Z690 is the latest gen and has more than enough pcie bandwidth for a 3090

But typically all 1st pcie slots are x16. The 16 is number of lanes. Pcie 5.0, 4.0, 3.0 is the generation and determines how much data each lane can transfer.

I personally think the 3070 is a better card than the 3070ti, delivering 95-97% of the performance for 70% of the power draw

could look to trade your 3070ti for a 3070 + $100 or so

make back some money you spent on the capture card

the 3070 will also mind the slightly restricted airflow from the elgato card less

Yeah where it says chipset, that’s what’s controlling the 2nd x16 slot. The slot is a x16 but operates at gen 4 x4 which effectively makes you “right” in terms of transfer speed as gen 3 x8 and gen 4 x4 are the same speed.

you do not need a liquid cooler for any of the cpus you are looking at

if it was a 5600x and you were ocing? sure. if it was a 12600k? sure. but 12400/f and 5600g do not need a liquid cooler

This but customise the gpu to a 1660 super, and cpu to 5600g, I'd also grab a 500gb ssd too so you can at least have 750gb storage and this kit of ram or whatever kit of 2x8gb 3200mhz cl16 is the cheapest at time of purchase
