They don't have to be the same, but when you're using two PSUs for the same system, there are some slightly annoying drawbacks, like having to turn on the second power supply first using a method other than the case power button (via jumping or other methods, but also possible to use some tools to be able to turn on both PSUs with case power button), before turning on the primary power supply via the case power button
