I got there first
Build a PC. Its not posting. I have read, it might not be able to post with a 3rd gen cpu. any tips before i need to buy a gpu or an 1st or 2nd gen cpu just to update bios?
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite AMD B450
@muted patio is it possible a B450 board came shipped without a BIOS update?
Check the box and see if it says Ryzen 3000 ready or something like that
nah, it's something else
It's memory or something else
When you turn it on, check to see what light it stops on
It’s your GPU then
VGA is on, that's a graphics card issue
i dont have a gpu in
xD
Kek
guess ryzen 5 has no integrated gpu
Yeah you kinda need one of those XD
not the 3600 no
should have known that
Only Ryzen 3
lol
or 3400g
i just need a vga outlet no gaming
any cheap gpus i can use?
Well you still need a GPU regardless
buy a 770 from forks
He has tons
$80
Oi @celest horizon
Yes
the pc is for an 71 yo old. The most he is doing is maybe watch a video online
Ok then
If he finds it being slow then get him something slightly more modern
A used 1070 or something perhaps
And I’m in a tunnel with no reception
Ofc
There we go
you just sent 5 messages in half a second lol
Oh my
thats old
Hi, I have a build (r7 3700x, rtx 2060, 600w power supply, ASrock b550m steel legend, 3 argb fans, stranger things themed, demogorgon figure inside! ) what should I do next?
Indeed
And there goes reception again
Damned mountains me damned
Yeah I need that starlink for my phone I think
if the rx 500 series wouldnt be wrong value price for him i would get him an rx560
Put all the parts together and then it on
RX 560 would work
U built it in October, I was wondering what I should do now. Sell it and upgrade? Upgrade? Get a asus zephyrus g14?
I not U
I mean that build is still pretty good for gaming
Do you feel as if the system is lacking in any way?
That you need to upgrade it at all?
Not really, but it throttles a lot. Can I fix that?
What throttles?
Thanks guys
My pc
Which part?
No problem (though I’m not a guy)
What games?
Thanks everyone 🙂
There should be no bottlenecks in that system
Very well balanced
The fans ramp up a lot
They are cooler master
I have them on silent mode in bios
What case do you have?
That’s normal
How do you know it’s throttling?
Air gets hot when it comes into contact with parts that can go upwards of 300 degrees Fahrenheit when not cooled
I thought throttling meant that the fans turn up and it gets more slow
What does throttling mean?
If it doesn’t mean getting slower and louder that is
throttling is your system slowing the cpu down to keep it from burning out when it's too hot
you can tell if you're throttling with hwinfo64
or cpu z
I really just want my fans to stop getting so loud, what do@I do?
i mean would u rather ur fans get loud or ur cpu gets so hot u can cook a steak on it
Idk, how about a happy medium?
Chassis I think
It’s funny because you aren’t even kidding
Yeah ik
im not in the slightest
ive fried eggs on cpus before
you can reduce your fan curves in bios if the system isn't getting excessively hot
can i just exchange the processor from 3600 to the 2200g?
3600 is good
i just ran the numbers and that should be way cheaper
Yeah I would keep that
i mean whatever ur budget allows
My CPU fan was quite loud, so I set it to quiet mode from the APP Center hoping it would help. It kinda does.
i could just use the 3600 in a different build
I’ve scrambled eggs on my Xbox 360
Easier to just get a GPU
i thought so, but that stuff is not in balance between value and price and he doesnt need a dedicated gpu anyway
As long as you aren’t running 3 monitors in 1440p a 2200g should work, yeah
just buy prebuilt
he runs a suare 720 i think
Ban
Nah Nevermind I’ve been breaking a lot of rules today
Not gonna ping vintage
lol
But seriously
Don’t
We aren’t here to recommend prebuilt
We are here to help people save money
Never get a pre built
Scuse me?
Bad mobo, ram, power supply, case, etc
Some prebuilts are fine
Ok
DIY isn't for everyone
Some are great
but isn't buying prebuilt usually cheaper in the long run
Depends

Why would they be cheaper in the long run?
repairs
You know you need to repair prebuilts just as often as normal home built PCs right?
Plus repairs don’t usually even cost money
Is 135f at idle a good temp for a r7 3700x?
Celsius that
Huh?
What is that in Celsius
It’s 59 Celsius
57
60
Maybe
thats a bit high for idle
Probs stock
okay would be in the mid 40
Stock
And also performance plan may be set to 100% all the time
i have the same
Check Windows Performance Plan
My Prism doesn’t get that high even on a 3800x at Max perf plan
your dragon center might be bad or old
What should my plan be at?
dude pick up a 40 buck air cooler
What is it currently at?
