It’s a productivity device, recording music and I think graphic design not sure about this one tho, not really meant for workstation use or gaming sure it has the specs that would be good for it but not the compatibilities

So yeah if you’re doing music or graphic design then yeah I’d say it’s a good idea because it will last you for a very long time

i’ll answer it this way…
when buying RAM, the frequency you see on the packaging is its rating, not what it runs at out of the box

#

so, when installing RAM, in your case, 4000 MHz, that 4000 MHz has to be set in the motherboard’s BIOS

#

so, given that the i7 supports up to 3200 MHz (as you said), you can still use the RAM that is rated for 4000 MHz

#

the motherboard will probably just let you go as high as 3200 MHz though
