yeah same one I think
yeah
@dense palm whats your budget and use case?
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400, Radeon RX 6600 XT, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
And have any asthetic preferences?
its what I have so far
didnt i make you a parts list?
@dense palm you need wifi? And i guess you're going for as much rgb as possible?
prolly just do mp33 as well instead of p31
yeah they want wifi, im unsure on rgb
and i think they like the look of the aio
well less rgb
Okay sure
just ok with the rams and the liquid cooler rgb
less rgb will get you better perf
i like my useless shiny rbg though
also using the arctic p12 fans for the bottom air and back airflow
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400, Radeon RX 6600 XT, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
You really like the look of aios that much?
I guess this is more like it?
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
oh wait, one more change
wait nvm forgot p360a is on sale
Btw there's no bottom intake
could still be back or top exhaust
oh rip
Yes
Also the p12 isn't needed
The aio and included case fans will cover enough, you don't need to fill every fan slot
just back fan then
id do this over an aio though
and the price on the 3070 is nice
not sure if I will need 3070 for games I play
I dont play any fps or high demand stuff
@dense palm https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jm67Rv
Or
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/r9bFsL imo

PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600KF, Radeon RX 6700 XT, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
Might as well go 6700xt, it's only 100$ more than 6600xt and it's a good bit better, like 25% or so
Will future proof you anyway
fair point
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600KF, Radeon RX 6700 XT, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
Guys my refund got approved just now
thats a great price on the ssd
free heatsink pog
Fps games are actually more cpu demanding usually btw
Tis imma tech deals it
I see
Hopefully lmao
whenever i see good deals like that i want to buy them, then remember i have no use for more storage lol
like the 3080 12gb for $830 a little while ago
spending that much on a gpu when ill get back maybe $550 is not gonna go over well
Yep
can always get rgb strips if you want rgb
im about to build and i bought an i5-11400F, but im thinking of selling it and upgrading to something better, I bought it at a deal so I'd make a bit of profit if I could sell it a little higher than I bought it at, should I?
Ohh right forgot about rgb ram
whatd you pay for it
whats your budget for the build as well
Can you return it?
$100
thats not bad at all
yeah
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400, Radeon RX 6700 XT, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
same but the rgb ram
Ohh you bought it for 100 that's nice
could sell it for 140 or so, or could use it. Not like its a bad cpu anyways
whats your overall budget?
Looks good
yeah, my overall budget is 1.2k ig
Np
now time for my payroll to melt
1k but im okay if i gotta go 200 over
alr one sec, id make a list but pato will prolly make a better one anyways
so ill let him
so I guess mobo/gpu/case from newegg
Gotcha let me do you a list, you in the US?
and everything else from amazon
Lol your lists are getting pretty good bacca
for about 1k with the 11400 you could get a 3060 ti build id imagine
i have a lot of the stuff already
mostly just copy you lmao
for the most part im confident with them
2 weeks for cpu though
i just need a mobo, graphics card, and case
but since youre here ill leave it to you
a sitting computer that can't run
ah, b560 is like $100, p360a is $80, leaves the rest for a 3080

Can you put the parts you have in this and send back the link in the yellow box https://pcpartpicker.com/list
PC Builder
11400 isnt the worse to pair with a 3080, wont see a huge diff unless comparing to 5800x3d or similar
though your psu matters
yeah well I actually bought a prime b560m-a but it arrived damaged so i got a refund, so now I just have a free broken mobo lol
might need to replace psu
I have an evga supernova G6 750w gold plus
I really appreciate both your help and require more once my stuff comes

