Take out all the drives except the one you want to install Windows to. Do the Media Creation Tool again. Then try the install with ONLY the drive installed that you want Windows on

I’ve deleted the partitions and left it as unallocated and converted it to GPT and gave me another error and left me with n 116mb unallocated space and the a partition 1 with the rest of the drive space. And I can not deleted the partition anymore

If you have any overclocks active, go back to stock before installing, this includes XMP for memory

The only way is to brute force the password using a rainbow table and possibly transformations. It can take hours, days, or years to find the password depending on how strong it is and what you know about the password already, and it's typically done with a powerful GPU.

my biggest concern is microsoft tries to push unifying everything to live accounts, and I reaalllly hate that. The reboot step was assuming you were booting on the computer it was installed from, since it's for a different device you can simply remove it and boot on the other device

it only provided me with the stopcode. Blue screen info only shows driver power state failure. I even tried removing the drivers but when I try restarting the blue screen appears and no changes are saved. I hope I won't have to format my pc.

Hey guys! Yesterday I was trying to create a bootable USB windows installer from my mac for my newly built pc. Creating the usb stick seemed to work since it opened up the windows installer. However once I pass the first few steps I get this message:
A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a DVD, USB, Hard disk driver. If you have a CD, DVD, or USB flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now.
Note: If the installation media for Windows is in the DVD driver or on a USB driver, you can safely remove it for this step.
I have no idea what to do now, is something wrong with the mother board? What drivers is it talking about... thanks for your help :)

The bootable USB wasn't created properly. It's trying to use MBR format instead of GPT. Did you choose MBR or GPT for the disk format?
This is a problem when using ISO burners.

Not sure, I will list the exact steps I used to make it (on macOS, <username> is replaced with my actual username ofc):
- Plug in USB stick
- Terminal:
diskutil eraseDisk FAT32 WINDOWS /dev/disk2 - Download Latest ISO from microsoft.
- Rename that iso file to
install.img - Terminal:
diskutil unmountDisk /dev/disk2 - Terminal:
sudo dd if=/Users/<username>/Downloads/install.img of=/dev/disk2 bs=1024 - Unplug usb and stick it into new PC

Well, here's something to try. Let's see if I can organize it properly
Add/Remove programs and Uninstall SCPToolkit if you haven't already
1.Go to control panel
2.Click "Hardware and Sound"
3.When you're there click "Devices and Printers"
4. When you're there go to your keyboard and right click then click properties. Keep in mind that the keyboard must be plugged in.
5.when you're there you should be in "General". Just click "Hardware" From step 6 to the ones after it are really important so just focus and try to understand
6.Now there should be some things that you can click on right under "Device Functions" when you click one of them there should be some statistics or properties under. One of the properties you will see is "Manufacturer". You will find that some of these have "ScpToolKit compatiable device" written after the "Manufacturer". What you're gonna have to do is double left click on those ones (that have "ScpToolKit compatiable device").
7.You should be in "General" again. Just click on "Change settings".
8.Again you should be in "General" just go and click "Driver" then go down and click "Uninstall". Trust me that will do nothing but to reset the keyboard.
9.When you do that just do the same thing with each Device functions. Basically, repeat step 6-8 ONLY WITH THE ONES THAT HAVE "ScpToolKit compatiable device" AS A MANUFACTURER.
After all this, and you've found all the SCP as manufacturers, restart the machine.

you can try older version, tbh idk because they way bootcamp works has also changed much. I think in some recent macs it doesn’t use usb or dvd installers anymore which can make it difficult

VMware has Workstation, which isn't free. You can try virtualbox if all you want is a Windows VM on your Mac.
If you need bootable media, I was able to create a bootable thumb drive with ver 2004 but, it was from a Windows machine. I haven't tried 20H2 yet.

When you know exactly what you want your computer to do, command line is the fastest way to do it, and this applies to Windows and macOS as well.
The command line is more prevalent in Linux because it's a universal way to provide help online.
Linux has so many different desktop environments, distributions, etc that just giving people command line commands to execute that will work regardless makes a lot more sense than trying to explain 10 different ways to do something via GUI (because there are 10 different desktop environments, etc).
I will say though that if you are using a good shell with completion, you can just kind of start typing commands and use tab completion to fill in the rest and help you do the options, etc without having to memorize absolutely everything.

to now
- okay a couple weeks ago, i went to settings on my pc and reset it that way. i reset everything and deleted everything.
