B550 is just a chipset so as x570, They dont relate to the motherboards VRMS etc etc etc. the most notable thing is just extra lanes, chipset fan, and support for multiple gen 4. its also at a higher price point than b550 which makes it not very necessary for the consumer to buy since not many consumers need the extra lanes and multiple gen 4 drives.

generally you're better off with a higher end b550 than a lower end x570

pass the $200 price range on x570s is when they get pretty good but then thats where b550s are also very good

Also, an old build question 😛 I have a Dell XPZ laptop I want to install Windows 7 because it's faster than 10 on that setup ( tested it before on it, and it's much more faster ). But, for some reason when trying to install it from a stick ( the dvd player doesn't work anymore ), it doesn't see the drive, it asks me for drive drivers at the part where you pick the installation drive. Any ideas how to fix it?