were happy to help, and thanks for listening
yeah one sec
Cool thanks
No prob
\o/
i'm not entirely sure what cooler I have, its just the stock cooler, should I get better?
eh, can if youd like but with a decent case you don't need to
well if I am going to spend about that much
is it worth the jump to 3060 ti?
or 6700 xt enough
6700xt=3060 ti
oh kk
sometimes a bit better
missing nvidia broadcast tools
personally i prefer nvidia, mainly for ocing reasons though, so if you don't plan to benchmark with overclocking or need video encoding there's not much a difference
also missing nvenc encoder
fsr 2.0 will be out soon, which will make up for lacking dlss
but yeah otherwise it's not that different
Yeah I won't be overclocking
and not recording/streaming?
prob not much
yea, then 6700xt better choice
i have no friends
not worth $100 extra for nothing youll use
relatable
someone once told me what overclocking was
but
my adhd made me forget
what it does
Its like
somethign about exerting more power
making your stuff run faster/better
to make it faster
at the cost of its life
ye
basically making your stuff run at higher clock speeds
getting higher performance
for a lot of people it's not important, cpu ocing isnt super important anymore and doesn't give much extra performance unless you're bencharmking
3060 ti+5%
ram ocing is difficult and annoying, so for most people not worth it

gpu overclocking is fairly easy
Amd has encoder just not as good as nvidias but still perfectly good
and will result in the biggest difference in performance
are there any underbolting that is set on the 6700xt?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/93qxH2 i think this is the link you meant
but for the most part, overclocking is done for bencharmking
or any fan settings I need to change?
Undervolting you'll have to do manual
did you already buy the ram?
you can do it for games
or the ssd?
Yup 1 sec
i wouldn't buy either of those
yeah I did, not good choices?
Is it recommended to undervolt?
ram is overpriced, corsair makes bad ram
ssd is overpriced, good ssd just not a good price
p31 is better and $110
oh rly?
Can you return the ram and power supply and ssd they're all very overpriced?
i didnt even see the psu price
well i got the psu half off
I guess I will buy extra ssd if I need any
jesus
the Sata
oh thats fine then
its a great psu, just not worth for $140. If it cost $70-80, its fine
For 70$ that's a good price,then
ram and ssd still sad though
whats a good brand for ram?
I could probably still return the ssd but Im pretty sure I got it for about 110
but more importantly can you return the ram and ssd?
gskill ram is generally good
gtg
o/
110 isn't bad but I'd definitely return the ram
ah ok
Can you return the ram?
well what ram should I get?
I'll put it in the list
the ram hasnt arrived yet, i ordered it the other day
im not sure if ill be able to return it, probably though
You can cancel the order
Do you need wifi?
Hopefully anyways
wifi is prefered, not necessarily needed tho
Okay
theres a brand new i7-12700K auction about to end on ebay, its at a good price rn, should I try to get it then sell my 11400F?
12400 is plenty already
below 300 rn, only a few mins left,
sus
What's it at rn?
Not a good deal really, 12700f is basically the same minus integrated graphics and new for 310
got 40 watchers so yeah people are gonna start bidding crazy
If like 275 might be worth
282 rn
Imo I'd either sell the 11400 and grab a 12400, or just stick with the 11400
Not like the 11400 is a bad cpu
ah ok
@little osprey id do this, personally I'd go for 1 of the 32gb versions tho

@fossil cedar h18
For the case
Or the mb311l
Isn't the g the mx330 variant with good airflow?
is it a dumb question to ask how a mobo without wifi works ? im sorry if its dumb but legit first time building a pc and idek anything about them
thanks!
It has a wifi card built into it
From experience, as long as you're not argumentative or annoying, it's hard to ask a stupid question here
From someone who's asked a lot of questions I thought were stupid
Yeye
Thats why I originally joined
And I stayed to annoy pato as much as possible
Uhno
What's wrong with it?
Mx330 x is mx330 g with 1 less fan and not blue
Oh
Thought it had a solid top
Can't look at it rn since discord will barely load, on the bus with bad connection
You can only connect to the internet with an ethernet cable
Np
Wait, I thought that if a mobo didn't have wifi a USB wifi card would allow it as well?
That wasn't phrased well
But I think you get the question
Just meh
If you have a Wi-Fi adapter Wi-Fi will obviously work if not you have to use Ethernet unless your mobo has built in Wi-Fi
I currently use a pcie wifi card and a USB one
Yeah you can add a usb/pcie card for wifi too
Since without the other they both suck
I’ve used both and I prefer pcie cards
I'd prefer built in
My mobo had a m.2 wifi card, but for some reason the guys who built my pc took it out in leui of the pcie one
But my new setup im within arms reach of the router so I’m going to use Ethernet
Instead of leaving them both in
Asrock sell motherboards that you can add your own wifi module into
Yea my board has a spot specifically for it
That would be mine
It has an m.2 slot with a wifi card already in it
Had*
I love bad connection
would u be able to link me that

