Yeah, if you already have a 3900x tho don't bother buying a new cpu for at least another 2 years especially if you would replace it with a ryzen 5 but if you dont already have an amd motherboard you can get an i7 10700k for roughly same price as 5600x and if you live near a micro centre you can get a i9 10850k for 300ish

True, but I can seem to locate them via search. The mounting bracket simply slides into the drive-bay and clicks into place. It has small pins near the tabs that locks the bracket in place. squeeze the tabs inward it slides out.

I suppose its considered tool-less. Though, 2 screws are needed to attach the hd to the bracket on either the 3.5/2.5 type drives.

I can only think of a driver problem, I’m very inexperienced with this kind of stuff. But I know that my brother had a laptop that had a bad driver on it. The only fix was installing the new driver . But like you said you updated all the drivers .
