The motherboard has an 8 pin and a 4 pin power connector and the graphics card has three 8 pins power connectors. Which is a total of five cables coming from the PSU but the PSU can only do four total.

So should I not hook up the 4 pin CPU and do three dedicated 8 pin cables to the GPU or hook up both the 8 pin CPU and 4 pin CPU and two dedicated 8 pins to the GPU and a pig tail for the third GPU 8 pin?

Yet even when I have my GPU, CPU working to the limit (without OC) and my graphics settings way low, Minecraft Java is super slow (less than 50 FPS at times). Is there a way to fix this…? 😅

Depends on your budget... if you're going for sort of lower-average end gaming, I'd say you're doing good. But if you wanted to maximise that potential I would opt for a better CPU and a better GPU.

Need opinions. I have a 9900K and aorus z390 ultra just about finished with total build and have 3 gigabyte rgb nvme coming friday. Well my isp upgraded to 2Gbs my board is 1Gbs and can't bring myself to put a ugly network card in pc. I can get a 10th gen 11900kf cheap but then what MB? Go z490 to be able to use my 3 rgb nvme? Or go z590 but lose use of some of my nvme as most have 4.0 not 3.0 and most boards in the z590 look like you can't have your nvme exposed as most have plates on over them that aren't ment to be removed, or just stick with what I have? Not overly impressed with the upgrade from my 9900k compared to the 11900kf looks like under 10% improvement.

11900kf isn't 10th gen, PCIe 4.0 nvme slots work with 3.0 drives and vice versa, though PCIe 3.0 drives will only do 3.0 speeds in PCIe 4.0 slots and 4.0 drives will do 3.0 speeds in 3.0 slots. 11900k and kf aren't better than the 10900k and kf and if you go 10th gen and have no plans of upgrading to 11th gen (which as with the previous statement is pointless because 10900k > 11900k) there isn't a point in getting a z590 because all the real perks requires 11th gen. Finally, if you don't really need to upgrade your cpu for anything, I wouldn't bother shelling out more money just because of the look of the network card

Part of the issue is I have a cool master c700m case so not a standard case set up, my MB is moved to the right next to the case fans, my video card is on the left hanging in a chimney configuration with the 240 rad on the back of the case over the power, the MB is open and clean with the 3 rgb gigabyte eagles showing putting the network card in would just have it standing out with the metal connector plate and the ethernet cord coming down across the MB connecting to the card takingba clean rgb look and making it look really bad,

Usually you can take the metal bracket off, though I dunno about how it would look in that setting with the ethernet cable, as I have never even heard of the C700M until now because I've honestly never bothered keeping up with halo products and it is a bit hard for me to get a mental picture of that set up from just a description