Look for a card with ax200 if you want good wifi, although just get a motherboard with built in wifi, a lot easier

idk
idk what im looking for
or do i buy the gigabyte one
I too do that a lot
i dont ask many questions tho
my g.skill ram won't change color no matter what
like i tried the g.skill app and open rgb and even my mobo app
its not working
Are you using any other software to sync rgb they might be conflicting with each other
Honestly don't know much about wifi
Yeah someone else here could probably answer but ye
Doesn't really interest me as long as it works lol also complicated
overpriced
for a non a tier psu, anyways
kk
was just wondering since they having sale for build your own I guess
how are corsiar CX-M ones
worth a shot asking
ok guess will go with what you guys gave me then
:3
should I get warranty or skip it?
oof regular 12400 went up back to 200
time fore 12400f
Extended warranties aren't usually worth it except on things that might wear out faster, like mice and monitors
As far as squaretrade, I've had nothing but good experiences with them. There was one time they lost my info but I showed my receipt with the warranty and they replaced my item.
looks like only newegg has it
not amazon
at least I will be buying mobo and gpu from newegg
so no need to the the 3/4 year insurance?
On the CPU? No
I wonder how hard it would be to mount a TV over this
so can skip for cpu gpu and most stuff huh
got it
there isn't a difference between the 6700xt gigabyte vs msi one right?
Not a practical difference
can someone help me with a build? my budget is 710 and i already have a 1660 super. i plan on just using it for gaming. (SoT, Gta, etc)
i have a ethernet cable so i don’t need wi-fi.
USD
hoping to purchase by july
haha sure, it’ll be a tad late responding, working rn haha
Sounds like time for a 12400 build
well someone got here
any ram u think is best. ssd prefer

Cooler prob overkill, forgot what cheap coolers have 1700 mount now
Case could be changed, PSU could be changed
12400 non-F is same price recently so double check.
Ye
Since they already have 1660 super, I'd save the 30$ for now
Yea if $30 & have that gtx of course get the F.

Best budget PSU to pair with a 5950x and 3080
anything off the A tier list pinned in #cases-psu-and-cooling
Do you plan on doing any kind of overclocking?
If no overclocking https://pcpartpicker.com/product/WxZzK8/msi-mpg-a-gf-850-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-mpg-a850gf
If overclocking https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jRvdnQ/corsair-rmx-2021-1000-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-cp-9020201-na
for what
For a pc
then youll want a 12900k or 5950x
Kk
Gaming on threadripper
are you rich or a company buying the pc or smthn?
@opal olive
Obviously somewhat of a buget but like pretty high budget tho
whats the budget then...
ill make a list
theres 100% better price/perf, but i dont make lists for that type of budget
PC Builder - AMD Ryzen 9 5950X, GeForce RTX 3090, Corsair 7000D AIRFLOW ATX Full Tower
Kk gonna check it out now
Gonna look into the motherboard rq
I like it but could u maybe find a better motherboard maybe feels a bit limited rn as if I wanted to add more to it
idk for that high of a budget
was more so giving a general idea than suggesting it outright
ssd is prolly stupid too
Dang gpu is half the budget
It often is though
This is the highest performance I can justify parts for. If you need more memory you can get it but keep in mind it'll reduce performance the more you have past this point.
PC Builder - Intel Core i9-12900K, GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, Fractal Design Torrent RGB ATX Mid Tower
@mossy venture slow bootup can be sped up by switching to an ssd right?
yes
Usually
Ty that helped put the m.2 8tb instead 5 of them
its normal for boot
indeed
@mossy venture does hdd slow down boot time or everything in general
everything in general
Hm
Boot especially since it needs to access lots of smaller files at once to get all the services going. HDDs aren't great at that.
Laptop keeps turning off
Probably a power issue of some kind if it's a sudden shutoff
If the battery is removable try running without it
Okay
Batteries is fine
Its going into like sleep mode
Cause i boot it up and all the stuff i opened is there
Gonna check this
Turn off auto sleep and hibernate then, in power settings
Ill do it after i check hdd conection
@mossy venture ngl having dome trouble opening this
There's usually some plastic clips holding the case together. They design it so it's really hard to open without breaking off those clips.
Using a plastic spudger is the best way I've found
Or a guitar pick if you don't have a spudger
Done
I just finished the no budget pc