Set minimum processor state to 50% or something
and youll shave a ton of degrees
Or just use the AMD Ryzen balanced Power Plan
Prism is better than a lot of air coolers around that price
Ye
rob microcenter
If you run msi...check that. It screwed up my fan speed
He is on an Asrock board
If you don't have Ryzen Power Plans
never mind than
Download Ryzen Master and install the drivers it wants you to
bro i need a gpu o finish my build
^
The very same for me.
Don't know when I'll be able to have that opportunity: before or AFTER the third stimulus?
LMAO
Dragon center kinda crappy
What’s that?
I’m looking for a white build for ~$3500 (I already have the rtx 3080 Fe) what’s the best i can get for that money?
Userbench
Userbench is honestly kind oof
It's ok if you realize the limitations and intended usage scenarios
I'll do Time Spy next 😛
I never recommend userbenchmark at all ever
There's just many better benchmarks so its not worth it to use it at all imo
my friend is looking to build his own pc but i dont think he has enough for a beginners pc
how much does he have
500
unless he literally has 1004
500 is not bad
with a couple of used parts
he can get a beginner pc up and running
however, next gen budget cpus and gpus like 5300 5100 ryzen and 3050 nvidia have not been released and will be soon
so like right now he will get a mediocre pc with a used gpu and other stuff most likely
in a bit he can look to new parts
UB gpu benchmark is so light that you can set something silly like 2400mhz on air
Just look at the actual single/xcore int/float scores
If you need a benchmark to boil it all down to which is better without any further specification, then maybe the 9400f is the best choice
Its dumb stuff like this though
These two CPUs have different use cases meant for different people generally, its stupid to take this into the overall score
Hey, I just had a dumb question, trident z neo ram on Amazon says (for AMD ryzen) I’m assuming this will still work with intel just fine though right?
yee, pretty sure it will
It will
So I disabled virtualization in my bios and my pc won’t start or I can’t see windows WHAT DO I DO
Turn it back on so windows can boot
Turn it back on?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hNysxc better recommendations for faster ram and nvme?
I did and i can’t get in my bios my windows or bios won’t show anything
CMOS reset then
My monitor shows that their is nothing starting
How
Do I comos restart #
Pls help
Unplug, remove the flat battery on motherboard, hold power button for 60 seconds, put battery back and plug in
Lol calm down dude
ok I’ll try
Give people time to type messages
It's not that serious. Hiccups like this happen all the time and 99.99% of the time it's easily fixed
Panicking only makes things worse lol
Can't do nothing if you don't have a clear head
And please, don't pry it out
On stand by as well, we just need a little more information and start from basics
Alr
Wise words
Yes
What motherboard do you have?
Yes should be near where you install the gpu
What does it look like
Should look like that
Generally it's near the PCIe slot on most MOBO
Check underneath your gpu
Other side of GPU
So unscrew it
If you can't reach it, then yes
If you can reach it, you don't have to
So unscrew the alien thing
Uh
To the left of that pic
left side of your pic, other side of the GPU card
Your GPU is the item on the left side of the image, it's the long computer part
So the green thing
Other side of the vertical thing on the left side of your picture
Past the giant card
Ye
Good god, alienware
Battery is probably under the Geforce Card
Alienware cooler gave that away
wait a prebuilt with 2 sticks of ram?!
It's most definitely under the gpu tho
My pc runs at low FPS
have to remove the Geforce GPU to get the battery most likely
Check under there
So it’s under my GeForce
Yes
Ye
Green thing
Yes, most likely
big boy
Ok I see it
^
Push that and remove the battery
Please don't pry the battery with a screwdriver
That's how you break things lol
lol
Oh yeah, definitely get some canned air and a brush and clean out that dust
Oh I've got a vaccum cleaner where I can connect the exhaust to the head
And thus it becomes a reverse vaccum
Oh nice, I have a small usb air blower
Nicely it also blows out clean air
And a small air compressor (meant for airbrushing but it works for most things)
Alot cheaper/less environmentally damaging than canned air
Yeah for sure
Canned air is just a conventional way to do it
Looks good to me @little osprey
You really want to spend $300 on fans?
Unplug from wall
remove battery
wait 2 minutes
put battery back
plug back in
put GPU in
restart
I got nothing other than super expensive fans lol
What’s the wall
huh?
