I'm having an issue with some Wins 11 installation things: Backstory: My windows 10 was extremely buggy so I upgraded to Windows 11 (which is working marvelously so far). After upgrading, I realized that I needed my passwords to get into my website accounts, so I went to the Windows.old folder for Firefox and I moved the key4.db and logins.json files, and voila, I can log into my sites again.

Chrome doesn't seem to be so easy. I moved the login data and web data files, and I still don't have my passwords.

Before someone asks if I saved my passwords in my google profile account, the answer is I saved some of them; but not all of them.

So I really need to transfer my other passwords from my windows.old chrome installation, if it's possible

"don't allow" on Defender will stop the program from completely running. While it's still possible for some of the program (which may or may not be a virus) to run, it isnt that likely.

If you're doing an upgrade install (meaning "I have windows 10 installed already") then you need to boot windows 10 and start the upgrade from the usb while running 10.

If you don't have anything installed, you want a custom install.

I'm having a issue with this one obnoxious folder.
I can't delete it whatsoever, I tried using the command prompt w/administrator. It didn't work after that, so I used some app tools to forcefully remove the folder, subfolders and files. I then realized I needed access so I transferred ownership to my name, it didn't work. I tried transferring the ownership for everyone except some programs, did not work also. I removed inheritance from others except everyone and my user, it also did not work.
I cannot delete it, or transfer ownership whatsoever including the subfolders, and files too.
This folder I cannot get past it whatsoever. I get the fact that its because there's a defense system, & that they do not want viruses coming inside of it. I thought it was encrypted but that was just me.
I still get a "access" is denied response