PC Builder - Intel Core i9-12900K, 2 x GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower
That cooler is not nearly good enough for that processor
Now buy it
It's literally the hottest consumer processor available right now
Good idea!
LiMORE EXPENSIVE
I'd highly recommend a custom loop if you're doing parts like those. The top 3090 ti will be gasping on the hot air from the bottom one.
Kk thx
DIfferent fan btw
PC Builder - Intel Core i9-12900K, 2 x GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower
The Lian Li Uni Fans are good for spending money. They look cool and chill the pc well too.
Oh and arctic silver 5 is not MX-5
No kidding but yea they look good thinking of adding 3 more for a push pull setup but not sure if cpu temps would change by much
h
Usually push/pull doesn't change much, maybe 2-3 degrees, unless your old fans are really bad
Yea that’s probably not worth it for me 3 pack of al120s go for around 80 I think and I already spent to much on fans lmao
I'm a function over form guy myself, so a pack of arctic P12 was perfect for me.
I do have 3 extra nzxt fans but would that be weird having mis matched fans?
For push pull
PC Builder - Intel Core i9-12900K, 2 x GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, Lian Li PC-O11 Dynamic ATX Full Tower
get a 12900KS
You wouldn't really see the ones on the case side of the rad anyway
Sry I worded that wrongly I meant would it affect the airflow in a weird way having mis matched fans
Nah, not in any negative way
I’ll probably do it Saturday than and do some testing
Unless you had counter rotating fans, then it could be negatively impacting
But that's rare
I’m running a 5800x sits low 30s idle maybe it bring me to the high 20s
PC Builder - AMD Threadripper 3990X, 2 x Quadro GV100, Corsair 780T ATX Full Tower
Though the storage might be cheating
Im not sure if pcp was going by sata ports or not showing errors since external ports
Cpu also kinda cheating
i dont see outdoor rgb floodlights
how people gonna know you have gaming pc
its a meme spensive build
my adaptation of the one boblasershark made
I’m not sure if this is the right chat for this question. But I built a pc and my ram is stuck at 1866mhz even with xmp or manually overclocking it. I have 4x8 trident Z 3600mhz
Tf is a 6lb field cannon? Lol
The Ordnance Quick-Firing 6-pounder 7 cwt, or just 6-pounder, was a British 57 mm gun, serving during the Second World War as a primary anti-tank gun of both the British and United States Army (as the 57 mm Gun M1). It was also used as the main armament for a number of armoured fighting vehicles.
Although designed before the start of the war, ...
Lol.
Every gamer needs one
Are there any cases that have space for 18 fans?
Then I shall get one
Thermaltake Core P8
Protection
That a good case?
Define good lol
I'm currently using 4000D airflow
I just have 18 argb fans and feel like them sitting on a shelf is a waste
I guess good for thermals.
Then no the P8 is not good for that. It's all tempered glass.
I think the lian li evo fits 16 fans
You can do a push pull on top 6 fans + 3 fans bottom + maybe push pull side if you have a dual rad set up not sure if it fits so that’s another 6 and 1 rear
If I went custom loop then it wouldn't matter so much?
You still need to get air through the radiators. The case is all glass, barely any vents.
Ah ok.
How much does a custom loop typically cost on a budget?
For a basic loop with just the cpu it's around $500 cheapest you can do, looping in the GPU is going to cost another $300 or more.
what software are you using to read that?
Just the task manager and the bios
that is so weird
I have never seen a ddr4-1866 jedec bin in the wild
I mean I think I know why it's doing this
I just didn't know ddr4-1866 was actually produced lol
sounds like xmp is failing to boot so bios is reverting back to default
did you buy this kit as 4x8 or 2 separate kits of 2x8?
From what I could remember I bought it as 4x8
But I guess I could try doing 2stick and see if it changes anything right?
Sips why aren't thou sleeping
https://c.tenor.com/5YrUft9OXfUAAAAM/bonk-doge.gif
I just got in bed
B450m aorus and r7 1700x
I was gaming on my laptop today so I could do ram oc on my PC lol
oh yeah that explains everything
you're not gonna be able to run 3600 xmp on a 1700x
or even with manual tuning with 32gb
you're gonna have to attempt downclocking it
try 3200 at xmp timings first
then if that fails try 3000/2933
after that you can tighten timings manually if you wish
ryzen 1000 has an absolutely garbage memory controller