How do I remove the battery
Not great imo full of overpriced components with no real benefit to performance
its more to look nice
What silver tab ?
make sure ur pc is off
lol
I see vintage already said
Yep they unplugged it already
Ok I clicked it
should pop out and be removeable
Ok let me remove it
then wait 2 mins
When you click the tab, it should pop out of its socket
if you have a card of some sort like a credit card you could push it under and pop it out
take it out fully
Ik
and after 2 mins or so like jake said put it back in
if its been 2 mins then yes
oh, carpet building?
shiny battery
it do be shiny tho
carpet isnt good cuz static electricity can kill parts
but linus has proven it is difficult to kill parts
yeah, i'd build on solid floors without carpets
but again, that
however it is possible
but the possibility is there
It’s a prebuilt I just did something on accident
i wouldn't take risks if i could avoid them lol
Should I build my pc
huh
is your prebuilt enough for you?
I was just saying Idek
if it's doing what you need it to do at a reasonable level
I mean it gets like 150
thinking about my pc I need an anti sag bracket....
Ik
use a blower to blow out all the dust
Ok I put the battery back in what do I do
or vacuum
preferably outside the house probably
I sometimes vacuum the front mesh to get dust off it
plug everything back in and turn it on, see if it works
oh mesh stuff def vaccum
dust inside the pc needs to be blown off
yeah
So the P400a doesn't have a mesh filter rather the front panel is the filter.....dust literally collects on the front
Ikr
or wipe
Once a week, quick microfiber wipe
That's what I did, wiped it off every week
THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH (:
glad its working fine now even tho I barely helped
clear cmos is so poggers
@slender sparrow i like the second one better bc u can get that nice natural sunlight during the day
Eww sunlight
bruh
idk if thats just me
but like
my head gurts
hurts
if im in the dark with my computer for too long
It's not just you that's how eyes work
Eyes have to strain in the dark so long periods can cause headaches
ye, idk about you but setting a nice warmer/cooler color scheme on the screen helps with eye strain from staring at the screen for so long in the dark
it just relieves stress from my eyes a lil
you can get a cheaper z490 board like the z490-a pro, or even the prime z490m-plus, you can get that rgb ram if you insist, the cooler can be swapped for like a black 224-xt, but it's about the same price and the black hyper 212 doesn't look too bad, 1660s' price is high, might as well get a 5600xt for the same price or get a fe3060 for like 30 bucks more, two more fans will be ideal for that case and the psu is overkill for the system, you'll be fine with a good 500-550w psu or a decent 600w psu like the segotep gp, which is tier b and around the 50 bucks range
i honestly have to say i got a hyper 212 black and its quality was pretty amazing. The hardware that came with it felt pretty high quality for 30 bucks
and this hyper 212 is a good price tbh
32 bucks for a rgb 212 aint bad at all
pure rock 2 is also a great option in the 40 bucks range, but i'd rather have the matte black look on the black 212 then like a carbon fiber look on the pure rock 2
@hasty tendon what's your overall budget for the system?
looks like you're going for a black aesthetic so i'll follow that
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LqTdz7
I'd just change the case and psu to this
i already have the m.2 so not counting that $1000
hold on i have to read all of this
i just realized you all responded
lol
if it's 1k not including ssd then I'd put the rest of the money into the gpu
oh someone else convinced me to change the case to this https://pcpartpicker.com/product/ZJcRsY/phanteks-eclipse-p360a-atx-mid-tower-case-ph-ec360atg_dbk
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/nWNXW3 tbh, this doesn't look bad
so no h510
wdym?
it looks like a great case imo
they said too hot bad
it does
i almost just ignored it
but i dont want anything to go wrong
new to this too
it's fine if you have a decent cooling configuration in my opinion
wouldnt know what to do lol
two fans in front, one on top, and one in the back is the best you can do in that price point afaik
it's be cool if you can fit sum 140mm fans innit, lemme check
if you still want to keep the case @hasty tendon
the new case would be more convenient to me because i THINK the fans included are mounted already so then all i would have to do is plug them in. if not then id just go with what your saying
is this the exact same one i chose but with RGB?
