Hey, I'm trying to install windows 10 on my secondary pc but my screen keeps being black right after I pressed the power button. Everything is pluged in and the graphics card works tried it on my primary pc. The USB is plugged in with windows on it.

I already tried a different graphics card, changing the cmos battery, looking if something isn't connected all the way(everything is plugged in), a different monitor, a different cable.

There's a few things you can try but if they don't work you'll need a clean install. In admin powershell, run this command:
Get-AppXPackage | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
Then reboot and try to open the store again. If that didn't work, go back into powershell and run these commands, which reset the update service:

i am in need of some big help with Disk Cloning to a new Storage device from a Sata SSD to a Samsung 980 pro m.2 on a compatible b550 motherboard with updated firmware,

I have been following a Jay2Cent vid in dec 2020 (cause it was the most recent and trusted vid at the time), tried booting -> wouldn't boot off it. So I tried to fix the boot registry via media creation tool and the software wouldn't detect it but the hardware did, reformatted the drive, tried Samsung clone tools -> failed instantly upon start. Tried to do a clean install of win 10 on it ->worked fine and able to boot of m.2

So what is the problem with this damn m.2 now and how can i cone my sata to it???

I always do a fresh windows install when I am using a new OS Drive.

Lets you clean out any Registry gunk from your prior install.

Disable some of your C-states and see if the problem persists. That changes what power mode the computer is allowed to use on sleep.

If you really just want browser in separate os use some single purpose distro like tails. So like you would boot the os on a pc from usb drive, do whatever, then shut the os down and it deletes all history and stuff. It does use tor network for browser so it a bit slow

If you can't run Command Prompt as an administrator, the issue might be related to your user account. Sometimes your user account can get corrupted, and that can cause the issue with Command Prompt. Repairing your user account is quite hard, but you can fix the problem simply by creating a new user account.

If a virus/hacker was able to read your boot partition and saw a grub boot loader on there, that would be a dead giveaway. Extracting a config file would be simple too. The issue comes twofold here, and are more trouble to work around than they're worth:

1. Windows doesn't like when you try to mount the boot drive. It's highly protected when you're in the OS, for obvious reasons. That would be rootkit heaven.
2. By default Windows doesn't have the drivers necessary to read EXT file systems like those most Linux installs use. A virus could in theory inject those drivers or enable the Windows feature, but both of those are very high level attacks.

Uninstall the device, re-install the device. I would say that the driver or the service is hung. More likely the driver. Another question you might ask is whether he recently updated the audio system drivers.