as far as I'm aware running 4 sticks at 3600 is impossible on 100% of ryzen 1000 samples
Your Irish alarm clock is telling you to pass out of else
https://c.tenor.com/MVV1eVBofz0AAAAM/threat-april.gif
good luck
Aight thank you for helping me, I’ll let u know what happens later😂
I burned my manual oc values into my SPDs
and removed the bios options
fight me pato
I'll clear cmos
don't have one
Wat
3000mhz works
my bios is powered by my epic gaming chair
Nooooo the most powerful of chairs :(
admit defeat and I may spare you
is this jayz2cents chair?
which generates electricity?
I've got one more trick up my sleeve, I'm going to unpad your 3090
how dare you lump me in with him
are you the asus rma department
lol
my chair has a hydroelectric generator that runs off of pure gamer sweat
strip his screws as well to such a degree that he cant ever repad
No I'll just do it while your sleeping
oh yeah?
@earnest olive thanks for helping again, now I know why it was like that. Imma switch rams again
I'm going to replace your gaming chair with a plastic stool with no back
HE DABBED!
sips ur done
he finished you
and dabbed on ur body
Jokes on you I don't have a gaming chair
I'd buy new cpu before new ram
your ram is worth more than your cpu
ryzen 5 5600 is cheap, compatible with your mobo, and destroys your current cpu
and then you can sell it to offset the cost
I have r5 2600x lying around and r7 3700x, I’m trynna sell this 1700x pc that I got. So I’m just making sure everything works before selling it off😅
I'm going to replace your lucky potato with a rock
ah I see
u wont be able to find his lucky potato
he hides it
You sick swears profusely
yeah I usually just put $25 ram kits in flips and then oc them to something more respectable lol
inside a box of his corsair ram
pushed some $25 ram kits to like 3200c14
I had a corsair ram on this pc but the clearance on the be quite cooler didn’t work
we all know u wont go near corsair ram sips
RAWR don't tell him where
Thanks again have a goodnight yall
Night
good night
I got a kit of corsair ram once
dw pato he wont be able to touch the corsair ram box to open it, its his one weakness
actually there's a kit of corsair ram in my room right now
YOU MONSTER
How are you breathing
but listen
YOU SLEEP IN THAT ROOM?!
SIPS IS THAT WHY U NEED AIR PURIFIER?
and no mixed ICs
yes
no
they're an absolute nightmare IC
I cannot get the kit to run 3200 at any timings
however
3133 14-17-17 is 100% stable
for now
Sips i saw a corsair "samsung b die" 3200cl16 kit on ebay for like 250$ for 32gb before
That's some spektek ass
to be fair, I believe corsair actually does have a 3200c16 b-die kit that's actual b-die
they might not have been wrong
Would be very corse hair momen
Gary just showed me a wacky adata ram kit that's confirmed b-die but 3200 16-18-18 lmao
yeah 1.35
nvm we both read the list wrong
it's not confirmed b-die just confirmed samsung
probably c-die
okay I need sleep
good night
Any suggestions for a air cooler on a 12700k? Noctua and be quiet are the only like real tower coolers I can think of right now
Yeah that’s why I’m looking for something more like a dark rock pro 4 or nhd15 or w.e noctua calls that sexy beast
Any reason you want to go with Air cooled over water cooled?
Less potential issues usually prefer it
Gotcha.
If anyones curious I reminded myself that the scythe Fuma 2 exist and is a solid cooler
Oh did scythe finally get a lga1700 bracket
Deepcool ak620
Fuma 2 is okay but not for the price anymore, iirc around 60$ but ak620 beats it by a long shot so
Seriously 👀 didn’t expect that at all
AK620 is pretty good
The real question is… how good is the screwdriver
Ak620 beats nhd15 in noise normalised, in full boar d15 wins by like 1c or so
And imo if you're paying ~100 for a cooler it better be an aio
Little less moving parts on a air tower great for work station type situations easier to transport, $40 isn’t a massive leap in cost anyways
It is for that small of a difference lol
Yeah 45$ for worse noise normalised but 1c better max fans just not worth imo
That’s true, I just don’t wanna get a call from my buddy later on saying his mobo died and he isn’t sure if his gpu is working. He’s gunna be doing lots of renders and a bit of ai work would rather a fan just die eventually and replace that
Guys if I want to sync all my rgb fans to msi mystic light would I need to get a splitter hub to connect all my fans to and then connect the hub cable to the rgb light controller pin on the motherboard???
Good Morning, everyone. Happy Friday!
But can you get a keychain, notepads, and case badge for buying an ak620?
Keychain and notepads with the d15?