the nzxt case comes with two fans pre-installed on the top and rear mounts
cool then ill change it to that
ill just buy it now then lol
i am
with rgb in the mix
obviously
cool
just a little tho
yee, it'll look good
someone said that the one i chose was pointless because i cant oc but i picked it because it looked nice
oh i forgot to mention sum
you should also wait for mobo manufacturers to release their mobos with the b560 chipset
you won't be able to oc the chip but you'll finally be able to oc ram and get it running at rated speeds instead of being capped at 2666mhz for the i5/i3 chips or 2993mhz? for the i7 chips
how long do you think?
so for now, buying z490 for the ram oc is acceptable but if you can, just wait
wdym?
how long until i can buy one
idk bruh, iirc they were supposed to come out in january or so
some manufacturers have them in their websites if you want to give em a look
for the mobo i chose the ram would be locked at 2666?
no, you'll be able to run it at 3200mhz
on the current b-series chipset (b460), you'll be capped at 2666mhz with that chip (10400f)
ohh ok
lmk once the build's done, looks like it's gonna come out great
oh, and the 3060 is supposed to come out later this month, so watch out for that!
Alright Thanks
Hey
Does anyone suggest a good case, AIO cooler for a Ryzen 9 3900XT?
my case has 2 fans and my Stock cooler is not cutting it
ek-aio basic and the liquid freezer ii are great options at their price points and cool well
I have 2 fans in my case in total, and my Ryzen 9 averages 45 celcius plus for temp
I was looking at a new case for better air flow all aroundf
Ok, I am trying to add an NVIDIA card to my Dell computer. It needs an 8 pin power supply that my original Dell Precision Tower 3620 psu did not have. I orderded a new Corsair CX650 psu and a 24 to 8 pin adapter and was hoping that was the end of my problems. NOPE! The Dell mother board needs an additional 4 pin plug. I saw on a video how you can split the extra 8 pin in half and there is the power for the mother board. BUT, I need that for my NVIDIA card. Now what?
Sorry, trying to see what will upload. The photos from my iphone fail when I try to upload them, even though they are JPEG
Here are the power supply units connectors from the new PSU.
Didn't I help you? There was another adapter you needed to get also
The 24 to 4 pin adapter for the Dell motherboard
yeah, this one
Wait, let me check again
Yes, I remember you. I bought the 24 to 8 pin adapter you guided me to . the problem is the there are two connections from the psu to the mb. The 24 to 8 pin was one, and there is a 4 pin square connector. That 4 pin is the problem
Hmmmm, wonder what that 4 pin does?
Here is the psu you recommended.
I noticed that the mb supplies the power for the drives as well. The old psu does not power them
Are they SATA drives?
Easy fix for that is to just let the Corsair power them
Should have the plugs for it
No need to have the motherboard power things, just power them directly from the Corsair.
Is it number 24 in this picture?
I will try that next, just didn't know what that 4 pin powered.
Its the #13 I need
Ah, ok stand by pls
Ok, number 13 just takes regular CPU power. On the Corsair supply, there should be an 8 pin connector labeled CPU that splits into 2 4 pin connectors. ONE of the 4 pin connectors goes there
In this picture it's the 8 pin plug dead in the center. It should split in half.
True, but I need that 8 pin to power the NVIDIA card. So I'm deficient again.
No sir!
The 6+2 pin power connector is for your GPU
The one that's laying where your thumb and forefinger come together on your hand
Should be labeled PCI-E or VGA
Those are for the NVIDIA card
But the PCI plug is only 6 pin, the video card has an 8 pin connection
There is a 2 pin add on plug connected to it. The two fit together to make 8 pins
They're on the same cable
Vintage when you get a sec slide into #build-pics and lmk what you think
Like this
Ok, I see the 2 pin add on. That should do it?
Cool! How do I know which side the 2 pin goes? On the left or the right?
don't want to blow the board
There may be a pin on either side
Yeah
The plug is keyed in such a way it will only fit one way
the latch should lock on
try to identify it first on the gpu
And when I split the 8 pin for the cpu, how do I know which goes to the mb, the left or right?
Got it, I'll dry fit it without power first.
Ok, thanks a million for the helpl thank you PSY as well.
Welcome!
Newoggians
Look at my pc build #build-pics
And sleep well tk everyone who’s sleeping soon
Let me know what you think
Ah I’ve never reslly seen asrock gpus
1660 supers we're being sold on nzxt refurbished they are now removed I saved the 1660 super in the cart before they were taken off the site but it is still in my cart and is still giving me the option to buy it can anyone please tell me whether or not I should buy it.
