and we have a 111GB ssd from corsair, i want to get him the same ssd that im getting the 2TB Evo Plus

so the things that i have in mind for upgrading is the Graphics Card/Case/Storage/PSU

Does anyone know about replacing an M.2 ssd in your laptop. My pc has a port for a 2.5 Sata drive and One m.2 ssd. I have bought a 1 Sata SSD and 1 m.2 SSD. I have two problems as of right now. 1. How do I data migrate my existing m.2 ssd onto my new m.2 ssd whilst making sure everything is bootable. And the second one is concerning my 2.5" sata ssd, I have already done the data migration of it from my existing ssd to it. However everytime I connect it to my pc, the drives freeze up. I think it's due to the fact that it has two copies of the operating system connected so it does not know which program to use. Idk pls lmk

Well, first, if it only has 1 m.2 slot and you want to migrate data directly from one drive to another, you can't really do that, what you could do is migrate from OG M.2 -> New SATA -> New M.2 (Assuming New SATA and New M.2 are completely empty)

Second, if possible I'd just format the drive again, clean install windows again, and just move the important files you need.

You plug it via USB to your laptop, format the new M.2 on it, then go through the data duplication migration process between two M.2s.

Well, you'd have to be able to boot into one of the drives (windows or other OS), Macrium reflect is a good software, it has a transfer OS thingy.

Eh, I feel like buying a external m.2 enclosure just for moving files over isn't a great investment when you could just do a->b->c

Besides, one can use the enclosure as an external drive for backup and stuff (once you buy another M.2 for such a thing).

As an aside, Acronis True Image has helped me quite a bit with data migrations, since it allows an option to transfer drives with less capacity.

and also, hot plugging probably won't work if the OS is on there, so try to keep it plugged in on boot/power on, but I'm not completely sure if you could boot windows off USB.

If that doesn't work you can try manually rebuilding all the boot partition data in recovery mode
Windows 10 has a "Windows ToGo" thing you can use to boot from USB but it needs to be enabled on install

Mostly for enterprise users so users can have their data between identical stations

But yea, to start off, I'd probably just go with like a 1tb P31 with a 4tb x300, that should be enough for you since there doesn't seem like much that'll just eat through your storage, and you do have another external drive and space for many more drives.

Something is making the POST process take longer than normal then, could be any number of things and in my experience it's often overclock or storage related.
There should be some fast boot options in the BIOS that will skip a few of the checks that could be causing a delay.

I tried taking the PSU out and connecting one fan to the fan hub and attaching a sata cable for power. Turned on the PSU and nothing happens. Fan should start running