Yeah, if you buy a Noctua product you can get a goody bag
idk if there's a minimum purchase, but all you have to do is email them if you got a d15 and show proof of purchase
It's not worth $45 but I do use the keychain every day
But i ordered it just now
One sec wrong link
There's an example
That's pretty cool, reckon i could get it with my d15s from eBay xD
Ayo small fan keychain
Not sure if it works with eBay, but worst case they say no
Yeah, it's literally just one of their fans without a motor 😆
I put my house keys on it for when I walk the dog
Probably a dud or something
Usually a 3 fan model will cool better, depends on the exact model
The two fan Asus Noctua 3070 is one of the best cooled air cooler 3070s for example
Both of those coolers are good
KO is from it originally being made for the Korean market
V2 means LHR
*paid
Well thanks again everyone for helping me find/get good deals to build my first comp
Now I wait for parts to slowly come
from tomorrow until possibly 27th of may

@scenic heath
Can afford to go a bit more nuts for fun if you want
Happy to help:D
I’m willing to go a bit more nuts bc I want to lol

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XJz89r

https://www.bequiet.com/en/contact/lga1700mounting
I'm too lazy to scroll up . Give me decent 12400 builds again pls
3070ti and aio preferred
am too lazy to make new list so I disappear now, try summon pato
my laptop is really not wanting to work with me rn, takes a solid 10 second to open anypage
Lol there was decent samples but I'm tazy to scroll up lol
Maybe you should pin some decent builds
alright one second
what was the budget?
@ornate condor $700 3070 ti vs $677 3070, which do you prefer
oh wait, 660 3070
Why not arctic?
Why aio with 12400 such a waste
Pcpp said no stock
can never remember the name of it
Ak620?
nah, thats 12600k and 12700f
Gammaxx 400/id cooling se 224xt/214xt/ vetroo v5
veetro v5, thats it thanks
Vetroo price recently has been meh
Gammaxx 400 and id cooling 214xt
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
could do better on psu
Rgb version is for not too much more
pricing for psus just sucks rn
Pcpp said no stock for rgb 360 either
earthwatts is $90 now
So pure loop 360 is good enough
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
maybe
d.f 650 might be cheaper
Gpu is not much important lol he probably will buy whatever he can find lol
not sure, in clas cant check rn
typing without looking at my screen as well so sorry for the typoes
Rgb preferred too lol
i have edifier r1280t’s
not disappointed with my purchase at all. can’t really go too cheap, esp if you want some half decent speakers
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
changed ram
and psu
Thanks