@crude pecan as someone who also vertically mounted a cheap GPU i respect you
@granite barn what price is it rn?
what website is that on? @granite barn
NZXT refurbished
oh nzxt
nzxt
then go for it
they should honor your purchase and if not they will refund or you can dispute with your bank
Who’s someone who builds pc for others! For pming
no one here because we dont do selling or buying here
isnt that right @earnest olive
Just wanted an opinion on a motherboard
Coulda started with that
i dont get why so many ppl ask to pm
in the public build help channel
like dont you want more than one opinion lol
Should I go all cooler master fans since I have a cooler master aio
rippe
Intel ssds are pretty good for the money
@hollow grail lili, you got a mp34 yet for testing? >:D
Aye : D
no one has sent one over
so
nah
fun
heres a lil vent about macos
Reason: Bad word usage
oh
Reason: Bad word usage
Reason: Too many infractions
Ikr
Hello there
Sup
uhh
What
can you help me
that was the price for a couple of months, its actually not in stock
like selecting components
So roughly 1k usd
ye
Aighy
and can it have an RTX Gpu
Cards?
B450-F VRMs aint the greatest, i highly suggest the B450 Tomahawk MAX instead
Doesn't matter for 3600 TBH
true
a friend has a b450
ONly worry about VRm's for high end processors
tomahawk max
but Personally I would rather get the tomahawk max
And honestly, all the hubbub about VRM is kinda useless anyway
Would some 3600mhz ram be better too?
For Ryzen 3000 generally yes.
Well
It's not a huge performance difference but Ryzen 3000 generally does best with 3600MHz
i dont care about ramspeed
It's not like 3600MHz is way more expensive than 3200MHz anyways
Here’s a decent list @tame sable https://pcpartpicker.com/list/j2cZvf
Wait guys
When I turn my pc on in the morning
Like I press the power button
It turns on, turns off, and then turns on and boots
ping me when u answer
Unplug it and wait a few minutes before plugging it back in. If that doesn't help, CMOS reset or maybe your power options are weird. Some boards will also do this if the memory is overclocked and it fails to boot the first time.
yea thats what i found online
bc u see
i had docp on for a while
it just started happening
does it mean that i should update bios?
It might help with memory issues
oh
and also
does it have to do with me hibernating my pc at night
instead of sleep
does that make a difference?
Probably not, but I disable hibernation on my computer for 3 reasons:
It boots super fast anyway because SSD
Sometimes if you tell it to shut down, you don't know for sure if it actually shut down or if it hibernated
Disabling it saves disk space which can equal your amount of RAM
errr
its alright
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/xMLVgt would go for this and buy a splitter
or u could just go p360a and use the splitter included with the case
@surreal stone just send the goddamn link at the top jesus christ
theres no reason u should be flooding chat with images theres a link for a reason
Sorry didn’t know
you can get this to get more performance, even shaved off about 30 bucks if they want to get another case https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9WxLHz
Hey guys just wondering the the rog strix oc the best 3080
err spending almost 80 usd more on a z490 board ?
that performance increase isn't gonna be worth that extra 80 btw
i mean sure rocket lake and all that but imo not worth it
@wicked frigate It's one of the best, but hard to definitively say "best" anything when it comes to parts
What about good one
yee it's not worth it, not until b560 comes out, i only put the z490 board cuz of the memory oc and because the budget allowed it
def not price to perf
strix tax is rather large
at that point just go 10700f and b460 ?
So you guys are saying there are no the best 3080
11th gen intel is gonna work on z490 motherboards
mem oc on 10400 wont be impacting much
What had the best performance
only on some
if they want too they can
price to perf probably evga imo
evga has really good coolers and factory oc
What about asus
prices are good too
it does, outperforms the 3600 in gaming by a lil and it's cheaper than buying a 3600 and sum b550 motherboard
"Best" is a very arbitrary term, what works "best" for one person is garbage to another
I see
strix is good too but again they are just very expensive
Than how can I tell of it would work best for me
i mean in standard base b460 performance. ur paying almost an upwards of 80 usd for what? 5 to 7 fps increase
no one would be buying b550 for zen 2 anyways
tbh z490 on 10400/f is useless unless u can find it for fairly cheap
and within this scenario its not the case
3700x ?
yea
then ur fine
oh
suprim x?
msi
um i actually heard that those are pretty good cards
but they are not too aesthetically pleasing imo
Wait
hi red
Ima sell and get a 3060ti

What do are u suppose to look for when buying an GPU
thats cap u need at least 450 to get a basic 3060ti
literally atm get any 3080 you can get
even close to msrp
How is it cap that I can spend 100$ more than I get?
