my note 20 ultra is constantly putting itself into "do not disturb" mode through routines, except I never set a routine for that to happen and when i go to routines theres nothing more i can do to turn it off. i can manually go into the do not disturb mode settings and change it to slide the switches off but within a couple hours it just turns the do not disturb mode back on again by itself.

With the air you gotta make sure you realize the 256gb (base) ssd is about half the speed of the 512gb version, and with Mac using unified memory (allows it to use storage as memory if it runs out of memory) you gotta make sure you either get a bigger ssd or don't mind a slower ssd and realize if you run out of memory it'll really slow down compared to what it should

I can't really speak for how long it might last but I've used a 9th gen for school work which was really nice cuz apple pencil. We also had another 9th gen ipad around the house for 2 or 3 years now and well there is nothing incredible about the performance but at the same time I don't recall having too many slow downs either. definitely would consider getting one if you do any drawing or note taking

So i accidentally added in my two 10subs which i won’t bring over. So i have a set of 50watts rms (225peak) speakers, 60watts rms (225peak) speakers, 600watts rms sub(1200peak), and a head unit at 25watts rms (50 peak). This means i’ll be pulling 61amps at rms and more with harder hitting songs. A 12v light strip is what 2-5amps? So i should only be pulling roughly 65amps constant with moments of higher. Each amplifier i have already has a dedicated fuse and the total peak amps calc out to 140amps and my power supply would shut down before it would even think of supplying that much. So i don’t think it’d fry the lights but that’s what i am making sure i am understanding right

SATA drives tend to be much less robust than M.2 drives. The controllers are a lot cheaper.

That usually means it was stolen, even a hard reset won't help in that case. I'd recommend contacting your local PD and giving them the IMEI number. If they say yes it was stolen, they'll send an officer to reclaim it and you won't be charged with receiving stolen property.
If it is stolen and you don't contact the police yourself, if you get caught with it you will be charged.
If it's not stolen you have to contact the original owner to unlock it through Apple support.

Hi, was hoping someone could help me out a bit. I've not really dabbled in networking, hence am a complete newbie to all of this. Recently I moved to a larger house and have noticed a major drop in wifi speeds at the edges of the house. Regardless of whether it's a 2.4ghz or 5ghz band, I get a max of about 20-30 megabit on my 200 megabit plan

I was hoping someone could help me find a way to boost signal strength to those edges of my house while maintaining the speed and latency

I was recommended using an AP but I don't have any particular experience with them so I don't know the set-up, maintenance, pros n cons n what not.

Using multiple APs is the ideal route as signal boosters and repeaters often still result in a major drop in speeds. Multiple APs would essentially be setting up a mesh network.

For example I have 2 APs from Unifi plugged into my main ethernet router in the basement. In Unifi's software you need to you connect the devices and setup a wifi network that will automatically switch between the 2 so there is no changing wifi while you walk in the house.

Unifi's software is particularly easy I'd say but might be a bit out of price range. The other thing I would recommend is check if your current router supports mesh networks. I believe some brands (asus might be one iirc) have been putting feature where you can take old routers that also support it and turn it into a mesh network with multiple APS, the routers acting at the AP

Those use your electrical wires to transmit network signals
Idk what protocol they use, but what they basically do is send high frequency signals (like 1000hz or smth I forget) through the electrical cable, which is a low frequency (50-60hz)
And it separates the network signals using a high pass filter to essentially make your electrical system turn into a network cable

There are some cons though, which is for some wiring in houses, it may not work as well
