Well that's the topic I was bringing up, the new z6xx boards will have the new lga1700 socket for Intel 12th gen, I said I didn't think noctua had mounting hardware for it yet, but it appears they do, you just have to request it separately after purchasing the cooler.

It's not the capacity that matters, but the bandwidth. The extra memory modules also draw power away from the core.

Only thing is it ran really hot, got a crap looking cooler and brought teps down to 40c from 85+. Want to upgrade figure be cooler run better. Finding it hard not to get the radeon sapphire toxic, as its available. But figure would want a amd processor over my Intel to go with it. Plus the gigabyte 3090 waterforce card I want is usually only $600 more then the toxic but also like the toxic with a 360 radiator over the 240

I have and love my trident Z royals but everything else is like light pastel colors which makes them stick out, looked better with them with less rgb parts. It's a combination of cas latency (and other primary timings) and clock speed that matters
The main reason people get 3200 14-14-14 memory is it's almost 100% b-die, which overclocks REALLY well
If you're not going to overclock it then 3600 16-18-18 will be better on AMD and about equal on Intel

If you wanted you could experiment with overclocking that, it's a b-die kit most likely so you could increase voltage to 1.5v and set frequency up. Try 3400, test stability, then 3600 and test stability.