that is an good point
ok
What’s about the ftw3
yea i heard that the ftw3 is a really good one
really just get any that u think looks nice
msot of them like the cooler performance is not too much differenct
different
the cards dont add shader cores
If money isn't a problem those 2 would be decent options
ftw3 prob better option
again doesnt really matter
the difference between models isnt too large\
just check the clock speeds
Which one has highest
idk off the top of my head
Ok
and its memory is slower than the 10gb gddr6x in the 3080
i think freezer better in terms of thermals by a tiny bit but it looks horrendously horrifying
ek is a overall good choice
looks good cools well
K
If you click the "boost clock" tab in the chart it'll sort from high to low, best boost to lowest
i literally wanna watercool my gt 710 just for the sake of watercooling
after i get a new gpu ima try and mod my gt 710 to overclock it higher
Should i do anything to my setup
1050 ti , 4790, and 16 GB of ram
Depends, what kind of budget do you have?
I mean this is the only chance for a gaming pc I can get
how much can you save up tho
because a new Intel 10400F for $130 will be faster than that 4790
LOL
I spent 200 on the optiplex that came with a 4790 16 GB of ram and a wifi csrd
And the 1050ti for 60 dollars
Great budget build
theres not much you can do
Should i get anything else like ssd?
are u booting off a hdd rn?
Yes
SHIET
I have a wd blue
An SSD is the ONLY thing I would get because it can be re-used in a new PC
GET THIS MAN AN SSD
I spent 300 dollars on the pc itself
But my chair, and keyboard
Which is possideon z?
Kailh switches
I think
@tender oriole for the build you posted in #build-pics what 3060ti is that?
ping me back thanks
@jagged bane
does the amount of fans you can have depend on ur motherboard?
well somewhat yes, there is only a certain amount of fan connectors on a mobo, but you can ghet a splitter which just divides the connections so you can add more fans
Not really. Just get a Fan Hub. Can power lots of fans with one of those.
How much should I sell this ADATA 4gb DDR3 1600mhz for? Two of them, online they are around $20-$25 each, idk if those are super old postings that no one is ever buying from though
that is really slow
yeaaaaa
8gb
oh 8 gb?
I have 9 corsair fans 3 of them being on an nzxt cooler what fan hub do u suggest? @muted patio
i would sell for 25 ish
dang
I thought $40 since they are at stores for $25 each
I have this one. Can run 10 fans with it. https://www.amazon.com/DEEPCOOL-FH-10-Integrated-Occupying-Motherboard/dp/B077YHLDSP
the only type of group that would need that ram is like server centers, but even they usually have more than that nowadays
i heard the corsair vengeance pro is good from an irl friend, what are your thoughts on that?
its alright
i have the 16 gb kit at 3200
I think probs people wanting to make super cheap systems for their mom and stuff lol
its the best budget ram basically
Ram? Nah
Crucial Ballistix is better
Or Trident Z Neo with good timings
I got that yesterday
lol
Commander Pro only does 6 fans
And has proprietary RGB connectors
And it's $60
what are proprietary rgb connectors
cool thank you
oh okay gotcha
was thinking of getting one
sata power
Plus one PWM cable for 10 fans, makes for a clean build
yeah so the power comes from a SATA plug on the PSU
and the pwm goes to mobo?
And one cable goes to a fan header for PWM control
o wtf
So can control all your fans from one header
oh thats how it gets 10
Ye
@little osprey paste your build in here
There we go
Changed to a 36 gn set 3600 cl16. Was 4000 with cl18
you can keep the 4000 probably its just pricing tbh.
funny thing, the connectors corsair uses actually aren't proprietary
they're a locking standard that almost nobody uses lmao
you can get adapters
What is that NVME drive?
Super overpriced
Dunno gonna change it
Get an SK Hynix gold or something
I just want to make sure the motherboard is gonna have the slots to work with the parts.
that case is $300 also......way overkill
Thats what I said about the nvme
I sent him the nvme
the mb/s might be too much for your mobo though
wat
i would go 32gb with higher speed
and they just released a new version of that same ram
3200 is not future proof
its shorter
Should be 3600 if you want future proof lol. Losing a tad of performance with 3200
Plus I got all that for $240
@muted patio I said smaller ram
new ones
It can be a big deal, yes
400mhz?
I'm assuming you'll be doing some rendering with this yeah?
Video and photo editing?
No