@ornate condor id do this instead of aio, bout the same price as 12400 aio, also psu prices suck so why not get 850w for 105 :/
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/44DCd9
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600KF, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
Sadge
Oh wait lemme rgb it a bit for ya
Thanks it's for coworker

Do they want wifi?
Looks great. Thanks!
Could really add more without adding aio, so put in some better ram
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/X7PmDq
If they want aio

PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600KF, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600KF, Phanteks Eclipse P360A ATX Mid Tower
Imo they could go 12400 but I'd rather go 12600k on air and get good tower cooler instead
If they need wifi wack this board in
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/pzstt6/msi-mag-b660m-mortar-wifi-ddr4-micro-atx-lga1700-motherboard-mag-b660m-mortar-wifi-ddr4
very welcome. 2.0’s. carry good base for no sub and remote. good price imo
you’ll like em
Np
Also I just wonder if 12600k is worth extra 100$ over 12400
I bought mine for 230$ and I think it's good value but for 280$ it's questionable
nah at that price id just go 12700f

Best aesthetic pc build? Not performance wise but just looks super nice and fresh
are you buying any of these
or just wasting our time with having us make these builds
looks are person to person
My friend is asking cause he's trying to get other people thoughts as I don't really know much about aesthetic
a better performing machine is more beautiful to me than a pc thats twice the cost for looks for the same performance
can I have tips on my build? https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mangles123%40/saved/bRnTMp
Well he's gonna make it be good too but mainly wants the aesthetic to be very nice and appealing the specs he'll handle
whats the budget for the whole build
about 1500 USD
if they wanted looks just have an nzxt pc
does the mobo need to have wifi?
yeah that would be easier since there's an ethernet port on the other side of the room but I can't move my desk
kk
so I'd have to get a long Ethernet cord
Cable hider would probably be useful than just to hide it from being messy imo
it's not looks more just the port is on the other side of the room and I'd have to run it over my door
Oh ok
I don't wanna run it under because I know I'll trip over it and that won't end well for anyone lol
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower
I wanna say something but might be too much
Ye true lol aint want it breaking
personally id go p400a over 4000d airflow
p400a digital*
wait one sec
i just realized what psu i put in there lmao
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/BsMfyK there we go
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower
god damn it
nvm
sorry doing three things at once
all good! sorry about that
not your fault, dw about it
so, do you know what modular vs non modular means?
in terms of power supply?
mhm I do!
do you care if its non modular?
not really no
theres a high B tier 750 for $70, but non mod
cool
wait, 700w*
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower
thanks!
if you want a modular psu, this is A tier https://pcpartpicker.com/product/TDjJ7P/antec-earthwatts-gold-pro-750w-80-gold-certified-semi-modular-atx-power-supply-ea750g-pro
imo worth the extra, but up to you
awesome thanks!
@fossil cedar might have better ideas for the psu
is the Corsair 5000d airflow good or should I stick to the phanteks one you sent?
the 5000d non airflow isnt great
if you were getting a 360mm aio, 5000d airflow might be worth it
but imo not worth for your budget
yeah I changed it and was getting the EK AIO basic 360
also not really worth it for your budget
but I could get a different AIO
12400 doesnt need an aio at all
okay then I can get a tower cooler
if you found a cheap 3070, could go 12600k or 12700f and then an aio might be worth it
wait
i just realized what that mobo is, thought it was a different one
im sorry
it's all good!
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12600KF, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Phanteks Eclipse P400A Digital ATX Mid Tower
alr there we go
bruh
and now i forget the psu
im on a roll
it's all good! I can add it!
Gaming ax may be a good subsitution if same price too
It'd be full ATX which can be nice for aesthetics too
needs wifi
Ax is gigglebytes way of saying wifi
Can someone help me with this https://pcpartpicker.com/list/M9kBPXs
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower
yeah few min
whats the budget?
this also possible https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VjCpBj
PC Builder - Intel Core i7-12700F, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Cooler Master MasterBox MB311L ARGB MicroATX Mid Tower
better cpu and heatsink
and this aio is noisy but if you dont mind the noise https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JY7rv3
PC Builder - Intel Core i7-12700F, GeForce RTX 3070 LHR, Cooler Master MasterBox MB311L ARGB MicroATX Mid Tower
Budget is 600 i have a gpu and keep cpu and cooler trying to make other stuff cheaper that will Still run good
few min
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jxmfyK imo id spend a bit more for a heatsink
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, Cooler Master MasterBox MB311L ARGB MicroATX Mid Tower
any other parts you have? or just gpu
Just gpu
then the list i made works well
What's a heatsink
cooler
the psu in there is high B tier, non modular though
what gpu did you get?
1070ti
psu overkill then, one sec
Ok
unless you want to have room for upgrades in the future
I do but only for gpu possible and tam
then if you want room to upgrade gpu id keep the psu in there
if he buying 12gen cpu why not get 750w psu
Ok
because 1070 ti, if no plan to upgrade no use
but since they do, its fine
well its 700w, but whatever
yeah 1070ti is too low for 12400 build so if he gets better psu he can replace gpu easily near in future
... which is why i asked if they want room to upgrade gpu in the future
Trying to find a white cooler that's not over 100 if evern 80
so you want a white build
I'm aiming for that
white = more fps

