretical range at which damage drops to 0?
And its max range of 300m, is that the theoretical range at which the bullet just slows completely and drops to the ground?

So at 100m, the draw range, does that mean damage has dropped to half, if 200m is the range at which it would theoretically drop to 0?

I wish the chart guy would clarify these things for us.

i did that too but my Spas lost too much damage from there and my AK first took too long to do it that i got annoyed and reloaded my quicksave then i did it in much less ammo somehow.

the thing is that your gun, is damaged when you get shot. then shooting it wears it down too, using alt ammo types wears it down faster and using a supressor also.

Best way to kill polities... shot once at them, wait till the put up a debris wall.... then run upto them at point blank range and melt them... They should drop quickly...
