the 10700f and 3700x are actually very similar chips, but now with the introduction of the b560 chipset, going intel now seems like a better idea than going amd, but i understand if you want to stay amd, have a good one and i'm glad i got to help

the other 4 pin is for overclocking, and very high overclocking

I don't think that's it. If the power supply is modular, make sure the cable 8 pin is seated and goes back into the psu

I need help on upgrading

I want to upgrade cpu, mother bored, graphics and I already know I’ll have to do a power supply but wondering if a i7 would be good to upgrade to from a i5

And just want better graphics for gaming and maybe able to run some new games

Yeah welll ya see you're not gonna get much better graphics card for another few years unless you get lucky but the absolute min you can get a new one is 350 but more realistically like 500, I'd recommend just kinda suffering and turning down graphics settings because that's all you're able to get at the moment

Awesome. Last thing I wanted to do was ruin a brand new pc

so take the only cable that fits into the psu and plug it in and into the wall then flip the switch and hit the power button

first boot up could take a bit longer so if it doesnt post immediately just give it a min

@sturdy stirrup also make sure to plug ur hdmi or displayport into the gpu and not the mobo