Lol no my setup is based around it
do you care if the psu is?
Nope
19$ cooler
could also go for this psu, but its a bit worse https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08D3Q2YZ7/ref=twister_B091Y2GLJM?_encoding=UTF8&th=1
still enough for a 12400, considering it wont throttle with stock cooler
being more expensive doesnt make it better...
it looks near identical
the 230w tdp means nothing
even stock fan is expensive that it lmao https://www.newegg.com/p/13C-004C-000F4?Description=lga1700 cooler&cm_re=lga1700_cooler-_-13C-004C-000F4-_-Product
price does not make it good
look at half of asus products
or zotac
and most of corsair
I don't know about that case tbh but I altered it a bit https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hfgTY9
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, Corsair 275R Airflow ATX Mid Tower
please dont buy that ram
corsair makes terrible ram
500gb is nowhere near enough storage, assuming youre using the pc for gaming and stuff like that
tho ig you can add more later
I'm planning to add more since I play low storage games not like cod but I want a cheaper ram
eww corsair ram
Too expensive
then id suggest not buying white ram
tbh theres some t-force ram ssd bundle at amazon lol
could you find it?
This bundle contains 2 items as below. (1)TEAMGROUP T-Force Delta RGB DDR4 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz (PC4-25600) CL16 Desktop Memory Module Ram TF4D432G3200HC16FDC01 - White (2)TEAMGROUP T-Force CARDEA Zero Z44L 500GB Support SLC Cache with Graphene Copper Foil 3D NAND TLC NVMe PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 2280 ...
150$ for 32gb rgb ram + 500gb ssd

imo yours is a better deal
t-force have nice deals even frequently having 10% off on those bundles
@vapid jolt
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, Corsair 275R Airflow ATX Mid Tower
ots a;rogjt empigj
me when i have my fingers shifted right one key
its alright enough
I using T-force A440 2tb ssd got in bundle for just 200$
Why is it worse
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Z77rv3 hows this
PC Builder - Intel Core i5-12400F, Corsair 275R Airflow ATX Mid Tower
mp33 just a bit cheaper and slightly faster than 550
I think I like the 4000d more
Yeah
That's what I meant
or this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/YNdrxr/phanteks-eclipse-p360a-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-ec360atg_dwt
p360a great case
they prolly have similar temps, just your preference
looking at reviews it looks like the p360a is a bit better
The E-ATX MasterBox TD500 Mesh White takes airflow performance and turns it into an art form. Powered by three pre-installed ARGB fans, airflow is fed through a geometric, three-dimensional mesh front panel into a system viewed from a crystal-clear tempered glass side panel. The Crystalline Tempe...
Should I buy the cpu first I don't have enough money for it and I'm to young for a job but I can buy like one of 2 parts
not much of a point in buying parts you cant use
and new better priced stuff will be out by then
